On March 7, I argued in The Federalist that President Donald Trump should ignore a Supreme Court that would allow lower courts to refuse to uphold the Constitution and instead encroach on executive authority. [Snip] They do not check executive power--they seize it, substituting judicial preference for the president’s constitutional role. Article II gives Trump, not judges, authority over federal agencies and the military. [Snip] If Congress will not curb this overreach through impeachment--and with a divided Senate it likely cannot--the president must step in. [Snip] The American people expect Trump to do the job he promised. In an unprecedented fashion, he is doing just that.

It's like 3 farms each with a fence and a no trespassing sign on them. When the Judges cross over that fence like they have, they have to be moved back to the place they belong on.

Unfortunately, if President Trump defied these courts, the dems and the MSM would eviscerate him in the news every night and in many major newspapers. They would spin the truth into unrecognizable cabbage and turn him into Benito Mussolini (which they already are striving to do). In the 2026 congressional election, President Trump and the Republicans would be much more likely to lose the House, perhaps even the Senate. About all we can do is try to encourage the Circuit Courts of Appeal to accept expedited appeals on the issue of jurisdiction and standing. Then move the cases up to the SCOTUS, on an expedited basis, if Roberts can be persuaded to accept that.

Court processes are deliberately slow for careful consideration of the issues. They are NOT meant for dealing with real time governance. This is why court interference with the Executive is proscibed by the Constitution. Other problems with the court process is that it is very costly, and is damaging to the American People who are being impacted by problems not being resolved like illegal aliens committing crimes. It is also destructive to the ELECTED president's ability to manage the government. Further, the law is designed for, applied to, and protects citizens, not non citizens. The law being used to shield illegal immigrants is an abomination. Roberts letting this abuse of power in the courts drag out is destroying the credibility of the judiciary. If the SCOTUS feels that a lower court issue challenging Presidential authority might have some validity, in respect for the President's authority, they should remove any injunctions and hold emergency considerations to resolve the matter, not only if judicial interference is legal but also if the scope of the action was justified. Most of this garbage is likely to get tossed out eventually but considerable damage will be done by waiting for the "normal" process to play out. Further, if Roberts thinks the dems are going to roar back and support him, he is dreaming. He is a disgrace as a Chief Justice and that is how history will remember him.

A DHS official was placed on leave and may have their security clearance revoked for ‘accidentally’ adding a reporter to an email chain about an upcoming ICE raids in greater Denver area. According to NBC News, a DHS worker included a Washington-based reporter in an email chain detailing an upcoming ICE raids back in January. The email did not include classified material, however, the information was still considered sensitive because it detailed time, location and target of raids. The DHS worker called the reporter and told them that they were ‘accidentally’ added to the email. The reporter promised to disclose any information. The raids were conducted without incident, NBC News reported.
