Donald Trump spoke at the Al Smith Dinner in New York City tonight and showed off his humorous side, telling joke after joke and getting plenty of laughs in the process.
Watching some of the clips below, it is starting to make sense that Kamala Harris decided not to show up in person.
Trump took aim at various elected officials and people in media.

Comedian Andrew Schulz and his "Flagrant" podcast co-hosts did a great interview of former President Donald Trump last week. People loved it because it showed Trump's humor and humanity as he spoke about his family, Elon Musk, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and what he wants his legacy to be. The difference between his off-the-cuff speaking and ability to answer questions versus Kamala Harris is stark. He spoke with the "Flagrant" guys for an hour-and-a-half, longer than anticipated, but they were having so much fun, they just continued.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued a north Dallas doctor Thursday accusing her of providing harmful gender transition treatments to nearly two dozen minors in violation of Texas state law.
AG Paxton filed suit against Dr. May Chi Lau who he claims provided hormone replacement therapy to 21 minors between October 2023 and August for the purpose of transitioning genders. Dr. May Lau, M.D. serves as the Medical Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult clinic at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
Texas state law that passed in September 2023 clearly prohibits “gender transition” medical interventions such as surgeries, puberty blockers, and cross-sex hormones for minors.

During an interview with Fox News Wednesday night, her first ever on the network and one of the few since becoming the Democratic nominee for president, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed she took on the Guadalajara Cartel during her time as a prosecutor in California. (X Video) There's just one major problem.
By the time Harris became a prosecutor in the 1990s, the Guadalajara Cartel had already been disbanded. In the 1980s a criminal group rooted in the state of Sinaloa evolved into the first large-scale drug trafficking organization and became the precursor of most of Mexico’s current major criminal organizations.

On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris took part in her first formal sit-down interview with Fox News as she spoke to Bret Baier. Immigration came up as a topic, particularly in the context of Americans who were allegedly murdered by illegal immigrants. Unfortunately, Harris didn't answer as to if she owed the families an apology, and mostly kept pivoting back to criticizing former and potentially future President Donald Trump during the interview. Patty Morin, the mother of one of those victims, Rachel Morin, was asked to respond to that interview during her appearance on "Fox & Friends" on Thursday morning.

Almost 100,000 firepits are being frantically recalled in the wake of multiple federal lawsuits filed by burn victims.
The table-top appliances from Miami-based Colsen have already burned 19 people, the company conceded Wednesday - as it issued a historic recall for 89,500 indoor and outdoor items.
So far there have been 31 reports of flame jetting and fire escaping the combustible containers, resulting in the injuries that continue to mount. Seven models of Colsen-branded fire pits - varying in size from five to 18 inches - were named in the recall, after two incidents resulted in third-degree burns. The fleet of pits had amounted to the company's entire catalog.

On Thursday night, former and potentially future President Donald Trump will be attending the Al Smith dinner in New York City, an event to benefit Catholic Charities. It's also supposed to symbolize unity and coming together together. Vice President Kamala Harris made the decision weeks ago to not attend, which came as a disappointment to Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York.In his podcast from Tuesday, Dolan confirmed that "this year will be unbalanced because sadly Kamala Harris isn't coming." Just as he did weeks ago when reacting to the vice president's snub, he continued to lament that her absence is "a shame, because

The RNC filed a lawsuit against the City of Detroit Department of Elections for deleting ballot drop box surveillance footage.
The lawsuit accuses Detroit elections officials of violating the Freedom of Information Act by deleting the footage more than two weeks after they requested it from the city.
“Deleting footage that is the subject of a pending FOIA request—submitted more than two weeks before the footage was deleted—is a clear violation of FOIA,” the RNC said, according to CBS News. “Detroit had a clear legal obligation to preserve and provide the footage, which they violated.”

You knew news organizations would be making calls to professional lip readers after Joe Biden and Barack Obama were caught having a frank discussion at the funeral for Ethel Kennedy this week. The late Mrs. Kennedy passed away on October 10 at 96. Her funeral was another event where politicians, friends, and family would gather, and like most scared Democrats, some discussed the 2024 race. With death organs blasting in the background, Obama and Biden seemed beyond dispirited about the Kamala Harris operation, with the former president bluntly saying that Biden’s gal simply isn’t strong enough to win this election (via NY Post):

WASHINGTON — President Biden griped to former President Barack Obama that “she” is “not as strong as me” — with Obama agreeing “that’s true” — in a stunning off-mic conversation deciphered for The Post by a professional lip reader.
The apparent candid assessment of Vice President Kamala Harris’ standing going into the Nov. 5 election occurred Wednesday afternoon as America’s two most recent Democratic presidents conversed at Ethel Kennedy’s memorial service in Washington.
“She’s not as strong as me,” said Biden, 81, according to the translation, which was produced by analyzing the on-video lip movements during the discussion.

The typically mild-mannered and tight-lipped Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell privately laced into former President Donald Trump and sobbed during the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol, an upcoming book claims.
McConnell (R-Ky.), 82, slammed Trump, 78, as “stupid,” “ill-tempered,” a “narcissist” and a “despicable human being” behind closed doors toward the end of his administration, according to a preview of the book “The Price of Power” from the Associated Press.
“It’s not just the Democrats who are counting the days” until Trump’s White House departure, McConnell told associates in confidence, per the AP.
“[Trump’s conduct] only underscores the good judgment of the American people.

Vice President Kamala Harris’s “plagiarism scandal” is far “more serious” than previously stated, New York Times‘s plagiarism consultant Jonathan Bailey admitted Thursday.
The Times admitted Monday that Harris plagiarized multiple passages in her 2009 book, Smart on Crime, but alleged, however, that it was “not serious.” Some of the lengthy messages lifted were from Wikipedia and the Associated Press. The Harris campaign claimed on Tuesday that she did not plagiarize multiple passages, contradicting Harris’s allies in the media, including the New York Times and the New Republic. Citing the review of “a full dossier with additional allegations, which led some to accuse the New York Times of withholding
