[A] CNN Republican commentator said on Sunday morning that he wasn’t sure Democrats had enough time to repair the damage they’d done with male voters before the 2024 presidential election, now just days away. (snip) "a lot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than they do about dudes who just wanna be dudes,” Jennings said, continuing over the outraged protests of several fellow panelists. “No amount of hunting cosplay or cringy videos is gonna change it. The bed is made.”

The world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, is setting its sights on a new goal: to become a first-rate resort and tourism destination. (snip) “We must recognize that cultural heritage and tourism should become one of the country’s top three priorities. By promoting cultural diplomacy, we can aim for a future where tourism replaces the oil revenues as a primary economic driver,” Salehi-Amiri said.
Salehi-Amiri explained that the goal is to attract 15 million tourists to Iran by 2028. He also went on to say that Iran should build hundreds of new hotels by that year.

Avid outdoorsmen are slamming a new political coalition formed by the Harris-Walz campaign aimed at winning their vote in the 2024 presidential election. (snip) critics mocked videos shared from the hunt, which showed Walz and allies from nonprofit group Pheasants Forever traipsing around a field with no shotguns in sight. “Tim Walz pretends to go pheasant hunting with no guns,” BlazeTV host Sara Gonzalez wrote on X. Another video showed that the governor did have his shotgun on site, but he struggled to load the Beretta

Moviegoers across the country have fired The Apprentice.
The controversial Trump biopic — which portrays the young Donald Trump as a rapist — is set to gross around $1.5 million on its opening weekend. That’s an embarrassingly low figure given the movie received a wide release on 1,740 screens, for a per-screen average of about $862.
Since most screens feature multiple showings a day, that means from late Thursday to Sunday, there was an average of around five people per showing — in other words, mostly empty theaters.

The Biden-Harris administration is accusing another jurisdiction of discriminating against women and African Americans by creating law enforcement examinations that are too hard for them.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday announced a lawsuit against South Bend, Indiana. In their court filing, the DOJ accused the South Bend Police Department of creating a physical fitness test that discriminates against female candidates and a written test that discriminates against African-American candidates, allegedly because both groups were passing at considerably lower rates than their male and white counterparts, respectively.

New Zealand’s navy has suffered its first peacetime ship loss since World War II when the $100 million multi-role support vessel HMNZS Manawanui ran aground off the southern coast of Upolu Island, Samoa, caught fire and eventually sank—triggering an environmental disaster in the process.
With all 75 passengers and crew evacuated, the vessel’s loss brings fresh scrutiny to the leadership under its openly lesbian commanding officer, Commander Yvonne Gray.
The Manawanui, originally built in Norway and repurposed for New Zealand’s Royal Navy with a substantial $103 million investment, was conducting a seabed survey mission when it hit a reef, according to maritime news outlet gCaptain.

Pope Francis has announced his intention to make 21 new cardinals on December 8, among whom is the pro-LGBT Dominican friar Timothy Radcliffe. I don’t know which is worse.” (snip) “I have no doubt that God does call homosexuals to the priesthood, and they are among the most dedicated and impressive priests I have met,” he stated. California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has continuously denied that the state’s policies have anything to do with sky-high gas prices the state's residents pay, arguing that it’s “Big Oil” driving up gasoline prices. But a new study shows policies have added as much as $1.91 per gallon to what Californians pay at the pump.
According to AAA, Americans on Saturday were paying on average $3.177 a gallon for gasoline. Californians were paying $4.676 per gallon on average. The gap can vary. A year ago, the average national price was $3.814 per gallon, while Californians were paying $6.059 per gallon.

The Supreme Court agreed Friday to consider a woman’s claim that she was demoted because she is straight.
Marlean Ames, who began working for the Ohio Department of Youth Services in 2004, sued the department for sex-based discrimination in 2020, alleging she did not receive a promotion and was later demoted because she is a “heterosexual woman,” according to court records
Ames brought her case under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bans sex-based workplace discrimination. The justices agreed to weigh in on whether a heightened standard should be required for members of a “majority-group” to bring such claims.

The Maryland Department of State Police (MDSP) has committed to shell out more than $2 million in back pay to black and female applicants who could not pass state trooper tests as part of a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). (snip) MDSP requires that state trooper candidates successfully complete both written and physical tests, which the DOJ alleged “discriminate” against the black and female candidates who could not pass them.
MDSP’s Functional Fitness Assessment Test (FFAT) required female applicants to do “push-ups, sit-ups, a seated reach, a trigger pull, and a one-and-a-half mile run,” according to the complaint.

“I’m only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris,” Carter said, his grandson, Jason Carter, told The Atlanta Constitution.
