hands down

As the candidates for vice president took the stage in New York on Tuesday night, the state of North Carolina was under water, Israel was under siege, the American supply chain was under threat of disruption by an East Coast port strike and the American people were under the impression that there was a leadership void in the White House.
In other words, the conditions existed for Ohio Senator JD Vance to stick it to the incumbent party, represented by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
And Vance delivered in spades. From the opening bell, Walz was nervous, overmatched and out of his

While calm, polite, and collected, JD Vance cut through the Biden Harris B.S. like a razor blade. In the Battle of the Great Lake States, JD Vance clearly won. Another Great Lake Stater, Chicago-born Earnest Hemingway called "Grace under pressure." JD Vance is grace under pressure.

Dumbing Down: Obama “I want a VP dumber then me”.
Biden “I want a VP dumber then me”.
Harris “I want a VP dumber than me”.
Waltz………..can’t get much lower.

Great article, and btw I totally agreed w Vance about abortion and the referendum. We are not going to save lives by imposing laws nobody agrees with, but we are going to save lives by talking about what is the best law, by hearing out the difficulties and trying to find ways forward, and trying to shape a law that is acceptable to consciences and experiences and the biological truth.

FTA: "Neither Vance nor the moderators raised Walz’s alleged embellishment of his military exploits or use of fertility treatments to help his wife conceive children, despite Republicans focusing on both in recent weeks."
Across the board (or should that be across the Internet?), I see Republicans and/or conservatives repeatedly losing sight of the essential issues, and the true goal of winning back the Presidency, in order to play games of "gotcha!"
Yes, it is fun to do, and gives us, "the Great Unwashed", a chance to offer our opinions and comment on events we know something about - like me and that other Master Sergeant, Walz. But it ain't gonna win us the election.
What Vance did is know what his essential arguments were, made his points, and kept On Task. No rambling unless it supported his point. This is called Discipline.
Vance should also be an example to every conservative social media "news" site out there. When your write your commentaries, follow him. Make your esstential points BEFORE your gotchas and your "and another things." If you must include them, put this last, as I am going to do here:
And another thing, JD Vance talks well and is a relief to listen to.
(See? this was not necessary to my main argument. I tried making this comment at the beginning and realized it was just a tangent.)

Not true #2. There is always AOC, Maxine Waters and Hank Johnson. Democrats cultivate stupidity in Congress.

I expect Shapiro is thrilled not to be part of the clown show to protect his chances in 2028.

One thing that stood out for me was that in almost every answer, Walz talked about what was done in Minnesota. It is good that things are going so great in Minnesota but that's not what people are concerned about. They are concerned about what is going on in the rest of the United States - the economy, the crime, the lack of affordable housing, the illegal drug epidemic, the cities that are overrun by illegal aliens, etc. Those two hopeless moderators made derogatory statements about Trump to preface every question directed to Vance. They never asked Walz why Kamala hadn't done a better job in the almost 4 years she has been in office. At least Walz didn't wave his arms in the air and carry on like a balloon filled with helium but he didn't give me any assurance that things wouldn't be just as bad under him and Kamala as they now are under Kamala and Biden. I can see Vance perfectly capable of taking over the presidency if something happened to Trump. He was a great choice as Trump's running mate. Maybe some of Vance's calmness will rub off on Trump.
