Trump Derangement Syndrome Will Destroy
The Judicial Branch

Original Article

President Donald Trump and the courts are in a turf war over the reach of executive and judicial powers. The conflict results from a barrage of nationwide injunctions issued against the Trump administration by left-leaning judges on matters that Trump claims fall within the purview of the executive branch. In a recent opinion piece in The New York Times, retired federal judge J. Michael Luttig claims that the courts will win this struggle. The opposite is true. The judicial branch will destroy itself — just like the Democratic Party did — if it stubbornly continues to fight Trump on the very issues that put him back into the White House.

Excellent article. Favorite part: “But equally so, when the executive concludes that the courts have exceeded their constitutional authority, it may side-step the orders entirely.” May Trump so act!

Any judge who makes donations to a political party should recuse him/herself from cases that involve politics. If not, they should be DISBARRED. It is a blatant conflict of interest.

"That is why the Supreme Court is unlikely to let them fight these battles for very long." Maybe a SCOTUS with a strong Chief Justice might work to resolve this quickly but we have a court led by John Roberts, a man willing to make endless compromises to serve some distorted perception of the court's integrity. Every day this farce plays out weakens the court's credibility and delays urgent changes to the Executive branch to remove corruption and out of control spending. All of this hurts America her citizens, and her institutions. We can thank Roberts for dragging out this dumpster fire being stoked by Leftist judges abusing their authority.

GOP lawmakers are proposing major reforms to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), including work requirements for a vast swathe of eligible participants, the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) has learned. Republican Oklahoma Rep. Josh Brecheen and Utah Sen. Mike Lee will reintroduce the SNAP Reform and Upward Mobility Act (SRUMA) Thursday. The legislation would impose work requirements on food stamp recipients between the ages of 18 and 64, including individuals with children of six years of age or older. Able-bodied adults with no dependents between the ages of 18 and 54 are currently eligible for three months of SNAP benefits over three years before work requirements start to kick in,

Jamie Raskin (D-MD), ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, says hundreds of illegal aliens “should have been afforded the right” to deny that they are associated with the Tren de Aragua or MS-13 gangs before they were deported from the United States by President Donald Trump’s administration. As Breitbart News reported, Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to begin deporting hundreds of illegal alien gang members with Tren de Aragua and the MS-13 gangs, both of which are now designated as terrorist organizations.

Ex-Biden White House staffer Michael LaRosa alleged that former President Joe Biden's staffers made "really unethical" demands of the press in an effort to "bully" reporters into covering the president in a favorable manner. LaRosa, who served as former first lady Jill Biden's press secretary, detailed this alleged bullying campaign to "The Young Turks" host Cenk Uygur on Tuesday. "They did bully a lot of journalists, and I think they would tell you that now. They wouldn’t have told you at the time," LaRosa claimed. The former staffer claimed that Biden's communication team was "very hostile and very suspicious" of journalists under the leadership of Anita Dunn, acting as if they

Republican senators are debuting a measure on Thursday to abolish the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which they say has "intruded into the privacy and personal space" of Americans. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, is leading the bill alongside Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala. "The TSA has not only intruded into the privacy and personal space of most Americans, it has also repeatedly failed tests to find weapons and explosives. Our bill privatizes security functions at American airports under the eye of an Office of Aviation Security Oversight, bringing this bureaucratic behemoth to a welcome end. American families can travel safely without feeling the hands of an army of federal employees,"

Taxpayers spent at least $4.3 billion over a three-year period covering the same Medicaid patients twice, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Medicaid paid health insurance companies for hundreds of thousands of patients who signed up for the program in two or more separate states. This happened when a patient moved to a different state but Medicaid continued paying the insurance company in the state where the resident previously lived. Medicaid is a joint state and federal health insurance program for the poor. Medicaid pays private insurance companies for each person covered. However, a person isn’t supposed to be covered in a state after moving out.

House Republicans are pushing the Trump administration to provide answers about the extent to which the Biden administration broadly paroled immigrants into the United States, asking the Department of Homeland Security to spill details that its former leader refused to divulge. House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) and subcommittee leaders sent a letter to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Wednesday, asking the department to turn over previously subpoenaed documents on how broadly it waved non-U.S. citizens into the country. A copy of the letter was obtained first by the Washington Examiner. “Under the Biden-Harris administration, the Department refused to respond to the Committee’s basic requests for information regarding parole programs, even after

House lawmakers voted to undo energy efficiency standards for commercial refrigerators and freezers finalized during the Biden administration. On Thursday, House lawmakers voted 214 to 193 to overturn the Energy Department’s standards for commercial refrigerators, freezers, and refrigerator-freezers and 203 to 182 to undo the standards for walk-in coolers and freezers. Republicans have long criticized Democrats’ efforts to establish new and stringent energy conservation standards for appliances, arguing they raise costs and limit consumer choice. The two resolutions were passed through the Congressional Review Act, which allows lawmakers to bypass the filibuster and take a simple majority vote in both chambers to cancel regulations.

What’s more, the attacks became so regular that the family would shut off the automatic doggie door of the residence in the U.S. Naval Observatory facility when security was on the spacious grounds. President Donald Trump declared he was withdrawing the nomination, which had already languished for months, to help preserve the House GOP’s razor-thin majority – critical, he said, to enacting his agenda. The president also said he didn’t want to “take a chance” on Stefanik’s open seat in northern New York, which heavily favored Republicans. “The people love Elise and, with her, we have nothing to worry about come Election Day. A divided federal appeals court panel ruled Wednesday that the Trump administration could not immediately use the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to quickly deport suspected members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. The 2-1 ruling was handed down two days after a contentious hearing before the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, in which the Justice Department tried to lift a 14-day stay imposed by DC US District Judge James Boasberg. During the hearing, Judge Patricia Millett harshly questioned the Trump Justice Department about its handling of the deportations — at one point saying, “Nazis got better treatment under the Alien Enemies Act [during World War II] than has happened here.”

New York City's waste reduction efforts will commence a new phase next week, as the city's sanitation agency will begin enforcing a law-mandated composting program with fines. Starting April 1, residents will have to separate food waste from trash or risk receiving a $25 fine from the Department of Sanitation. While mandatory composting became effecting in October 2024, the law passed by City Council established a warning period until April 2025. What are the food separation rules? Sanitation officials say they have deliberately kept the rules simple for residents. All food, yard and food-soiled paper waste must be set out in a bin on recycling day. What should be separated?
