CNN’s Jennings on Trump Cabinet Picks:
‘Are You Not Entertained?’

Original Article

Wednesday on CNN, network contributor Scott Jennings reacted to what some are describing as President-elect Donald Trump’s “unexpected” cabinet appointments. According to Jennings, the picks showed that Trump was not in a “mood” to negotiate with Washington, D.C., about who would serve in his Cabinet. “Are you not entertained?” Jennings said. “I mean, his is the most entertaining transition I’ve ever seen. I was as surprised as Paula because it was not a name we have seen. We have seen some reporting, a lot of different names, frankly a lot of sort of well-heeled Washington legal types that were on the list. So, I’m as surprised as anyone.”

Donald Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump says she would 'love' to serve in the Senate after her name got floated for the powerful appointment to succeed Marco Rubio, who is Trump's choice to be the next secretary of state. 'This is my home state now and has been for three years,' she told Fox News host Sean Hannity, a friend and advisor to the president-elect, during an appearance on his prime time show. Donald Trump made his daughter-in-law co-chair of the Republican National Committee, and she crowed about the GOP's performance during a cycle when the party captured the White House and the Senate, while holding a narrow House majority.

Nikki Haley, a failed presidential candidate and former ambassador to the United Nations, tried to smear President-elect Donald Trump as “shallow” after he stated he would not offer her a position in his second administration. The comment appears to expose Haley’s resentment of Trump, who defeated her in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race. Haley dropped out in March after Super Tuesday. She eventually said she would vote for Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in the months leading up to Election Day, but the endorsement did not cause Trump to bring Haley on the campaign trail as a surrogate, angering many establishment Republicans. After Trump defeated Harris in a landslide,

Israel could have America’s backing to annex the West Bank under a Trump administration, according to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who President-elect Donald Trump has named to be his ambassador to Israel. After his selection was announced, Huckabee spoke to Israel’s Army Radio about his nomination, according to the Times of Israel. During the interview, he was asked if the West Bank — land formerly claimed by Jordan that Israel won during the 1967 Six-Day War — could be annexed by Israel. “Well, of course,” Huckabee said. “I won’t make the policy. I will carry out the policy of the president.”

You know that there are people who would actually use this service if it was really available. The ad appears to be a production by the folks at Newzy: Don’t Cry, Cryo!

It’s time to make your echo chamber great again. In 2024, that means curating your world to exclude those who voted for the 45th and, now, 47th president, Donald J. Trump. Especially if those voters are close friends or family members — slap the ban on them. Just say no to sharing a plate of Thanksgiving yams with your Trump-supporting aunt, even if she voted for Obama twice and Hillary in 2016. It’s the doctor’s orders!
