Democrats Are Running Out of Star Power

Original Article

You can see why Democrats were so desperate for Taylor Swift to endorse Kamala Harris: they have nothing else. While the vast majority of the entertainment industry, when not covering up for Harvey Weinstein’s sex crimes or attending P Diddy's humiliation orgies, is absolutely at home with the Democratic Party, the “star power” of the entertainment world has severely faded. Who are the “stars” anymore? No names leap to mind, which leaves the party with recycling has-beens in an attempt to appeal to an ever-dwindling slice of the public who not only cares, but also has any idea who these people are. Swift is a star –

I wouldn't know who Taylor Swift was if she bit me on the ankle. Does she act? Play sports? Dance? Jiggle across a stage and twerk?

they even resurrected Oprah despite her sad behavior during Hawaii fires. but The Feeling is Gone as Oprah is a character from yesteryear. and Kamala was less than impressive, even w/a teleprompter in front of her. and one of the couples who asked her a question during program commented later on social media that she in no way answered their question/their concerns.

Taylor Swift is a talented person but I doubt if she has a clue regarding world history and economics. When you have million dollars you can't relate to what the average person is going through today. Our kids are not safe in school. Students are faced with the threat of a maniac shooter, bullying poor kids who don't wear the "cool" stuff, teachers trying oi convince them they are the wrong gender or encouraging sexual activity because you can always get an abortion.

There are nearly zero actual stars anymore. They write up about this "star" and that, and they are people I've never heard of from movies or TV shows I've never seen.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, who was a witness in former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he will vote for Trump because he disagrees with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ policies. Host Ari Melber said, “Why was it important for you to say no more Trump because of this January 6? Do you stand by that?” Sondland said, “No. I’ll tell you why. I’ve lived four years under the Biden-Harris policies, and I have to say those policies are not only becoming an existential threat to our country’s way of life but to our allies as well.”

Tim Walz continued his self-implosion on Wednesday as reporters pressed him on two of his worst moments during his debate against JD Vance. As RedState reported, Walz struggled throughout the night against Vance, who was far more poised and articulate, never mind having the issues on his side. There was one specific instance where the Minnesota governor was pushed on a falsehood he told about being in Hong Kong for the Tiananmen Square protests. Walz proceeded to melt down on stage, with an especially awkward moment toward the end of the exchange. Here's the video for those that didn't see it.

This election cycle seems to have been going on since "The Munsters" was a primetime hit on television. I've checked and rechecked the calendar and — I kid you not — we are nearing the end of this thing. Given the amount of pro-Harris and anti-Trump B.S. we will have to wade through, these last five weeks may feel like another six months, but the end is truly nigh. I mean the end of the election cycle, not the end of the world. Maybe. Between now and November, I'm going to keep pushing back on a lot of the recurring false attacks on Donald Trump

Abon’go Malik Obama believes his half-brother former President Barack Obama is “still running the country” — and would have “a big role to play” if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election. Malik — who was best man at Barack’s wedding but has since parted ways with the 44th president — told The Post that his relative made “everything flip” in July, when he swapped out President Biden for Harris as the Democratic nominee, without a single primary vote being cast. “Definitely he had something to do with it. … He’s still running the Democratic Party, and he’s still running the country behind closed doors,” he said of his estranged half-brother.

Vice President Kamala Harris returned to her natural habitat over the weekend — Hollywood, where she partied with celebrities and studio executives as millions of Americans elsewhere continued to deal with the deadly devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene. “Oh, it’s good to be home!” Kamala Harris reportedly exclaimed to the crowd gathered for a Harris-Walz fundraiser at the JW Marriott in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. Her prioritization of Hollywood stars over the millions victims of Hurricane Helene has resulted in a negative news cycle for her campaign. Former President Donald Trump is set to visit storm-ravaged parts of Georgia on Monday and will assist with the distribution of relief aid.

During a friendly interview with the All the Smoke podcast, sitting Vice President Kamala Harris proved she has no idea how a bill becomes a law. What we have here is another situation where Kamala is interviewed by her own fans and asked puffball questions in the hopes of making her look good and in command. Unfortunately for her, she’s an idiot with no grasp of why she believes what she believes, and your only takeaway from the interview is how dumb and shallow she is. One of the hosts offered her this layup: “Explain how a bill becomes a law.” What happened next was pure comedy,

In the wake of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ (D) indictment, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is reportedly already looking to replace him. Despite being pressured to resign in 2021 from his governor’s seat amid sexual harassment allegations, Cuomo believes he would fare well as the city’s next mayor. He reportedly still has millions of dollars left in his state campaign funds, which technically he can use. According to the City and State of New York, Cuomo’s campaign has nearly $8 million. Adams’ campaign has only about $3 million in his war chest. However, transferring to a potential mayoral campaign would be challenging.

Politics has always been a dirty business. As far back as the fall of the Roman Republic, Mark Antony replied to Marcus Tullius Cicero's "Philippics" speeches, in which Cicero called Antony every Latin name in the book, by sending soldiers to kill Cicero. When the soldiers arrived at Cicero's estate, he accepted his fate; the Roman historian Aufidius Bassus tells us Cicero told them. (Snip) Politics today isn't quite so openly brutal - usually. But on Sunday, we learned that a former political opponent of Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), William Braddock, is facing charges for allegedly trying to hire a hit squad.

With the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump seemingly tighter in the polls by the day, this could be one of the most consequential VP candidate face-offs in debate history. Both face their own issues coming in, but they have one thing in common: neither of them was at the top of the headlines just months ago, before they were chosen. Vance might have been better known, as he has the bestselling book

Washington— Donald Trump laid the groundwork to try to overturn the 2020 election even before he lost, knowingly pushed false claims of voter fraud and “resorted to crimes” in his failed bid to cling to power, according to a newly unsealed court filing from prosecutors that lays out fresh details from the landmark criminal case against the former president. Walz, 60, who has honed a folksy demeanor on the campaign trail, was noticeably nervous and misspoke repeatedly as he wrung his hands, took frantic notes,
