This is a little bit unusual, and I don’t generally recommend going to a bizarro leftist narrative article for full review; however, in this case it is worth it. Politico has written an article about FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, saying disinformation about the federal government response to Hurricane Helene, “is absolutely the worst I have ever seen,” Criswell told reporters on a Tuesday morning call. “It’s creating distrust in the federal government, but also the state government, and we have so many first responders that have been working to go out and help these communities,” she added. {link}

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Rolkyne just knew that his all-clavichord Captain and Tennille retrospective was going to be the talk of the Tri-County Fair.
We have spent a lot of time over the years discussing the never ending awfulness of the people in the mainstream media who call themselves journalists. Bias for the Democrats has been a problem since I have been politically aware, which has been quite some time. Of course, they've all gotten worse since Donald Trump rose to power in the Republican Party.

When former President Barack Obama comes to Pittsburgh on Thursday to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in the home stretch for next month's election, he will be returning to a very different western Pennsylvania from the one he won robustly in 2008 and less so in 2012. In 2008, Obama ran on a message of aspiration, using a slogan of hope and change to create a coalition of working-class white people long part of the New Deal Democrats, minorities, young people and educated professionals.
In that race against Republican John McCain, he won 18 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties.

A New Jersey high school banned yellow ribbons meant to symbolize support for the Israeli hostages during a club fair — a “blatant’’ display of antisemitism, furious critics say.
Some Fair Lawn High School parents and the group StopAntisemitism also complained that the presence of Israel’s flag during the event, which was partly promoting a trip to Israel, was not allowed because the administration deemed it too “political” — while members of the Muslim Student Association were allowed to display a keffiyeh.
“What happened at Fair Lawn High School is an alarming case of hypocrisy and blatant antisemitism,” said Liora Rez, founder of StopAntisemitism.

One of the things that Elon Musk just warned about at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was the danger that the Democrats posed to free speech and how important it was to vote for Trump to preserve our Constitutional rights. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton let the cat out of the bag during an interview with CNN on Saturday, where she spoke about the need to control social media. She said it should be "at the top" of every legislative agenda: "We lose total control." That's the real problem to them right there, that's why Democrats are so upset. Yes, that's the point of the First Amendment --

October 7, 2023, was many things. It was the single worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. It was the beginning of a war between Israel and Iran (through its proxies, and now with the Islamic Republic itself) that shows no signs of abating. It was a litmus test for the civilized world—one that too many have failed.
It was also, for The Free Press, a story that transformed our young company. Since the day of the Hamas massacre, we have worked relentlessly to bring you news of the war, and its implications for the Middle East and the free world.

The hatred of extreme left-wing agitators and parts of the left-liberal elite in politics and the media against our Jewish compatriots and the State of Israel since the barbaric massacre of innocent civilians on October 7, 2023, has directly fueled anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews.
It started immediately after October 7 with inflammatory demonstrations of millions of people with false flags and slogans in many European capitals, including many non-Western immigrants, who thereby demonstrated that they do not share any of our values and do not belong here.

Columbia University saw donations at its annual fundraiser drop nearly 29% after the spate of anti-Israel protests on campus earlier this year.
The annual “Giving Day” event brought in $21.4 million in 2024, compared to $30 million in 2022, the last time the event was held, according to campus newspaper Columbia Spectator. Giving Day was postponed in 2023 due to the Oct. 7 Hamas attack and the ensuing protests.
The Ivy League university also saw a nearly 28% drop in the number of gifts, falling from 19,229 in 2022 to 13,870, the lowest since 2015, the paper said.

If it's Friday, then it stands to reason that there's going to be a Friday news dump. And the Biden administration didn't disappoint with its quiet announcement in the work week's waning hours, stating that it will end plans to provide a path to citizenship for the over 500,000 illegal aliens from four nations that it flew into the United States. Readers might remember the temporary pause in the program in August, after major fraudulent activities were exposed in the program's management, in part thanks to Elon Musk's bringing attention to the Daily Mail's story back in the spring.

Islamist and jihadist student protesters under [Muhamad] Yunus's leadership have established an alternative government in the country, reminiscent of Iran's private militia, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Dozens of individuals, including Hindus, are falling victim to mob justice, while the perpetrators of these gruesome crimes enjoy impunity. Notably, Muhammad Yunus is one of the major donors to the Clinton Foundation. According to a cable leaked by Wikileaks, in 2007, Hillary Clinton made frantic efforts and exerted pressure on the Bangladesh Army to appoint her friend Yunus as head of the then military-backed interim government.

The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) has reached a tentative agreement with port owners and representatives of USMX, for a reported 62% contract increase in wages over six years. As a result, the dockworker strike is suspended as negotiations on other aspects of the contract are extended through January 15, 2025. According to the New York Times – […] A 62 percent increase would raise the top longshoremen’s wage to just over $63 per hour at the end of a new six-year contract, from today’s $39 per hour. And at $63 an hour,

No matter which major party’s candidate wins this election, there’s one sure loser: The media. By nearly two-to-one, voters say they have little or no trust in either the mainstream big media or the alternative media. Can a country survive when two thirds of its people distrust the reporting of its main news outlets?
In the September I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,582 adults, taken from Aug. 28-Aug. 30 with a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points, there was more glum news for the nation’s major news outlets. Americans profoundly distrust the stories they tell and how they tell them.
That’s not an exaggeration.
