Trump threatens primary challenges against
Chip Roy: ‘Republican obstructionists’

Original Article

President-elect Donald Trump blasted Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) for “getting in the way” of Trump’s wish to raise the debt ceiling as House Republicans scramble to keep the government open. “The very unpopular ‘Congressman’ from Texas, Chip Roy, is getting in the way, as usual, of having yet another Great Republican Victory — All for the sake of some cheap publicity for himself. Republican obstructionists have to be done away with,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Thursday.

Comments:

So Roy wants to cut or hold spending where it is and Trump has an issue with this? 4 more years of "Well get 'em on the next budget." I guess?

Didn't Chip Roy just see... when DJT speaks... that settles the issue??? Talk about tone deaf... right now (that could change in a few months, but not now)... EVERYTHING that Donald Trump wants, Donald Trump gets!!! All his nominees... and yes, this bill too... He wanted the debt ceiling moved... so move it... he wanted farmers and hurricane sufferers fund... SO FUND THEM. Every single republican... for the love of God... for once; try what the democrats have learned... get on board with the program... 100%... and, if you have an issue, take it up with Trump in a backroom and then come out and vote like he wants! It's time for us to act smart, for a change! Bet off your political "high horse" and be a team player! This is politics 101, especially in the view that President Trump has a mandate!

We love Chip Roy in Texas. Either the article is twisting facts or Trump has to get over being butt hurt about old endorsements.

I'm confused. Why not shut down the government and stop this mess once and for all? Balance the budget in the allotted time and quit the crap. Don't give these clowns more money to misspend. Shouldn't farmer funding and hurricane relief be already allotted and spent? This kind of crap only happens in government. We don't need a debt ceiling date even if it is two years out. Let's have a debt reduction cadence instead.

#2 needs to do his homework and not speak for all Texans. This jack donkey (i.e., Chip Roy) was 100% in favor of the attacks against Ken Paxton and fully supported the lawsuit against him. He's a Bushy and a RINO. Trump is right: We can do A LOT better than Chip!

I think chip is having a tantrum because Trump called him out today. Tim Burchett, TN just came out and said he voted against it because 1) He get to read it himself and 2) it has 100 billion dollars that has to be spent on the next month by the current administration and he doesn’t trust biden and the rats I recently discovered Congressman Burchett and he seems like the real deal.

Chip needs to get his act together and go with President Trump's directives. I don't trust him. He was dumb enough to support DeSantis, and he obviously has a hard on for Trump. That ain't helpful to the cause, Chippy.

Okay - hurricane relief. sorry but all FEMA is going to do now is hand out tax payer funded loans or grants to hurricane victims. I grew up n S. Florida and for decades, the west coast of Florida was spared but nature caught up with them. Hurricane relief for people in the mountains of western NC only as living in tents in the mountains in winter sucks as opposed to not having AC in the winter in Florida.

A radical, leftist judge was just handed a lifetime appointment to the 11th Circuit, and Republicans have no one to blame but themselves. As RedState recently reported, Judge Embry Kidd's nomination to the 11th Circuit was set to be voted on by the full Senate chamber Monday night. We'll cut to the chase — Embry was approved by a vote of 49-45, but here's the kicker: Five Republicans didn't show up for the vote.

So who won the Reedy Creek War? We can expect all sides to remain cagey about the details while declaring wins, but only one side truly needed this to get set aside in the short run. And that side doesn't work in Jacksonville.

America’s greatest presidents were sometimes treated like punching bags in office — insulted and vilified by opponents. President Biden has endured the same undeserved treatment. But I expect that, like other great presidents, history will judge him more accurately. Biden has been a historically transformative president. His landmark domestic accomplishments are comparable to Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal and Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society. A 2023 survey of 154 political scientists and other presidential experts ranked Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and George Washington as America’s three greatest presidents, in that order. Biden ranked No. 14. Donald Trump, who will become president again

The White House tried to hide from the public Joe Biden's rapidly diminishing mental condition for his entire presidency, according to a bombshell report. Biden's team hired a vocal coach, put other officials into roles usually occupied by the president, scrapped meetings on his 'bad days,' and avoided calls with other politicians, according to an explosive report in The Wall Street Journal. It exposed an extensive, deliberate and years-long cover-up that also saw the administration gaslighting those who dared to claim Biden's abilities had deteriorated since he was Barack Obama's vice president.

The NYPD’s highest-paid employee — who shoveled in more than $400,000 last year — filed for retirement this week and then was suspended amid an internal affairs probe into her astronomical overtime, The Post has learned. Lt. Quathisha Epps will retire just shy of 20 years with the department, sources said — an early exit that will impact her pension and cost her a $12,000-a-year supplement for cops who reach the two-decade mark. Leaving money on the table is seemingly uncharacteristic for Epps, who raised eyebrows by pulling in roughly $204,000 in overtime last year for her administrative job in NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey’s office, payroll records show.

Former CNN political analyst Chris Cillizza expressed remorse Thursday for not investigating concerns about President Joe Biden’s mental and physical health sooner. Corporate media spent years downplaying voters’ and Republicans’ concerns about Biden’s mental acuity before his June debate against then-former President Donald Trump. Cillizza, on his YouTube channel, acknowledged he was wrong to overlook those concerns during his tenure at CNN. “As a reporter, I have a confession to make: I should have pushed harder earlier for more information about Joe Biden’s mental and physical well-being and any signs of decline. So let me explain.

In a recent House vote, 38 Republican lawmakers opposed a continuing resolution endorsed by President-elect Donald Trump, aimed at preventing a government shutdown and advancing the ‘America First’ agenda. Earlier on Thursday, President Trump described the new government funding bill as “VITAL to the America First Agenda” and called on all Republicans to vote in favor. Trump wrote: SUCCESS in Washington! Speaker Mike Johnson and the House have come to a very good Deal for the American People. The newly agreed to American Relief Act of 2024 will keep the Government open, fund our Great Farmers and others,

MSNBC’s Joy Reid and Stephanie Ruhle will reportedly need to take a pay cut if they want to remain in their anchor chairs as the struggling cable network continues to cut costs. The controversial Reid is believed to be earning $3 million a year to host her nightly 8 p.m. show, “The ReidOut,” according to the Washington Free Beacon. The Wall Street Journal has an article delving into the efforts to cover up Biden’s mental state. But the article raises as many questions as it answers. I won’t dwell on the umpteenth revelations that Biden had bad days, that he had trouble remembering lines or figuring out where he was supposed to go. While preparing last year for his interview with Robert K. Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden’s handling of classified documents, the president couldn’t recall lines that his team discussed with him. At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person…

The knives have come out — and so has the truth. Having been lied to for years by the Democratic Party machine and most of the legacy media — who insisted Joe Biden was not diminished by his age but energized by it — well, it turns out we skeptics were right all along. And what we're learning is terrifying. Infuriating. An unacceptable abuse of power, a usurpation of the presidency itself by a nameless, faceless cohort. Will we ever know who these conspirators are? Two bombshell reports out this week, in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, depict a president thoroughly out to lunch for his entire term:

Do people on the radical left demonstrate a mental disorder? Most people on the right roll their eyes at the hysteria and fears of the left, but what’s to be done? Given that there were major shifts on the left in the 2024 election, is it possible that somehow sanity is breaking through? With the ongoing polarization that has burdened this country, it’s worthwhile to examine the psychological framework of leftists; both how they see themselves and how they see others. The results may also indicate whether the changes in voting behavior might continue, or whether they were situational. A phrase that’s been coined is “Left-Wing Authoritarianism” (LWA)
