About three decades ago, California political legend Willie Brown introduced Donald Trump to his latest mistress, Kamala Harris, when Trump gave Willie and his entourage a lift on his jet so he could ask advice from the expert himself on how to get around California’s notorious regulators on a hotel deal he was pondering. It appears that Trump made the not-unreasonable snap judgment that Willie’s nice-looking young beige woman of indeterminate ethnicity with the Hindu first name must be a South Asian.(sniip)Her Stanford professor father is the kind of person who is referred to as “black” in America and “white” in Jamaica.)

Lifght enough to join a particular black sorority. Black enough for AA admission to Hastings Law. Whatever works in the System. That's Kamala. JD Vance has called her a "chameleon"... She has no relationship to the descendants of slaves. Her one drop of blackness is elite in nature. Elsewhere I read there was a Jamaican slave owner in her family...

So to join that sorority your skin color has to be lighter than a lunch sack? How do people come up with these obnoxious ideas? This is a very interesting article, should probably be in must reads. Well worth the time to read.

FTA:
While about 8 percent, or about 530, of Harvard’s undergraduates were black, Lani Guinier, a Harvard law professor, and Henry Louis Gates Jr., the chairman of Harvard’s African and African-American studies department, pointed out that the majority of them—perhaps as many as two-thirds—were West Indian and African immigrants or their children, or to a lesser extent, children of biracial couples.
They said that only about a third of the students were from families in which all four grandparents were born in this country, descendants of slaves. Many argue that it was students like these, disadvantaged by the legacy of Jim Crow laws, segregation and decades of racism, poverty and inferior schools, who were intended as principal beneficiaries of affirmative action in university admissions.
The second paragraph is what most presume are the target, thus, beneficiaries, of AA programs.
Sounds like they've strayed significantly over the last 40+ years from the intention of the AA programs original goals.
Presume they didn't want to lose the program so used "alternative" candidates to fill out the ranks which made them feel like they were "doing something" and made them feel good even though they likely knew it wasn't truly fulfilling the goal and impacting African-Americans who do have slavery in their family history.

A close relative, who is married to a Brazilian woman, ascertained that there is no legal definition for being "black." Thus, because his wife's DNA was a stewpot of ethnicities, he trained his kids (of various pigmentations) to specify "black" on any college-related applications. It worked fabulously. Two have graduated from an Ivy League university, and two from a military academy. It pays to exploit the racial inequality system.

It seems that Taki has gone over to the Dark side! Sailer's "never-Trumper' side burst through midway thru the article!

This issue, of course, is one of many that make reparations for slavery impossible to implement. Do we adhere to the One-Drop Rule so that a larger percentage of Americans and non-Americans qualify? Oh, so, so many problems. Whose going to solve the issue? Companies like 23andMe?
Ha! No. This known "dead-on-arrival" issue will continue as a political tool because the elites and the media (I repeat myself) allow it to happen.

Excellent explanation, #4. Harvard attempted to fill in the AA ranks but it was not possible with available candidates so they did what all universities had to do to create an acceptable number of graduates, lower the standards in both admissions and requirements for graduation. Henry Louis Gates Jr. is one of the most racist blacks in the country and there are many of them in elevated positions to keep the facade going.

This is all getting pretty confusing. Perhaps we need some kind of government committee to prepare a Guideline for Proper Social Interaction. (I'm joking).
When meeting a new colleague or acquaintance are we supposed to immediately ask what is their percentage of ethnicity? What if they don't know or don't care? Would Walz be setting up a hotline to report questionable ethnicities or would we be required to carry around a covid-like card acknowledging our chosen racial colors on a scale of 1-10? Would this be a OneWorld Decree so we're sure everyone on the planet is treated in a consistent manner and ranked accordingly? Would a person who is ½ Chinese be positioned in a higher or lower level than a ¼ Kenyan and ¼ Indonesian? Or? Or? Or? Couldn't we all just be Americans again?

There is nothing confusing about a person's ise of the "one drop rule" to gain an advantage. Kamala is pulling it after years as an East Indian. Obie pulled it. The list goes on... and it will as long as whites permit AA pandering and advantage.

I disagree with the author that obama was half-black....his mother was white ...and b. hussein obama, sr ( IF he was the real father) claimed to be half -arab...??...so doing the math , obama was also only 1/4 black ... ( unless you believe that just because he's a dead-ringer for noted communist /mentor Frank Marshall Davis ..that HE was zippy's father...THEN he's half -black )

Keep it coming...so now WE find out she's not black or brown...but beige....she needs to take a DNA test...like President Trump called out senator Pocahontas to take and fail...com'on ole girl...step up to the plate...you're up to bat....no wonder obama is upset... he's really half black from his father in Kenya and half white from his wandering mother....

-1- as we've been given to believe, she is the descendant of slave owners.
these slave owners held some of the largest collections of enslaved humans in the caribbean.
going back in time, that ancestor, afaik, was a scotsman-- named hamilton, who was part hindu,
then living in the bahamas.
back then, the bahamas presumably would have been a possession of the english crown.
he refused to give up the slaves unless, and until, he was financially compensated [bought off]...? by that gov't.
