Conservatives Must Preserve The Electoral College

Original Article

Just the other day, Tim Walz stated explicitly that America needs to end the Electoral College. Although the campaign quickly walked this back, the reality is that he was speaking for most Democrats. That’s why it’s important for us to understand why the Electoral College matters and should continue. Equality under the law is the bulwark of any free democratic nation that operates under the rule of law and values liberty and justice for all. This includes making the value of votes as equal as possible across a vast country. The U.S. Constitution’s Framers brought this concept as close to perfection as possible.

This is a blatant effort to subvert our election process. It's the other reason that the left wants open borders, legals or illegals. They don't care. They want our elections controlled by millions of third world welfare seekers and the big blue crime-ridden cities. The framers knew what they were doing.

Of course hey want to do away with the electoral college. Just another reason they opened the borders. They want the popular vote to count and they have rigged the popular vote with illegal voters.

It's not going anywhere. It would take a constitutional amendment approved by two-thirds of both Houses of Congress and then be ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures, That's not going to happen.

MD, DE, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NH, and VT just might want to preserve the electoral college. I think it was one of the reasons they signed onto the Constitution of the US.

People should be very leery of changing the Constitution. It's the very Constitution that helped end many of the wrongs created by other laws from people (Democrats mostly) who wanted particular outcomes that would favor themselves. Slavery was ended as a result of the Constitution. Jim Crow laws were ended as a result of the Constitution. Plessy v Ferguson was overturned as a result of the Constitution. Brown v Board of Education overturned Plessy based on the Constitution. Democrats have used and abused the Courts to push their Progressive agenda and schemes for decades. The Constitution also allows for Amendments to update things or fix things.

I saw the funniest thing on the YouTube today. There was a man who appeared to be driving a bus, and on the intercom, he was calling role and directing riders (assumed to be prisoners) where to go upon arrival at their destination. He called names of dems like hitlery and bill, letting them know where to report for their prison orientation. I wish I had a link to share. Hilarious. If we keep these demons away from power, we don't have to worry about them getting rid of the electoral college.

Ariana Grande took the New York 30 Rock stage at “Saturday Night Live” for the third time as host and found herself in familiar circumstances. “The last time I hosted was in 2016, and we were right on the verge of electing our first female president,” the 31-year-old singer and actor said in her monologue. “So, I guess, second time’s the charm?” Grande, who first hosted in 2014, was doing it for the first time without also serving as musical guest — a role that fell to Stevie Nicks — and promised not to sing, before breaking into a song. The theme continued as she vowed

J.D. Vance left a New York Times reporter stunned by dismantling the argument that illegal immigrants are essential to the U.S. economy. The Senator made the case that a simple solution to the migrant crisis would be to employ 7 million male Americans who have dropped out of the labor force, rather than relying on the annual inflow of approximately 2 million undocumented migrants. Vance says he doesn’t think America needs to rely on cheap immigrant workers and advocated for Donald Trump’s proposal to deport all undocumented people living illegally in the U.S.

With just weeks before the 2024 presidential elections, securing a fair and honest election should be the top priority for states— except for Arizona. Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes is moving forward with allowing 218,000 people with unconfirmed citizenship to vote in the federal election despite concerns illegal immigrants have been peddled into the U.S. to boost votes for the Democratic candidate. Under 2024 state law, Fontes revealed the number of registered voters but never provided the required legal proof of citizenship. The Democrat revealed last week that that number had doubled, describing it as an “evolving situation.”

I recently wrote that the 2024 election won't be that close. Part of my thinking was that pollsters have yet to solve their "Trump problem." The pollsters have tried different methodologies, different algorithms. and different ways to contact voters, all seeking to address the "missing Trump voters" that fail to show up in their polls but end up voting by election day.Everyone has their own theory about how to measure Trump's support but the bottom line is that we won't know how successful or unsuccessful the pollsters are until the voters are counted. That's going to take a while, considering all the legal challenges from both sides that will be made.

Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz are trying to paint themselves as "change agents," which is a pretty tough trick given that Harris is in power now. Not only has she not solved the problems or produced results for the American people, but she's actively made the situation worse in regard to inflation and illegal immigration by doing away with the security former President Donald Trump had in place at the border and voting for more spending that helped drive up prices. But then when she was asked on "The View" what she would have done differently from Joe Biden, she couldn't even give an answer.

That money has not been recouped, with ticket revenue failing to cover the weekly cost of operations. Producers announced Friday that Suffs will close January 5 —

Seven & I Holdings, 7-Eleven’s Japan-based parent company, announced in an earnings report Thursday that 444 7-Eleven stores are closing because of a dip in sales, particularly cigarette sales, as well as decreased traffic and inflation. A list of which stores will be closing was not released. 7-Eleven has 13,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada, which means the closures would only impact 3% of the company’s portfolio. The convenience store chain has faced six consecutive months of traffic declines, including a 7.3% dip in August.
