ATLANTA, Ga. - Over a year ago when former President Jimmy Carter entered hospice care, President Joe Biden said he planned to deliver the eulogy at the funeral. “He asked me to do his eulogy,” Biden said, before stopping himself from saying more. “Excuse me, I shouldn’t say that.” Carter’s death was announced Sunday, and it’s not clear whether Biden’s plans are the same as when he announced them. “I spent time with Jimmy Carter and it’s finally caught up with him, but they found a way to keep him going for a lot longer than they anticipated because they

I am sure his handlers will stop him. He will attend, of course, but I don't think he could give any kind of eulogy. Better to just put out some story that he is suffering from a sore throat etc. He is just not up to it and it could be embarrassing.

Well when Biden gave the world his remarks regarding the death of 100 year old Jimmy Carter, as usual Biden tried to make his remarks about himself and members of his family, by repeatedly bringing up himself and members of his family throughout his remarks. No doubt Carter was a decent man and a big time “do-gooder” grounded by his religion throughout his long life, as was his prerogative. But as history has shown, it takes more than being a decent man to make a good US President and so-called leader of the free world who must deal with all sorts of nasty foreign leaders and situations. If Carter was such a great President, why wasn’t he re-elected?

I'm thinking Biden can probably do as well with Carter's eulogy as Carter could now do with Joe's.

It would be Biden-esque to claim credit for persuading Jimmy to run for President, in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised if autopilot brought out a "Jim Pop" or two.

I've got a Cliffs Notes eulogy for FJB: "Today we note the passing of James Earl Carter, 39th President of the United States and arguably the 2nd worst president in the history of the country... Yours truly gets first billing for that feat... Sorry Jimmuh!"

I can hear it now.....
"And Jimmah was a great man and mumberfraly dihbimfra! And that's not a joke. I remumble the many times we rode the Amtrak together from Peanut to DC, or somewhere, I think.1. And I helped him build dozens of Hobbitats for Humininity, we built them together with our own hands, except for Hunter.
And I clearly remember how I helped guide him as the best president until my term, not a joke. And mumfrtey brttimerwis.......ya know, the thing, the THING!"
And he shakes hands with the invisible man again, then wanders off stage, slack jawed and blank.

Biden's eulogy will be "I love you. Stand up Jimmy. Oops."

If Biden’s remarks of Sunday night are any indication of his current mental state they would be well advised not to have him speak at the Carter ceremonies. He was in a complete fog and could barely read the teleprompter. Apparently they didn’t even pack a dress shirt for him- he wore a blue sports shirt with his suit.

Jimmy was a wet noodle, but maybe his heirs will grow a spine and tell Joe he can only attend if he sits down and shuts up.
Sure, they will. They'll be steamrollered into turning this into a typical Dem politician funeral... ie, a circus.

“He asked me to do his eulogy,”
Well that would certainly solidify on video in front everyone for all posterity that Jimmy was indeed NOT the worst president of the last 150 years.

Biden is the perfect person for the eulogy for Jimmy. Carter had a lock on the title of "worst President, but Joe ripped that away from him.
God let Jimmy live long enough to know that he would not carry that label to the grave.Joe wins by a landslide! God has a sense of humor with this.

Methinks Jimmy's family will ask Bill Clinton to do the honors, sparing Biden from making a shambles of the funeral.

One prays this happens. How appropriate for a deleted incompetent jerk like Diaper Joe deliver (and we know it will be screwed up and about Diaper Joe, not Jimmah) the incompetent and mastermind of Jihadist terrorism Jimmah Carter's eulogy. I can't think of one decent thing about this vile viscous nincompoop that Diaper Joe could utter. And that';s fine cause Diaper Joe himself is a vile, viscous n nincompoop.

FJB isn't capable of delivering a eulogy, so Beelzebubba the Bullfrog it shall be. As for Carter's alleged decency, you should read what his Secret Service minders had to say about him. They despised him. Just a bad fellow all around. No halo over him.

I recall one story about Carter carrying his own suitcase (trying to be the common man, you know). Turns out the suitcase was nothing more than an empty prop.

The only thing better for that anti-semite, Ayatollah enabling, money printing peanut farmer in the way of an eulogy would be to have Camela Harris deliver it. Sure, put Joe on. Let America see him again. For what he is.

#23, Bill finally gets a chance to be in the spotlight.again and, (expletive!) he is in the hospital. Hillary is noways hard, so if she can find an XXXL funeral dress, she can do the eulogy. Of course, there is the SPOTUS shadow president Obama who can put on his folksy accent. And if they are going full Wellstone, Obama can pull the strings on George Clooney for a moving tribute. Maybe Amy will introduce Michelle and she can go all nuclear on them ( pardon the mix of cultural references).

Joe-Pop should focus on his own eulogy. He was a rambling mess today - took 3 hours to get him prepped for the cameras. He had to drag Beau into the tribute for Carter, kept making thinly veiled references to the recent election, and then blurted out his plans to give the eulogy.
