Data: Migration Issues Flipped Swing Voters

The damage done by President Joe Biden’s migration policy pushed a large share of undecided swing voters to support Donald Trump during the last week of the 2024 campaign, according to a report by BluePrint2024, a pro-Democrat polling firm. The polling data helps to explain why Democrats are moving closer to blaming Biden and his pro-migration border chief — Alejandro Mayorkas — for their political disaster. “We destroyed ourselves on the immigration issue in ways that were entirely predictable and entirely manageable,” a Democratic senator told the Hill for a November 29 report.

They may have chosen a favorite issue but the underlying factor is that Kamala is not presidential material.

One has to be really dumb to think that an invasion of that magnitude would be a vote getter.

After supporting the invasion for four years, they are now saying it was a mistake. Funny how elections get some people's attention.

I can't forget the sight of Puddles sitting at the little table in the fake Oval Office with a 2 foot high stack of EO's he would be signing to tear down everything President Trump had done for this country. On the first day. And did Kamala just start guffawing when she started the presidential campaign? Was it her nerves? I don't remember her doing anything other than standing behind him with a smirk on her face the whole time she was vice president. What a nightmare time for this country but we made it through.

One Democratic Senator says this and the media takes it as the whole of the Democrats. Certainly immigration was a great part of their defeat, but they had a lousy candidate, and they had 4 years of the worst mess this country has ever seen .

When Trump first announced his run for President, I knew almost nothing about him. I had never seen his TV show, had 'sort of' heard of him as some sort of big real estate guy in NYC. Not being a fan of NYC, this meant nearly nothing to me. BUT......when I heard his "close the border, build a wall" talk I told my wife, "If he really means that, he has my vote, regardless of anything else." And, the more I learned about Trump, the more I support him. But closing the border and building the wall was the first and most important issue for me. And it seems so for many other Americans.

They can shrug off a mistake costing tens of billions of dollars but try short-changing the IRS ten bucks.

Yep, democrats, always looking for someone to blame, NOT their policies..and the border, although important, I don't think was the deciding factor...it was ALL their liberal polices bunched together...we the people were just tired of all the back-biting, 'I want it so you have to do it' policies they kept putting forth..and we kicked them to the curb...and the keening, wailing, and nashing of teeth is a beautiful sound to hear...

In a move that could have seismic implications for NATO’s strategic capabilities, two critical undersea communication cables in the Baltic Sea—lifelines of military coordination among NATO allies—were severed in what increasingly appears to be a calculated act of hybrid warfare. The timing of these incidents, coming mere hours after the Biden administration authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied ATACMS long-range missiles against Russian targets, raises the unmistakable specter of a coordinated response by Russia, with China’s complicity, aimed at halting NATO’s ability to act decisively during a crucial moment in this escalating conflict. The severing of these cables appears to be more than a mere act of sabotage.

A top Democratic leader is pointing fingers at “MAGA” Republicans, accusing them of threatening Congressional Democrats on Thanksgiving— just one day after members of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks received bomb threats on their front doors. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) implicated that Trump supporters were hurling violent threats to Democrats with messages that included bomb threats and swatting— the practice of making prank phone calls to emergency services to bring about the dispatch of a large number of armed police officers to a particular address.

More than three weeks after election day, commentators still try to explain the results. The more “establishment” the commentator, the more likely they are to discuss less relevant details and miss the main point. The Democrats lost the 2024 election because of bad policies that failed very publicly. Those failures lingered through Biden’s entire term. Their nominee could not recover from those failures. The Democrats began their term with a trillion dollar + spending bill. That spending caused inflation by sending too many dollars after the same goods and services in the U.S. economy. Prices of all consumer goods exploded to previously unknown heights.

WASHINGTON — Democrats spent Thanksgiving eating crow — privately confessing that President Biden’s handling of the border crisis fueled voter outrage and the Republican sweep of the White House and both chambers of Congress. Lawmakers, aides and sources close to powerful Dems finally admitted after President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory over Biden’s successor, Vice President Kamala Harris, that the party’s permissive lurch on the border helped doom them in 2024. (Photo) “We destroyed ourselves on the immigration issue in ways that were entirely predictable and entirely manageable,” a Democratic senator confided to The Hill under the condition of anonymity. “We utterly mismanaged that issue, including our Democratic caucus here.

Joe Biden's staffers have reportedly been 'triggered' by his inability to hold the tradition of the outgoing president taking 'departure photos' with White House employees. Biden was set to depart the White House in January no matter who won after he declined to seek a second term in July. Now, however, he'll be handing the presidency back to Trump after Kamala Harris was soundly beaten by Biden's predecessor. The staff, however, has apparently reached a new low in terms of morale, launching into unhappy groupchats about not getting their goodbye pictures.

Elizaveta Krivonogikh, 21, who is believed to Putin’s youngest daughter, is reportedly living and working in Paris under the names Luiza Rozova and Elizaveta Olegovna Rudnova, according to an investigation by Ukrainian TV station TSN. It was a not-so-merry message. California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a list of suggestions Nov. 26 for shoppers to avoid scams during the holiday season and requested consumers file reports about department stores that lack gender-neutral children’s sections. State law, established by the passage of Assembly Bill 1084 in 2021, which took effect at the beginning of 2024, requires department stores with at least 500 employees across California locations to offer children’s sections that do not separate items based on gender. “By requiring large retailers to maintain a gender-neutral section, AB 1084 makes it more difficult for these retailers to engage in gender-based pricing discrimination and reduces the imposition of gender stereotypes on children,”

A new report has surfaced suggesting Democrats are feeling "lost and rudderless" following the election. So much so that a list of presidential contenders for 2028 includes the name Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). If nothing else, The Hill column ranking potential Democrat contenders for 2028 shows that the resistance party has little to offer on the bench when it comes to knocking off the Republicans. In fact, polls show Vice President Kamala Harris is far and away their preferred candidate. Trump shellacked her despite Harris having every conceivable advantage in the media, exposing her as a thoroughly unlikable person. But they think Harris can somehow rally in four years?

More than 165 international constitutions include gender equality, and ours should, too. In January 2020, Virginia ratified the Equal Rights Amendment, becoming the final state needed to add about 170 million women and girls to our Constitution. All constitutional requirements have been met, according to the American Bar Association. And yet. For the past four years, America has been in a constitutional crisis. In 2020, for the first time in our nation’s history, publication of a fully ratified amendment was stopped by the executive branch. Why is the ratified ERA still not added to the Constitution?

Kamala Harris has signaled that she may run for president again in 2028, and after the splendid campaign she ran in 2024, who could blame her? But the Candidate of Joy would be hasty if she thinks that she will rewarded with a coronation in 2028. There is likely to be a host of contenders for the Democrat nomination, each vying with the others to show how much madness, socialism, and authoritarianism he, she, or xe can promise to the American people (and the world, since the Dems so desperately want every last person on the planet to be able to vote in our elections).
