Wright Patterson Air Force Base had to close its airspace late Friday night and early Saturday morning because of drones flying in the area, reports say. Robert Purtiman, a spokesman for Wright Patterson, confirmed to WCPO Channel 9 that the drones first were spotted near the air base late Friday night. The incident comes as concerns build over repeated sightings of drones in New Jersey and New York. “To date, installation leadership has determined none of the incursions impacted base residents, facilities or assets,” Purtiman tells WHIO Channel 7. Airspace around the military base base blocked for about four hours because of the drone sightings, WHIO reports.

Has everyone gone nuts or did someone spend a fortune at Drones R Us? Only useful suggestion I can give is don't point a laser at one. If it turns out to be a plane and you are detected you'll be making license plates. Kind of bothers me. When using a telescope to look at celestial objects I like to use a laser pointer. It's neat looking at that green light beam going into the sky. Hope it never finds a plane.

If foreign drones or aircraft were to provoke an attack, we need to be sure our defensive technologies would work the way they're supposed to. That requires testing and that's what's happening right now. The government wants us to stay focused on the drones themselves, not the technology that could DETECT the drones or other aircraft . That's what's being tested. All this nonsensical parsing is just the government's attempt to keep us focussed on the drones and not our defensive capabilities--- as in Look, a squirrel.

Start shooting them down. I think that if I were a pilot of an A-10 'Warthog', being allowed to go after these things would be more fun than a video game.

The A-10 is an air-to-ground fighter, not air-to-air. F-16 would be a better choice.

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos is said to be 'apoplectic' and 'humiliated' following the network's decision to pay $16 million to settle a defamation lawsuit between ABC and Donald Trump. The settlement, which includes $15 million towards a presidential foundation and $1 million for Trump's legal fees, has sparked a firestorm within the Disney-owned news organization. Stephanopoulos, a former aide to Bill Clinton in the 1990s, was particularly incensed at being compelled to issue a public apology, according to the New York Post. Insiders explained how the veteran anchor remains 'defiant' amid the fallout.

Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that given the absence of government information on the drone sightings in New Jersey, individuals will soon become “drone vigilantes” and “they’ll start taking them down.” Christie said, “I lived in New Jersey my whole life. This is the first time that I’ve noticed drones over my house, and I was in a restaurant in Monmouth County on Friday night. I had people at the bar coming up to me and saying, Governor Murphy won’t tell me anything. The president won’t tell me anything. Do you know?"

Hilarious footage captured the moment Jill Biden's holiday cheer was quickly shot down by a child who corrected her Christmas greeting. The First Lady greeted children at the White House on Friday to mark the festive season at the Marine Corps' 'Toys for Tots' event, welcoming military families: 'Hello! How are you? Happy Holidays!' 'Happy Christmas!' a young boy shot back. Jill grinned at the riposte, correcting herself: 'Happy Christmas, yes.' The interaction recalls a culture wars clash that seemingly sparked up during the Obama Administration, as conservatives accuse liberals of watering down the Christian holiday.

Americans, our long national nightmare, the Biden presidency, is almost over. First, we must endure six more weeks of damage that President Joe Biden will inflict on the American people.Biden just gave Hunter, his son who was convicted on gun and tax evasion charges, an expansive 11-year pardon, after repeatedly promising he would not engage in such familial favoritism. Biden’s lies were so egregious that at a recent White House press briefing, CNN reporter MJ Lee asked a very pertinent question, “The next time that the president says he will or won’t do something, why should the American people believe him?”

San Diego County is set to introduce 'radical' new sanctuary laws to avoid cooperation with ICE and other federal immigration authorities. The laws are seen as direct defiance toward Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, who has singled out San Diego for its massive illegal migrant problems amid plans of mass deportation. However, the San Diego sheriff on Tuesday defied a new policy to limit cooperation. San Diego County supervisors voted to prohibit its sheriff's department from working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the federal agency's enforcement of civil immigration laws, including those that allow for deportations.

December is here, the election has been over for a month, Trump has picked out his cabinet and California is still counting the votes. And will go on counting them until the Dems win. Considering Trump’s landslide victory, California had a difficult task ahead of it, but it has already managed to flip the seats held by Rep. Mike Garcia, Rep. Michelle Steel and just stole the seat held by Rep. John Duarte. In Duarte’s 13th congressional district, California Dems have taken a month to count a little over 210,000 votes. That’s an impressive achievement considering that the proverbial Florida Man seems able to count the votes on Election night.
