Vice President Kamala Harris called for the removal of police officers from schools in 2019 to address racial disparities in student discipline, according to remarks she made during her first presidential campaign.
In a 2019 interview during her initial run for the presidency, then-Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) argued for eliminating on-campus police presence to address racial inequities.
In a recently resurfaced clip of the event, Harris voices her concerns about the disproportionate rates of suspensions and expulsions among black and brown students, calling for a reevaluation of how discipline is enforced in schools.

Tucker Carlson has once again captured the attention of the internet, this time by mocking Kamala Harris after she posted an alleged letter from him on X promoting gun control.
The letter, which appeared to support gun control measures, had the internet buzzing, but not for the reasons Harris likely hoped.
The letter Harris posted, supposedly penned by “Tucker from Alabama,” gushed about free speech and the Biden administration’s efforts to promote “common sense” gun laws.
The letter reads:
Vice President Harris,
One of my absolute favorite things in America is how people of different backgrounds and beliefs have the freedom to communicate with each other.

California Governor Gavin Newsom will make the final decision on a bill that would make illegal aliens eligible for $150,000 in home loans for first-time buyers, after the State Assembly passed a final version of the bill on Wednesday. (X) Assemblyman Bill Essayli (R-Corona) helped lead Republican opposition to the bill, but Democrats passed it by a three-to-one veto-proof majority, sending it to the governor’s desk — and drawing attention to the party’s pattern of creating incentives for illegal migration by heaping taxpayer-funded benefits onto people who are not supposed to be in the country at all.

President Joe Biden appeared in public for the first time in three days, joining his wife Jill Biden on the beach near their vacation home in Rehoboth, Delaware.
The first lady’s two sisters and her senior adviser Anthony Bernal joined them on the hot, sunny day.
The group sat under two blue umbrellas. Some passers-by waved at them as they walked the beach. It's day nine of the president's two-week vacation. He often sits on the beach when he's in Rehoboth.
He had a blue bag with him and was seen removing a file folder stacked with papers.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” former Defense Secretary and former CIA Director Leon Panetta, who has endorsed 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, stated that Harris was in the room when decisions about the Afghanistan withdrawal were made, but she was there “to listen” and doesn’t “bear the same responsibility that the President bears with regards to the final decision.”
Co-host Brianna Keilar asked, “So, Harris is going to be giving this interview on the eve of what is the third anniversary of America’s total withdrawal from Afghanistan. You spoke last week at the DNC, forcefully making the case for Harris as commander-in-chief.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation held a call with reporters Wednesday and detailed new information about the man, Thomas Crooks, who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.
According to officials, who are still unwilling to confirm a motive, Crooks searched for both Biden and Trump events prior to attending the rally where he shot Trump in the ear, killed 50-year-old Corey Comperatore and severely wounded two more attendees. Investigators say they are certain Crooks acted alone and that

The biggest problem Democrats have this year is the mess they've made of the border. No matter how many cartwheels the media do for Kamala Harris, immigration remains a top issue for voters -- and they blame the Democrats. (I have a theory as to why: Probably because Democrats intentionally flung open the border and let in 10 million illegal immigrants.) The media-Democratic Party complex has tried all manner of lies to hide the crime, but those deceptions crumbled on the slightest examination. (Kamala was NOT the "border czar"!)

It's an all-too-common tale. A father and daughter who live in the same city but might as well be a million miles away, having drifted apart for whatever reason.
Yet this particular domestic fissure is suddenly now more poignant, as the daughter in question is the Vice President of the United States – and in the running for the top job.
And while Kamala Harris campaigns from her West Wing office, her 86-year-old father, Donald J. Harris, owns a home less than a mile away.Despite the proximity, however, there is no record of Donald meeting his famous daughter in the White House.
His name does not appear

For a criminal defense attorney, the scariest moment in any trial is when his client unwittingly opens the door to otherwise inadmissible evidence.
On Thursday, during her acceptance speech, Vice-President Kamala Harris opened that door. The Trump people would have preferred that no one at the DNC talk about January 6, but Rep. Jamie Raskin shattered that hope on the convention’s opening night in a speech so laden with lies Satan was envious.
Harris was much more careful, too careful. So crafted were her words that they revealed a signature speech pattern. As shall be seen, this pattern was evident in her first -- and last -- interview about her role

Democrat presidential and vice presidential nominees Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are set to engage in their first sit-down interview on Thursday with CNN, more than a month after Harris became the presumptive nominee.
Here are 31 questions, broken down by larger themes, that CNN’s Dana Bash could and should ask the duo during the joint interview:
ECONOMY:
1. Price controls typically result in shortages. Are your price control proposals for groceries not going to just create empty aisles and shelves?
2. Will providing every first-time home buyer with $25,000 cause the prices of homes to soar by a similar amount, rendering such an effort futile?

After nearly 40 days of no interviews or press conferences, Kamala Harris has finally decided to grace CNN’s Dana Bash with her presence in a safe, pre-taped two-on-one interview featuring VP pick Tim Walz. The Harris team certainly knew what they were doing when they selected Bash for this job; she’s been one of TV news’s most persistent Biden White House defenders, and her interviews with Democrats almost always include a handful of softballs and non-questions.
Bash surprised just about everyone during the first (and only) presidential debate between Biden and Trump.
