FEMA Director Deanne Criswell departed the agency on Monday as President Trump’s new administration began. Criswell has faced strong criticism in response to how the agency has handled recent hurricanes. Criswell oversaw the government’s response to numerous major hurricanes, the Maui fires and the recent Los Angeles County fires. “It has been an honor serving as [FEMA] Administrator for nearly four years. The FEMA family takes immense pride in our mission of helping people before, during and after disasters. I know the agency will continue to serve the nation as we support this peaceful transition of power,” Criswell wrote on X.

It's nice that Biden's leftovers, unlike The Terminator, CAN self terminate. It's too bad we can't lower them into a vat of molten metal to finish the job.

Republican strategist Scott Jennings told a CNN panel Monday that many Black Lives Matter rioters avoided punishment in 2020 after liberal commentators complained about pardons President Donald Trump issued to participants of the riot at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump issued a blanket pardon Monday to more than 1,500 people convicted of crimes surrounding the storming of the Capitol building during the certification of the electoral votes on Jan. 6, 2021. Jennings reminded former Obama administration officials David Axelrod and Van Jones, who claimed the Jan. 6 rioters received insufficient punishment, that many of the participants in the Capitol riot had their lives “ruined,” but

The man who was previously photographed with would-be assassin Ryan Routh and later honored by Joe Biden with the Presidential Medal of Freedom has released a statement following his firing by former President Donald Trump. As Cullen Linebarger reported earlier, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social early Tuesday morning to announce the termination of the first four individuals from his predecessor’s administration upon taking office. The firings, executed in signature “Apprentice-style” fashion, come as no surprise to conservatives, particularly one certain infamous general.

By any measure, 2024 was not a good year to be a Democrat. You had Joe Biden's dementia that you had tried so hard to cover up exposed during a presidential debate. Then, Nancy Pelosi tried to help you and shivved Joe Biden out the door. Then your replacement candidate, who would have been so many "firsts," turned out to be a word salad aficionado, often making Joe Biden look coherent. Finally, when you tried gaslighting the American people on a scale never before seen and insisted that they go along with your crazy ideas, they rejected you wholeheartedly. Yep, it was not a good year.

In a bold move signaling his commitment to holding the intelligence community accountable, President Donald Trump revoked the security clearances of 51 former intelligence officials who signed a controversial letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation. The letter surfaced weeks before the 2020 election and was widely criticized after evidence from the laptop was verified, raising questions about the intelligence officials' credibility. Trump’s decision to strip their security clearances comes amid growing concerns over political bias within the intelligence agencies and his determination to ensure integrity and transparency within national security operations.

President Donald Trump briefly reacted to the woke Episcopal priestess who delivered remarks at the National Prayer Service, using the opportunity to assert that many LGBTQ people — including children — “fear for their lives.” Reporters caught up with Trump as he returned to the White House, asking the president what he thought of the service. “What did you think?” Trump asked back. “Did you like it? Did you find it exciting? Not too exciting, was it?” (X Video) The question came after an anti-Trump Episcopal bishop of Washington, DC, — Mariann Budde — used her platform at the National Prayer Service to go on a woke rant,

The commonwealth is a moderate, purple state, and Fetterman is something of a moderate senator, especially on certain issues. Does that mean he'll join the Republican Party, though? Don't count on it. On Monday night, there was chatter that a Democratic senator might be switching his or her party affiliation to Republican "by next week." (X)

Yet, as Thune pointed out, perhaps Democrats should be more upset with former President Joe Biden for paving the way for this move. While answering questions from reporters on Capitol Hill, Thune addressed the issue directly.

As we all knew would happen, Biden’s last act was to pardon every bad actor in his administration. This is hypocritical, to say the least, given his government’s vindictive pursuit of everyone in the Trump administration, including Trump himself. However, even worse than that, it sets a dangerous precedent that can destroy the American Constitution—and no, I’m not exaggerating. All of Joe Biden's preemptive pardons for the worst political malefactors in recent years are an insult to the rule of law, but one in particular sticks in my craw: Mark Milley. Why? I expect bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci to be ass-covering snakes with a lust for power and disdain for accountability, and I am confident that he will burn in hell and be remembered as the mass murderer that he is. I expect politicians like Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and the sc*mbags of the January 6th Committee to be liars who would sacrifice their souls for an extra minute on TV and an additional campaign dollar.

The president said he pardoned his brother and other relatives − his sister Sara Jones Biden, his sister Valerie Biden Owens and her husband John Owens, and another brother, Francis Biden − because of concerns about "baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families," he said in a statement released minutes before the end of his term.

A Presidential Pardon does not take effect unless the suspect accepts it. That according to a little known, 1915 ruling from the Supreme Court, once accepted, the pardon serves as an “imputation of guilt,” or what’s more commonly known as an admission. Because accepting the pardon is “essential to it’s validity,” I am demanding the Biden family, Dr. Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, the members of the J6 Committee and everyone else Biden unsurprisingly pardoned declare their acceptance of the pardon publicly. Because, according to the Supreme Court, it would also serve as a declaration of guilt.
