Bidenflation Is Still Exploding Food Prices

Original Article

We’ve been told for four years that inflation will soon stabilize and disappear thanks to Joe Biden’s awesome stewardship of the economy, and yet… “Wholesale prices for chicken eggs soared by nearly 55% last month, and wholesale food prices rose by 3.1% (their highest monthly increase in two years),” reports far-left CNN. Ahh, and because a Democrat is in office, we are then immediately told… Economists say not to panic. The “egg-flation” and sudden price hikes in some major food categories are reflections of isolated incidents rather than something systemic and indicative of a reacceleration of inflation. Economists always tell us not to worry when a Democrat is president.

The cheapest eggs yesterday were $3.59, many were over $5. I bought butter, making cookies to send to family for Christmas gifts. Store brand butter was $5.29. Traitor Joe, destroying the economy, with the EPA leading the charge to make EVERYTHING impossible make or grow at a reasonable price - without any actual impact on making air or water cleaner.

In the 90's when my kids were teenagers I used to double over in pain at a $200 grocery bill. Mrs C and I just went to the store yesterday and it was $350 for just us. I've found ways to economize a little, like getting eggs from a local farmer and getting store brand sodey pop thats always on sale, but overall it is a nightmare. I cant even imagine how large families with average incomes do it. Makes me want to dig out my magic Whip Inflation Now pin.

I used to have 2 eggs, fried, scrambled, whatever, and a piece of toast every morning. Now, I have 1 egg, 3, maybe , 4 times a week to cut back, consuming 4 eggs per week vs 14. I also boil the egg instead of fry, and often skip the toast, which cuts back 2 pats of butter each time.

I last bought eggs at Walmart a couple of weeks ago. A dozen of jumbo size was $6.93. Everything you look at has doubled in price. Copy paper is $5.97, used to be $2.97.

My Mom taught me to count the number of paper bags and multiply by $5. 2 bags x 5 = $10. That was how much we spent. Now, (plus the bags are smaller,) I'm multiplying by $40, $50 if I buy meat.

#1, you must not shop at Publix! Butter there is over $7.00! Miracle Whip is over $8 a Jar! A box of Cereal is over $8 (depending on what you like)! We switched shopping there, for the most part, and now get a lot of our Groceries at Aldi! Publix is much closer for us, but it's crazy to pay those prices when Butter at Aldi is every bit as good as Land of Lakes at Publix!

California and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) are planning to repeal the 2023 call for a national constitutional convention, given Donald Trump’s recent victory and the possibility of Republicans proposing their own new amendments. As Breitbart News reported last June, Newsom called for a constitutional convention to propose amendments to limit the Second Amendment, such as setting a minimum age of 21 for gun possession, and universal background checks. But there were political obstacles, as Breitbart News noted: [S]ince a two-thirds vote of Congress is generally required to launch the process of amending the Constitution, it is unclear how Newsom intends to begin if, as he says, Congress is responsible for inaction.

President Joe Biden appears to be struggling with the prospect of retiring from public life, according to a New York Times report published Tuesday. After Democrats ousted him as their presidential candidate in July, Biden, 82, who has been a public official since 1973 (51 years), is not enjoying the prospects of sunsetting his over half a century long career at the center of American politics, the NYT’s Peter Baker and Zolan Kanno-Youngs reported. Biden reportedly told allies after he dropped out of the race that he was bored, moody, and angry. He’s apparently angry because many Democrats opposed his pardon of his son.

Congressional leadership slipped a provision into the stopgap spending bill that would bar or stymie investigations into Congress. Tucked within the stopgap spending bill is a provision that has enflamed controversy amongst many conservatives on and off Capitol Hill. The provision, titled “Treatment of electronic services provided for House offices,” sounds vague but could could stop or limit investigations into Congress. Part of the section states: Upon a motion made promptly by a House office or provider for a House office, a court of competent jurisdiction shall quash or modify any legal process

Still, I'm not so sure that should apply to Democrats who are finally admitting the obvious about Joe Biden: He clearly could not have served another four years as President of the United States. Since his thwarted assassination attempt against President-elect Donald Trump on September 15, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Ryan Routh has been held in federal custody, where he faces charges of attempted assassination and assaulting a federal officer in addition to firearms charges. His trial is currently set to begin in February, though Routh has requested a continuance of the matter, and we await Judge Aileen Cannon's ruling on that request. That the matter — involving the attempted assassination of a former and future president — is being handled via the federal system makes sense. However, it does not remain solely within the feds' purview.

He asked for unanimous consent to pass the Saving the Civil Service Act, warning about “attempts in recent years to erode the independence of the federal civil service,” a reference to efforts President-elect Trump made in his first term.

On the eve of former President Donald Trump's return to power, a new report is turning the story of the 2021 Capitol incursion on its head. For four years, a Democratic-run "select" committee on Jan. 6, anti-Trump Republicans, and the establishment media have blamed Trump for the violence in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, but the report released Tuesday accused Trump's acting defense secretary at the time, Christopher Miller, of defying Trump's specific orders. President-elect Donald Trump’s most striking characteristics today are clarity, confidence, and calm. This is extraordinary in a man renowned for chaos, confusion, and the thin-skinned hurling of demeaning insults. But it is a truth that needs to be acknowledged and accounted for to understand what we are witnessing as Trump prepares to resume the presidency. His press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Dec. 16 revealed a man almost preternaturally at ease with himself, his mission, his domestic support, and his acceptance abroad. His tone was measured, even somewhat humble, despite some bragging. When he dismissed questions, as he justifiably did once or twice, it was not done angrily
