New FBI Director Kash Patel promised “a complete and total annihilation of the weaponization of justice and the politicization of intelligence” when he spoke at a law-and-order event at the Department of Justice on Friday.

The Pentagon has declared the deployment of a Navy warship to enhance security measures along the U.S. Southern border.
Navy warship USS Gravely was deployed to operate in U.S. and international waters on Saturday, assisting “with border security operations.”
“USS Gravely departed from Naval Weapons Station York, [Virginia], for a scheduled deployment to the Gulf of America,” stated Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.
“It’s not only vital for the United States to have control of our border via land. It’s equally important to control our territorial waters, and this deployment directly supports U.S. Northern Command’s mission to protect our sovereignty,” he added.
The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has reported that over 12 million people 120-years-old and older were found to still be listed in the U.S. Social Security database.
On Tuesday, DOGE posted an update on their website, revealing that out of over 12 million individuals aged 120 and up in their records, approximately 3.2 million have now been classified as deceased.
“For the past two weeks, @SocialSecurity has begun a major cleanup of their records,” the announcement said. “Approximately 3.2 million number holders, all listed age 120+, have now been marked as deceased. More work still to be done.”

An executive order from the White House listed the U.S. Agency for Global Media as one of seven government agencies “that the President has determined are unnecessary.”

DENVER (KDVR) — Community members gathered outside the Aurora Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility after a well-known immigration activist was reportedly taken into custody. According to the American Friends Services Committee, a nonprofit that supports immigrant rights, Jeanette Vizguerra was taken into custody by ICE on Monday. The AFSC said “ICE acted without a valid deportation order and without notifying Ms. Vizguerra or her lawyers” when she was taken into custody Monday. The rights group said in a Tuesday press release that it appears ICE is “readying to possibly deport her even though the agency knows they don’t have a valid deportation order.”

Responsible for one of the largest data breaks in the Internal Revenue Service’s history, the ex-IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for leaking the tax documents of roughly 400,000 wealthy Americans — including Trump — to media outlets in 2019 and 2020.
Littlejohn’s short sentence results from the DOJ charging him with only one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax information and then offering a plea deal, which Republicans blasted as too lenient.

The Mexican cartels appear to be smuggling drugs into the U.S. inside cows, according to sources interviewed at the border in Texas and New Mexico last week. The cartels are known to use cattle cars to smuggle drugs, but also seem to be using the cattle themselves as couriers.

Content related to Black and female service members has been removed from Arlington National Cemetery’s website in a supposed attempt to comply with President Donald Trump’s executive orders regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in the federal government.
The New York Times reported that “the graves of Black and female service members have vanished as the Trump administration purges government websites of references to diversity and inclusion.”
The cemetery’s website still had a page discussing Section 27, which includes the graves of former slaves. It also retained a page highlighting important historical Black American figures such as Thurgood Marshall and Colin Powell.
The Departments of the Interior (DOI) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are creating a taskforce to study how federal land could be used to alleviate America’s housing shortage.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and HUD chief Scott Turner announced the partnership between their departments on Monday in a clip posted to social media. The two cabinet secretaries signed an agreement to begin work on tackling “our nation’s housing affordability crisis.”

Congress is investigating two security incidents that allegedly occurred on the days when President Donald Trump made his two most recent speeches at the U.S. Capitol this year, at least one involving a gun and another raising concerns about whether a metal detector was evaded, a House official told Just the News.
