Meanwhile at the Secret Service…
The Secret Service’s Office of Equity Diversity and Inclusion sent out an agency-wide request for agents to attend an all-expense paid trip to an LGBTQ+ “Out and Equal” Workplace Summit at Disney World in Orlando October 7-10.
This comes as the Secret Service is spread thin and struggling to meet demands. Things are so bad that the US military is being called in to supplement Secret Service personnel.
Senator Josh Hawley revealed that Homeland Security agents working Trump’s Butler rally received only “webinar” training beforehand.

The FBI's Atlanta Field Office has released some new details about the alleged shooter responsible for killing four and injuring several others at Apalachee High School on Wednesday.
Among the details was the fact that Colt Gray had been investigated previously for making online threats to commit a school shooting in 2023. [Tweet]
According to the agency's statement, in May 2023, the FBI investigated online threats and determined they came from Gray, though the then-13-year-old denied making them. Area schools were still put on alert and told to monitor him.
Here is the full text of the Atlanta office statement:

After having written three articles today, I figured it was time for a bit of farcical comedy, brought to you by none other than MSNBC's race-hustler extraordinaire, Al Sharpton — with a more-than-able assist from the clownish network's other race-hustler extraordinaire, Joy Reid.
At issue for the Reverend was why some (white) people still support Donald Trump.
Before we begin, understand that these two geniuses are among the cream of the crop in the race-hustling industry.
Reid got the racist ball rolling by ragging on Lara Trump over her latest music video.
I love people who have a dream. I am not knocking her having a dream.

In the slimmest of chance that you needed a reminder that the Harris-Waltz ticket is the most radical presidential ticket in American history, you've come to the right article.
Harris recently hired a campaign director who has viciously attacked White Christians and claimed that America is an imperial "cult" and a "bloodthirsty beast." Did I mention that the new hire is not only Kamala's campaign "faith" director but that she's also a Presbyterian minister? Yeah.
So-called "Progressive" Rev. Jennifer Butler argues that "White supremacists" have "hijacked" the Christian faith — a "quality" that seems to fit perfectly with the Harris-Walz ad nauseam attack on White (and Black) conservatives.

After weeks of insisting on rule changes for the upcoming presidential debate, Kamala Harris finally surrendered on Wednesday. The original rules proposed to both candidates by ABC News will stand, including the muted mic setup first demanded by Joe Biden.
The Harris campaign released a letter announcing the decision to back down. It's her incessant crying in defeat that's most interesting, though. This sure sounds like someone who doesn't expect to do well and is setting up a litany of excuses. [Tweets]
How will Harris be "fundamentally disadvantaged" by having complete control of the floor when she's asked a question? That makes no sense on its face.

By now, you've heard that former President Donald Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, and this made Democrats big mad. If you are a regular PJ Media reader, you also know that Trump was at ANC at the invitation of the families of the soldiers whom the Biden-Harris administration's incompetence killed at the Abbey Gate during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
Unfortunately, a cemetery staffer in the throes of a TDS seizure saw fit to disrupt the mourning families and former U.S. president by physically interfering with their graveside visit. The repugnant Harris-Walz campaign seized upon the sad episode and politicized it.
The families of the 13 fallen heroes then issued a statement,

In the latest episode of A Tale of Two Presidents’ Sons, Barron Trump is heading to a top business school as Hunter Biden goes to trial — again — over allegations of withholding taxes.
Barron has already begun classes at New York University’s (NYU) Stern School of Business, according to the UK Daily Mail, which received confirmation of Barron’s enrollment from Donald Trump himself. Meanwhile, Dementia Joe Biden’s criminal, crackhead son’s trial begins this week in California over no fewer than six tax-related charges.
Fortune rates NYU’s Stern as one of the top ten business schools in the U.S.

According to a report from NBC News on Tuesday, the Harris-Walz campaign "is still negotiating with ABC News about rules for the Sept. 10 debate with Trump," even though Donald Trump has already agreed to the rules. "One of the key issues," the report notes, "is whether the candidates’ microphones should be muted when it isn’t their turn to speak."
It's obvious to anyone that the Harris campaign is looking for a way out of debating Trump next week. To still be negotiating rules that have already been agreed to less than a week before the debate is scheduled is sad and telling.
It's because Kamala's debate prep isn't going well.

ERIE, Pennsylvania -- The chaser last Wednesday in Sen. JD Vance's (R-Ohio) trip to this all-important county in the northwestern corner of Pennsylvania came when the Republican vice presidential nominee said Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris can "go to hell" for her handling of the 2021 attack at Abbey Gate in the final days of President Joe Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Harris, for her part, has claimed that she was the last person in the room when Biden made the decision that led to the death of 13 American soldiers.
It was a decision that Harris pointedly said she was "comfortable with."

Last week, as Mia covered, Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a new indictment against former and potentially future President Donald Trump to do with January 6. Days later, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, taking issue with the "latest sham indictment" and calling Smith's move out as "Election interference."
As Jordan began by reminding, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down the Trump v. United States decision on July 1, which found that the office of the president has immunity from criminal prosecution. The Court issued such an opinion "explaining the parameters of presidential immunity and rebuking Special Counsel Jack Smith

What's wrong with electric vehicles? I could give a rat's patootie if they will help save the planet. There are actually some parts of Earth that don't deserve to be saved.
Putting aside my prejudice against New York City and the entire state of California, I just don't get electric cars.
Thanks to Julie Myhre-Nunes of Nerdwallet, I now understand why so many people are opposed to buying them. She drove a Chevy Volt from San Jose to Las Vegas, a 500-mile trip. Google Maps says the trip should take about 8 hours. Ms. Myhre-Nunes's trip took 11.5 hours. (More about that below.)

Instead of using fossil fuels, we're told to use "clean" energy: wind, solar or hydropower.
Hydro is the most reliable. Unlike wind and sunlight, it flows steadily.
But now, environmental groups want to destroy dams that create hydro power.
"Breach those dams," an activist shouts in my new video. "Now is the time, our fish are on the line!"
The activists have targeted four dams on the Snake River in Washington State. They claim the dams are driving salmon to extinction.
It's true that dams once killed lots of salmon. Pregnant fish need to swim upriver to have babies, and their babies swim downriver to the ocean.
