Republican state senator and physician Scott Jensen ran against Tim Walz in the 2022 Minnesota gubernatorial campaign. Having opposed the incredibly arbitrary and destructive one-man rule that Walz imposed during the Covid regime — Walz never wanted it to end — Jensen made an issue of it. Speaking to an enthusiastic audience at a quadrennial event of the Minnesota chapter of the Republican Jewish Coalition, Jensen cited The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and the rise of fascism in Nazi Germany. Walz is absolutely no good. When open, his mouth looks like a cracked pumpkin about to split into two halves.

Fired federal workers in Washington struggling

Federal workers in Washington, fired from their jobs as part of the Trump administration’s ongoing cuts, are being kept from getting unemployment checks, U.S. Sen. Patty Murray said Wednesday during a virtual press conference. “We are hearing from literally hundreds of people … that they got this letter that said they were being fired for poor performance,” Murray said. “That has impacts beyond just the emotional ones you’re hearing and the fact that they’ve lost a job — but in many of those who are trying to collect unemployment, it is hampering them from collecting unemployment.” Three recently laid-off federal workers local to Washington

So CNN’s Jake Tapper and co-author Alex Thompson of Axios and CNN have announced May 20 as the publication date for their book Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and his Disastrous Choice to Run Again. My hunch is that they are still writing the book, but want to pre-empt the field of journalists feverishly cranking out similar “inside stories” of Biden’s disaster right now. Let’s have a look at the pre-publication description: Joe Biden launched his successful 2020 bid for the White House with the stated goal of saving the nation from a second Trump presidential term. He, his family, and his senior aides were so convinced that

MSNBC just canceled “The ReidOut,” the most vicious, nasty, anti-white and pathologically anti-Trump show on air. Host Joy Reid, for five years, unleashed one hateful, often irrational attack after another. It was only after President Donald Trump’s reelection and her ratings plummeting nearly 50% that MSNBC pulled the plug. Here are just some of her greatest hits: “(The courts) are stacked now to essentially suborn our democracy to their very particular version of right-wing evangelical Christ ... That’s no different than Talibanism.” “The goal of the Republican Party today, is it to seize control of every level of government, to lock out voices of color and LGBTQ voices except those

The scandal surrounding the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and its abuse of taxpayer dollars to support causes backed by leftist billionaire George Soros continues to get worse. MRC Business has revealed that USAID gave a $1 million grant to Central European University, a grossly anti-American indoctrination giant founded and financed by none other than Soros himself. The grant’s period began in September of FY 2021 and is set to end in September FY 2025, with $238,609 of the total obligated grant being outlayed so far. To illustrate just how invested Soros is in elevating CEU on the global stage, his Open Society Foundations funneled an ungodly $948,570,000
What Trump can Learn from McKinley's Tariffs 0 replies

If Trump is to be successful as regards tariffs, he must look at President William McKinley’s successes and mistakes. As a young, struggling congressman, William McKinley’s friend President Rutherford Hayes told him to specialize and develop expertise in tariff policy. McKinley's first legislative effort as a congressman was to increase tariffs in 1877. McKinley rose quickly to chair of the Ways and Means Committee. McKinley was instrumental in forming a Tariff Commission and became a framer of the 1882 Tariff Bill. His chairmanship led to the passage of the famous "McKinley" Tariff Act of 1890. The Tariff of 1890 went too far and lacked the appropriate guardrails to

German police are investigating a violent attack at Kusel train station, where a mother and her eight-month-old baby were reportedly forcibly thrown out of a train carriage by a group of migrants. According to initial reports, the baby fell out of the stroller face down onto the ground after being ejected from the train. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with passengers reacting in shock. Authorities have confirmed that the mother and child received medical attention following the incident, though the extent of their injuries remains unclear. German federal police have launched an urgent manhunt for the suspects responsible. A spokesperson for the police confirmed that

Have you noticed that the Democratic playbook hasn't changed in decades? For years, their attacks on Republicans haven’t changed. It’s always the same lines. “Republicans are for tax cuts for the rich!” “Republicans want to destroy Social Security!” “Republicans want to take away healthcare!” and so on. After these narratives have never actually proven true in generations, you would think the Democrats would try something new. But the broken record keeps spinning. After Speaker Mike Johnson secured a narrow victory (217-213) to pass the budget resolution this week, Democrats immediately launched their predictable fear campaign, accusing Republicans of gutting Medicaid. Does the budget resolution gut Medicaid? No.

Nine months after Thomas Matthew Crooks fired eight shots at President Trump during a rally in Butler, Pa., we're still being kept in the dark about what really happened. And if you think we're getting the full story from the FBI, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you because something isn’t adding up. Crooks is described by those who knew him as a "seemingly mild-mannered" 20-year-old with nearly straight A's throughout school and an impressive 1530 SAT score. Somehow, he transformed into an assassin on July 13, 2024. Yet, unlike most mass shooters, he left no manifesto explaining his actions. Trump miraculously survived with only an ear wound.

Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed Thursday that “thousands of pages” of documents in the FBI’s investigation into the sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were withheld from her. And she’s demanding that they be turned over by Friday morning. Bondi, 59, disclosed in a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel a tipster said that all but “approximately 200 pages of documents” were still being kept secret at the FBI’s office in New York — despite her after repeated requests for the “full” Epstein files. The initial batch included flight logs, phone numbers and the names of victims, but a source in the FBI’s New York office reached out and said that hundreds

When Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) went to the steakhouse at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C. Monday night to dine with (alleged) lobbyists he was a little too loose-lipped, and sadly for him conservative journalist Nick Sortor was seated at the table next to him and heard it all. In fact, Sortor says Swalwell "invaded" his table while he was "inebriated at dinner," and promised a video recap. Sortor says he has audio of the conversation, but he hasn't yet released it. (Presumably, he's getting legal advice) He did, however, release a summary of what Swalwell said and a video of him confronting Swalwell as the group exited the restaurant.
