On Saturday’s “CNN This Morning,” IDF Spokesman Maj. Doron Spielman responded to frustration from the White House with Israel over ceasefires by stating that “for an entire year, Hezbollah has been firing rockets, over 9,000 rockets, missiles, and killer drones and no one talked about a ceasefire. Now that Israel’s actually taking the assertion to try to protect its civilians, we’re calling for a ceasefire.” And stated that “the world, instead of demanding [that Israel have] a ceasefire, should be demanding that Hezbollah pull out.”

More Americans identify as Republicans than Democrats at this point in the election season for the first time in decades, a Gallup poll reveals.
Not only did 48 percent of respondents say they either identify as Republicans or are leaning Republican for the upcoming election — compared to just 45 percent who identified as Democrats — Gallup analysts also said that “nearly all” measures that have shown some relationship to past presidential election outcomes are favoring the GOP as well.
“By 46 percent to 41 percent, Americans say the Republican Party is better able than the Democratic Party to address what they think is the most important problem facing the country,”

This is why the Biden-Harris Regime ferried in more than 15 million illegal aliens over the last 3 years.
Non-citizens and illegal aliens living at the Los Vecinos apartment complex in Phoenix, Arizona admitted to being registered to vote, according to undercover video posted by the Oversight Project.
“Just out of curiosity, are you registered to vote?” a Real Muckraker reporter asked the illegal.
“Yes, we’ve already registered,” the illegal said.
“Are you a citizen?” the reporter asked.
“No,” they responded.
Other illegal aliens in the same apartment complex also admitted to being registered to vote and expressed interest in voting for Kamala Harris.

On Friday, the same day that Kamala Harris had her photo op at the southern border, where she pretended to take the issue of border security seriously, the Biden-Harris Justice Department announced that it is suing the state of Alabama for its efforts to remove illegal immigrants from its voter rolls.
"The Justice Department announced a lawsuit Friday against Alabama, arguing the state’s effort to remove noncitizens from its voter rolls came too close to the November election," reports the Washington Times. "The department asked a federal judge to order Alabama to put the names — which the state says are ineligible voters — back on the active voter lists.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ photo opportunity at the southern border was a classic example of bad timing: a new report from ICE revealed the criminal scum she and Joe Biden have allowed to pour into the country. Hundreds of thousands of criminals, along with tens of thousands of rapists and murderers, are roaming our streets. Harris wrecked the border, failed to address the migrant crisis, and now thinks she can pull a con over us by suggesting she’d crackdown on illegals (Snip) As CNN’s Scott Jennings aptly noted, the title for this border trip should read “Arsonist returns to the scene of the crime.”

There are a few unshakable rules in political discourse - only a few, but there are some that never seem to be broken. One of these rules is that it is always the left, never the right, that calls for trashing the Constitution when they don't get their way. This is a fundamental law of the universe, which shall henceforth be known as "Clark's Law of Leftists Destroying the Village to Save It."
(I do need to compile a list of all of these laws I've been documenting.)
The latest example? As our sister site Twitchy informs us, leftist lunatic Fran Lebowitz, on Bill Maher's HBO show, "Real Time,"

There are some moments in politics where you watch a candidate giving a speech, answering a point in a debate, or doing something dumb in general - and realize that you just saw a political career end.
In 2004, we saw one of those moments; I remember commenting to my wife at the time, "You just saw his career end, right there." Turns out I was right; Howard Dean ended up dropping out of the 2004 Democratic primary after winning one state in the vote - his own Vermont, now best known for the daffy old Bolshevik, Bernie Sanders.

One of Kamala Harris' biggest problems -- besides having a failed record and being attached to a failed Joe Biden -- is that she isn't able to enunciate a clear vision of what her plans would be.
She talks a lot about "joy" and "dreams and aspirations." But she doesn't actually put out clear, concrete policies -- although she has swiped some ideas from former President Donald Trump. Even in what was billed as her "economic speech" in Pittsburgh, it was pretty much an empty nothing.

When the smoke cleared, six buildings in the quarter of suburban Beirut targeted by Israeli warplanes were gone. They collapsed into themselves, subsumed beneath the underground bunker system that housed Hezbollah’s highest-ranking commanders. It will take days, perhaps weeks, to sift through the wreckage. But when the clearing operation is complete, the Israel Defense Forces believe the salvagers will have recovered the body of longtime Hezbollah commander Hassan Nasrallah. The IDF said early Saturday that Israel had “eliminated” Nasrallah and other commanders.
It would be difficult to overstate Nasrallah’s significance to the terrorist organization he led and the blow to it represented by his death.

Ambulances raced to Unicoi County Hospital amid treacherous flooding caused by Hurricane Helene which left no time to escape.
Dozens were driven from the building's interior and forced onto the roof in howling wind and rain as the Nolichucky River overflowed. The muddy brown waters quickly surrounded the structure which was built in 2018, with weather conditions so atrocious that rescue efforts were made even more difficult.

Below are five news nuggets that will make your blood boil.
*CNN “reporter” Elle Reeve recently asked a boat-owning Trump supporter why he was so concerned about the economy. The clear inference was that he must be doing pretty well himself, so why should he care? Amazing. This doesn’t speak well of her. The boat owner gave a pretty good answer, but he should have asked CNN’s ditz: “Gee, I don’t know, why do healthy people care about health care?”
*While making an appearance in a grocery store recently, Donald Trump handed a woman $100 to help pay for her groceries.

Israel rained down missiles on Hezbollah’s main headquarters in Beirut Friday in its most powerful attack carried out on the Lebanese capital yet — which was understood to be targeting the Iran-backed terror group’s ferocious leader.
It is unclear if the terror chief, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed.
“We don’t know yet. We had intel. This was a precise attack,” a senior Israeli official, who described Nasrallah as the “center” of Iran’s “Axis of Resistance,” told The Post.
If the targeted strike was successful, the assassination of the Hezbollah commander would be the fourth this week.
The military was still looking into the results of its strike on Hezbollah’s headquarters in Beirut,

Hassan Nasrallah — the secretary-general of Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah — was killed by an Israeli airstrike in Beirut on Friday in what is a major escalation in Israel’s military action in Lebanon, according to the Israeli Defense Forces
“Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world,” the IDF claimed on X on Saturday.
Nasrallah, 64, was in a bunker beneath the group’s main headquarters in Beirut Friday when Israeli warplanes dropped bombs that “leveled six buildings” and took out several Hezbollah honchos in a targeted attack on the longtime terror leader.

Donald Trump said Friday he will 'request the prosecution' of Google – part of one of the world's largest companies – when he is back in office, complaining that it is only putting up 'bad stories' about him.
Trump, who has long railed against Big Tech, posted the threat on his Truth Social site, where he also accused the country of promoting only positive stories about rival Kamala Harris.
He offered no further evidence to back up his claims. 'It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time,

It worked for Venezuela, it’s gonna work for California. [SNIP] Up next. State ownership of oil refineries.
The California Energy Commission, meantime, has offered a list of 12 options for policymakers to help manage the industry decline while keeping gasoline prices stable and supply levels high.
Beyond a minimum inventory mandate for gasoline storage, the possibilities include a limit on retail gasoline profit margins; a state lease or ownership of storage tanks and the gasoline that would fill them; a state lease or ownership of oceangoing tankers that hold emergency supplies of gasoline; and even a state takeover of one or more gasoline refineries.

Not only did the Biden-Harris administration decide to admit sanctioned Iranian dictators (responsible for the murder of Americans) and other enemies from around the world to attend the UN’s grand terror shindig in New York, but it conveniently served as a pretext for shutting down an outdoor Trump rally.
The Trump campaign had planned to host a rally in Wisconsin at an outdoor airport venue Saturday, but was told by the Secret Service that it did not have the manpower and assets to secure the venue while the United Nations General Assembly meeting was happening in New York.

Democrat Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon has introduced legislation to pack the U.S. Supreme Court. His bill would add six judges to the court over the course of a few years.
Wyden claims his bill is necessary to fix the supposedly tarnished image of the court. He fails to mention that it is the Democrats who have done everything they can in recent years to smear the court and all of the conservative justices.
This has nothing to do with fixing the court’s image, it’s about fixing the politics of the court to favor the progressive left.
The Washington Post clearly thinks this is a very reasonable idea:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved Friday’s airstrike on Hezbollah’s headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon, from his hotel room in New York City prior to his speech to the United Nations General Assembly.
The Prime Minister’s Office released a photograph that it said showed Netanyahu approving the massive airstrike. The massive attack targeted Hezbollah’s underground headquarters in the Dahiyeh neighborhood of Beirut. It was not clear at the time of the photo’s release whether Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah had survived the attack.
Netanyahu apparently delivered his address knowing that the attack was under way.

Today Kamala Harris visited the border in Arizona and proposed a tougher plan to limit illegal immigration. But of course she's also the current Vice President in the administration with one of if not the worst immigration records in US history. She is essentially promising that, if elected, she will clean up her own mess. This really ought to be embarrassing to all involved but she seems to be getting the serious headlines she wanted out of it.
Harris’s proposed executive action would build on President Joe Biden’s current policy of essentially closing the U.S. asylum system unless illegal border crossings stay below 1,500 daily crossings

Former First Lady Melania Trump believes her husband’s survival of two would-be assassination attempts in recent months are due to divine intervention. While sitting down for an exclusive interview with “Fox & Friends” this week, Melania said that Thomas Matthew Crooks’ and Ryan Routh’s failed plans to gun down her husband were “miracles.” “If you really think about it, July 13 was a miracle. Like that much and he could not be with us … I think something was watching over him. I think, it’s almost like the country really needs him,” she said.
