Frontpage Mag, by Bruce Thornton Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/8/2025 8:03:43 AM The desperate Dems, pole-axed by Trump’s fast start on his second term, have revved up their TDS Rube Goldberg scandal machine. The so-called SignalGate affair is being vigorously flogged, with the usual help from Republican Fifth Columnists. But the “-gate” suffix doesn’t mean what the Democrats think it does.
Recently, a group meeting including Trump, Vice President Vance, Def Sec Peter Hegseth, and other defense and national security officials, convened to discuss a punitive attack on Yemen’s Houthi terrorists, and inadvertently included Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, best known for his inveterate, hysterical hatred of Donald Trump, and his eager peddling of the preposterous Russia hoax.
Power Line, by John Hinderaker Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/8/2025 7:54:22 AM It has been a while since Democrats have assassinated a Republican president, but that peaceful interlude may be ending soon. You likely have heard about a survey report by the Network Contagion Research Institute and Rutgers University’s Social Perception Lab, which examines the growing tolerance for violence in American society. Or, rather, on America’s Left:
Political violence targeting Donald Trump and Elon Musk is becoming increasingly normalized. Following the July 13, 2024 attempted assassination of President Trump, tolerance – and even advocacy – for political violence appears to have surged, especially among politically left-leaning segments of the population. This pattern builds on a broader trend NCRI identified in two
Irish Independent [Dublin, Ireland], by Caroline O'Doherty Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/7/2025 5:00:23 PM Can I get a cut, blow-dry and a crash course in climate please?
That could be the request in salons across the country under a scheme that aims to train hairdressers and barbers to get conversations going about one of the most hair-raising issues facing humanity.
‘A Brush With Climate’ is inspired by a movement that started in Sydney, Australia when a salon owner looked to see how to use their renowned conversational skills to get chats going about solutions to the climate crisis.
Four towns are to be chosen under the pilot scheme with local hairdressers and barbers invited to become involved.
University College Cork is overseeing the project
Outkick, by Dan Zaksheske Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/7/2025 2:42:15 PM When Ultimate Pool crowns a women's champion for the Pro Series event on Sunday, the winner will be a biological male. That's because both the finalists, Harriet Haynes and Lucy Smith, are males who "identify" as women.
Haynes finished the 2024 season as the top-ranked women's player in the Ultimate Pool Pro Series and appears on the way to defending that title in 2025. Haynes also finished as the top-ranked player in 2022 and finished second in 2023. Lucy Smith finished sixth in 2024 and fifth in 2023.
The winner of the event receives 1,800 pounds (about $2,320) and second place gets 900 pounds (about $1,160), according to
Red State, by Rusty Weiss Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/6/2025 9:54:58 AM Elie Mystal, a far-left columnist for The Nation, is so petrified of the Trump administration snatching him off the street because of his articles that he has allegedly hired security to keep him safe.
This, according to Mystal himself.
The author of the new book "Bad Law: Ten Popular Laws That Are Ruining America" appeared with Charlamagne the God on "The Breakfast Club" late last week and promptly demonstrated little to no grasp of current law.
Mystal is not an illegal immigrant (he was born in Queens, and his father was a prominent political figure in Suffolk County, New York—a legal Haitian migrant), nor does he have a student visa.
Power Line, by John Hinderaker Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/5/2025 7:54:35 AM Earlier this week, Matt Taibbi was called as a witness by the Republican majority of a subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Before his testimony began, Democratic Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove slandered him:
Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a Democrat representing California’s 37th district in Los Angeles, began her opening remarks in a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing Tuesday with a comment directed to me. “To distract from the dumpster fire this administration is pursuing,” she said, the Republicans were “elevating a serial sexual harrasser as their star witness.”
That assertion was an outrageous lie, but presumably Ms. Kamlager-Dove believed she was protected by the Constitution’s Speech and Debate Clause,
Hot Air, by David Strom Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/4/2025 6:59:07 AM You would think that geeks would spend their time and effort on geeking out.
But when it comes to Trump Derangement Syndrome, even the geeks get distracted by their need to virtue signal, get political, and spin things.
I used to read a lot of tech blogs, but over the past few years I have cut more and more of them out of my regular reading rotation. The first reason was that I would go to read up on the latest neat stuff and suddenly be treated to glowing reviews of sex toys and masturbation aids, and I was afraid that soon enough, I would be given top 10 lists
Power Line, by John Hinderaker Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/3/2025 12:01:19 PM The White House press corps declared war on the Trump administration on Inauguration Day, and the administration has responded, but only mildly. Most recently, by taking control over the seating of reporters in the White House briefing room. You might think that something so trivial would not engage the attention of the Left, but you would be wrong.
Semafor reports: “Journalists consider briefing room sit-in as Trump clashes with White House press corps.”
"The Trump administration’s proposal to take over the seating arrangement within the White House press briefing room has rattled the journalists who cover the president and left them mulling how exactly to push back.
Power Line, by John Hinderaker Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/2/2025 5:14:12 PM Democrats thought they had a great issue in the high price of eggs, due mostly to avian bird flu. In January, they were touting record-high egg prices as proof of the failure of Trump’s administration–even though the figures released in January were for December, before Trump’s inauguration.
Weirdly, the Democrats’ harping on eggs has continued even as the price has plummeted, as in this LA Times column, published on March 8:
"As their party struggles to navigate the early days of Donald Trump’s second presidency, some Democrats are convinced that their road to recovery lies in the price of eggs.
Instead of leaning into Trump’s tear-down of
Red State, by Rusty Weiss Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/2/2025 9:31:43 AM DOGE Chief Elon Musk revealed that those funding violent attacks against Tesla dealerships have been identified and suggested criminal charges would be imminent.
Musk appeared on Tuesday for an interview with the "The Five" panel to discuss a wide range of topics. Kennedy asked him about the ongoing violence directed at Tesla, wondering how Musk could possibly "talk the unhinged off the ledge."
"It is remarkable that there is so much violence," he replied. "People have burnt cars, they've fired bullets into dealerships. They have scratched swastikas into Teslas of innocent people that—that are just going about their lives."
Daily Mail (UK), by Andy Young Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/1/2025 10:16:11 AM Prince Andrew sexual abuse accuser Virginia Guiffre's claims that a car crash has left her in hospital with just four days to live will raise uncomfortable questions around her credibility - if it transpires that she has exaggerated her injuries - friends of the duke have told MailOnline.
Ms Giuffre posted a photo of her bruised face lying on a hospital bed on Instagram and said doctors told her she is going to die due to kidney failure following the wreck.
'This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won't bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when
City Journal, by Kyle Shideler Original Article Posted by Hazymac — 4/1/2025 9:43:50 AM Last week, the New York Post reported that “DOGEQUEST,” an anonymous website, had published a partial list of Tesla owners’ names, addresses, and phone numbers. The site, since deleted, featured a Molotov cocktail image as a cursor, and a map of supposed Tesla owners and “DOGE landmarks.”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk described the doxxing site as an example of “extreme domestic terrorism;” the White House agreed. In the Department of Justice’s press release announcing charges against three suspected Tesla arsonists, Attorney General Pam Bondi warned would-be criminals, “if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
