George Foreman, heavyweight boxing icon and business entrepreneur, has died.
He was 76 years old.
The International Boxing Hall of Famer’s family announced the news on his Instagram page on Friday night. “Our hearts are broken,” the caption read on the post. “With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr. who peacefully departed on March 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather, he lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humility, and purpose.”
Born in Marshall, Texas in 1949, Foreman, who admittedly was a bully in his youth

Two students in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, were arrested this week for allegedly beating a high school teacher in what police described as a “synchronized physical attack.”
The incident allegedly occurred at Dillard High School last Thursday when 19-year-olds Jayvis McClover and Roddrick McQueen approached a teacher and began “verbally threatening to attack him,” according to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
“The two, who are both enrolled at Dillard High School, then ‘intentionally launched a synchronized physical attack’ on the teacher,” per CBS News. “McClover and McQueen ‘repeatedly punched the teacher in the face and head with closed fists,’ causing the educator to fall to the ground, police said.”
German luxury auto manufacturer Audi said it is considering moving car production to the United States to avoid tariffs from the Trump administration.

BERLIN - Germany's upper house of parliament on Friday passed a reform of the country's borrowing rules and a 500-billion-euro ($542 billion) fund to revamp its infrastructure and revive Europe's largest economy.
The constitutional amendment to loosen the so-called debt brake also allows for de-facto unlimited spending on defence and security. The upper house of parliament, which represents the 16 German states, passed the bill with the necessary two-thirds majority after Tuesday's vote in the lower house, the Bundestag.

London’s Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest in the world, shut down operations all of Friday — disrupting over 1,000 flights across the globe — after a massive fire at a nearby electrical substation cut off power to the airport.
Flyers are being advised to avoid the airport for the entire day as planes had already begun being diverted away from the British travel hub in the early hours.

One of the busiest airports in the world will be closed all day Friday after a fire caused a power outage.
London Heathrow Airport (LHR) said it is "experiencing a significant power outage" after an electrical substation that supplies the airport caught on fire. "To maintain the safety of our passengers and colleagues, Heathrow will be closed until 23h59 on 21 March," England's premier airport posted on X. Passengers have been told to avoid the airport and to contact their individual airline for further details on new flight times.

President Donald Trump has agreed to rescind an executive order that suspended security clearances for lawyers and staff at the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, according to a statement he posted to Truth Social on Thursday.
