This is Not Your Grandpa's Democrat Party

Original Article

The Democrat Party of my youth was pro-labor, pro-God, pro-family and pro-America. The Democrat Party of today bears little resemblance to that party. Too often, today’s Democrat Party uses dangerous, violent rhetoric to attack others, weaponizes the power of government against political opposition and pushes radical, extremist leftist ideologies. A closer look at today’s Democrat party is in order: The modern Democrat Party uses State and Federal law enforcement to overtly and blatantly attack its political opponents. These attacks are not limited to President Trump or the Trump Organization, though he is a frequent target.

Unless Daniel R. Street is about 200 years old, he is deluded about the Democrat Party being "pro-God, pro-family and pro-America" in his youth.

The federal prosecutors specially appointed to persecute (not prosecute, but persecute) President Trump are under investigation for potential misconduct of their own. The Fake News Media, however, is too busy promoting and defending the Special Counsel, and lying about President Trump, to report on it. Here is what we know. As you undoubtedly know, on November 18, 2022 Biden Regime U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith as Special Counsel to investigate President Donald J. Trump. The efforts of Jack Smith and his team of prosecutors lead to two separate federal indictments of President Trump...

The dust was yet to settle from President Donald J. Trump’s historic win in the 2024 Presidential Election before news began circulating about the potential need for “recess appointments” during Trump’s second term of office. What brought the issue to the forefront so quickly was the GOP winning enough seats in the elections to take control of the US Senate and the need to select a new GOP Senate Majority Leader. The vote on the new GOP Senate Leadership was held on November 13, 2024.

The Safeway Food Store in the Filmore District of San Francisco has been beset with shoplifters and other criminal activity for years. The company finally decided in December that it had enough and was closing the doors of the store for good. George Gibbs, a long-time shopper at the store, acknowledges the problems. "I've seen people running out the door with stuff and running across the parking lot," he said. "I've seen folks walk out in handcuffs for stealing something." Black Lives Matter activists are now demanding that the store stay open or that another low-cost food store take its place.

President Joe Biden on Jan. 17 announced he has ratified the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), despite the U.S. archivist recently saying the president could not ratify the constitutional amendment.(snip) The U.S. archivist and U.S. deputy archivist said in late 2024 that the president could not ratify the amendment because the amendment did not receive the required support from three-fourths of the states by the deadline Congress imposed, which was June 30, 1982. The US Treasury Department will start taking "extraordinary measures" next week to avoid risking a default on government debt, Secretary Janet Yellen said Friday, days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. With the government reaching its borrowing limit, the department would start making the moves on Tuesday, the day after the inauguration, Yellen said in a letter to congressional leaders. That will mean Trump's administration has to grapple immediately with the issue of the debt ceiling. In the past, Congress has routinely voted to lift this bar, but that tool has become a contentious issue, with Republican budget hawks calling for drastic spending reductions instead.
