An illegal alien accused of causing the crash that killed 12-year-old Travis Wolfe in Hazelwood, Missouri, last year is now out of jail without paying any bail.
Endrina Bracho, an illegal alien from Venezuela, was charged in March with one count of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of child endangerment, and one count of driving without a license after allegedly causing a December 2023 crash that left Wolfe dead and his parents, Timothy and Stephanie Wolfe, injured.

It's a Wonderful Life fans have expressed outrage that Amazon Prime cut a crucial scene from the beloved Christmas classic.
An abridged version of the 1946 film has been edited to leave out a scene that many consider the most important in the movie, which follows the character of businessman George Bailey as he considers taking his own life.
The scene in question, known as the 'Pottersville scene,' sees George wish that he had never been born before his guardian angel reminds him that he needs to earn 'his angel wings.'In the original version of the movie, George tells the angel that he believes he is worth more dead than alive.

Some fans were shocked upon seeing the unhinged, anti-Trump diatribe delivered by Star Wars star Mark Hamill who went into a spittle-specked rage over Trump while defiantly claiming he does not care how many fans he upsets with his hate for the President-elect.
Hamill cemented himself into pop culture fame with his role as Like Skywalker in Star Wars and later as the voice of Batman’s The Joker in a series of hit animated movies. But in his interview on a recent episode of the Politickin Podcast hosted by extremist Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom, Hamill seemed more like a crazed Joker than a serene

You know them. They were in your living room and part of your family conversations every night, especially during those 60-second breaks.
Before America was siloed into warring tribes by ratings-hungry cable TV and, later, by click-hungry internet sites, these men defined fatherhood for two generations. They were uncool before uncool was cool.
I’m aware this isn’t Fathers Day, other than in a specific religious sense. But Christmas always bring back family memories for me, particularly of my dad, which gets me thinking about the role of dads everywhere.

A mysterious shadow super PAC that emerged late in the 2024 cycle and was suspected of working to sabotage Republicans in tight races by propping up third-party hopefuls has been hit with multiple complaints.

During the 2024 presidential election cycle the Republican Party, led by President-elect Donald Trump, made major inroads into voting demographics typically dominated by Democrats. Trump made historic gains with Asian, Latino, African-American, working class and young voters, busting through the Democratic Party's typical coalition.
"Donald Trump reshaped the U.S. electorate once again this year, piling up support among Hispanic voters, young people, and Americans without college degrees -- and winning more votes in nearly all of the country as he reclaimed the presidency," (Snip) Now, the GOP is welcoming two high profile elected officials as new members:

When the London Times published a late November report claiming that Donald Trump plans to “kick transgender troops out of the military,” leftist groups and media outlets clamored against the idea, warning that an estimated 15,000 transgender troops would be impacted. There’s no evidence this figure is even close to accurate.
That startlingly high figure of 15,000 trans-identifying troops has been pushed, without sourcing, by major news outlets including the London Times, Military.com, and Newsweek. Rachel Branaman, a spokeswoman for the pro-LGBTQ Modern Military Association of America, used the number to suggest that any future Trump administration action to remove these troops would imperil the country’s war-fighting ability

My initial thought? It’s about darn time, and I want to be reimbursed NOW. (I myself had no idea that on top of his outrageous “highest-ever” federal pension, he was receiving private security on my dime.) Per Raasch:
Dr. Fauci, who has an estimated $11 million net worth, was constantly surrounded by U.S. Marshals at the time whether he was at home or going to TV studios to film interviews.

As one of his last acts as the occupant of the Oval Office, President Joe Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates Monday, including child murderers, rapists and cop killers. The demise of “Woke” has been greatly exaggerated. Russia scrambled to shoot down claims that exiled dictator Bashar al-Assad’s London-born wife Asma filed for divorce and wants to leave with her children to the UK.
Turkish media dropped a bombshell report on Saturday that Asma al-Assad, 49, was fed up with her asylum in Russia and wanted to build a new life in London. The report claimed she filed for divorce just two weeks after her family fled Syria ahead of a rebel advance into Damascus.
The report suggested Asma was fed up with Russian restrictions that confine her and her three children to the city of Moscow, and that she wanted access to top-quality treatment as she fights leukemia.

An unexpected development following President-elect Trump’s electoral victory last month is the uncharacteristic calm from the normally fire-breathing Democrats who got trounced by the man they swore was Hitler incarnate.
Amazon — founded by Jeff Bezos — and billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta just donated $1 million each for Trump to have an inauguration party and … nothing. Not a sound from scores of workers at either company who would typically resign, write open letters denouncing their employer, or otherwise whine anonymously to the New York Times or Bezos’ own newspaper, the Washington Post. That’s pretty much been the case nationwide, too.

For several years now, Hobby Lobby’s Christmas marketing campaign has used the theme: “Christmas is what you make it.” Commercials depict warm and heart-tugging vignettes of individuals, in one way or another, sharing some Christmas joy with someone else:
I must admit, the commercial above brought a lump to my throat: An older, happily married couple observes two young, lonely singles that need a little push to get to know each other. The older couple takes steps to make it happen. The young couple meets and decorates a tree together (with Hobby Lobby decorations, of course!). What’s not to love?

The United States Postal Service is bleeding red ink. America’s mail carrier lost an astounding $9.5 billion in fiscal 2024 and expects to lose an additional $60 billion to $70 billion by 2030. It certainly hasn’t helped that the agency is spending $9.6 billion on a vehicle procurement plan that includes 66,000 electric vehicles. These vehicles are two to three times more expensive than their conventional counterparts, but that has somehow not deterred the USPS. Agency leadership has even convinced Congress to spend $3 billion of taxpayer money on this nonsensical “deal.”

The latest illegal-migrant atrocity should remove any doubt: It’s beyond time to end sanctuary-city policies in New York. The appalling heinousness of that atrocity is simply unimaginable, even by Gotham standards. Police say Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, a Guatemalan illegal migrant, set a sleeping woman ablaze aboard an F train at the Coney Island station, then watched in satisfaction as she burned alive. A medieval level of savagery — and a predictably sick outcome of woefully misguided policies that have made the city a haven for border jumpers.

Recently, I was asked what I thought was the seminal event in the first quarter of the 21st Century. The past twenty-five years, beginning in January of 2000, have been fraught with wars, terrorism, religious persecution, natural disasters, political intrigue, and financial instability. Yet nothing compares to the impact, both short and long-term, of the global elites’ malevolent exploitation of the COVID-19 pandemic to permanently embed an authoritarian international world order.
The politically motivated and unprecedented overreaction to a virus with a 99.5% survival rate was launched in March 2020, unleashing what can best be described as a once-in-a-century fiasco.

[T]rying to reach a grand bargain with China — what [Trump] was hinting at — would be exactly the wrong approach at this or any other moment.
Trump has already tried to reach an accommodation with China: his Phase One Trade pact of January 2020. He calls it "the best trade deal" ever, but it is now widely viewed as a bust. The Chinese, during an election year in America, never honored its terms.
[Chinese President Xi Jinping's] actions are the inevitable result of China's communist political system, which idealizes violence, struggle, and domination. This system means there can be no accommodation with the Communist Party.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) commended President Biden Monday for commuting the sentences of 37 federal inmates on death row, arguing that capital punishment is “racist.”
“There is no action more powerful or righteous than sparing someone’s life, and today President Biden is doing just that,” the member of the far-left “Squad” of liberal lawmakers said in a statement.
Pressley, 50, described the 82-year-old commander in chief’s decision to spare dozens of convicted murderers and rapists from death as a “historic and groundbreaking act of compassion that will save lives, address the deep racial disparities in our criminal legal system, and send a powerful message about redemption, decency, and humanity.”
