Vice President Kamala Harris has not given one interview or press conference to the media in the 17 days since she joined the presidential race.
She has given a few speeches, in which she has repeated the same script — first to campaign headquarters, then to party supporters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she introduced running mate Tim Walz on Tuesday.
Her only unscripted remarks came last week at Andrews Air Force Base, when she joined President Joe Biden to welcome Americans who had been freedom from Russia in a prisoner swap.
Harris, in her characteristic style, made circular remarks

Donald Trump praised Tim Walz’s response as Minnesota governor to civil justice protests in 2020, undercutting a Republican line of attack against the newly minted vice presidential candidate, according to a recording that emerged Wednesday.
Trump — who wanted state authorities to take tough measures to address the civil unrest that erupted around the nation in response to the killing by police of George Floyd in Minneapolis — told governors on a conference call that Walz responded well.
“I know Gov. Walz is on the phone, and we spoke, and I fully agree with the way he handled it the last couple of days,” he said,

Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have adopted an interesting strategy for winning the presidency. The campaign is showcasing a conspicuous shift in tone and strategy: Projecting an image of positivity and joy.
It appears the media has already gotten the memo and is actively helping to brand the Harris/Walz campaign as “happy warriors” fighting for the American people. It’s an interesting approach, but will it be enough to secure a victory for Harris?
When Harris announced Walz as her running mate in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the two candidates adopted a more positive messaging approach. “We are joyful warriors,” Harris declared to raucous applause

I argued with anyone who said that, just because "President" Biden had chosen not to run for re-election, he was therefore unfit to serve out his term as president and needed to step down at once. My argument was that it's perfectly possible for an 82-year-old to be a fit leader for another five months while also acknowledging that another four and a half years would be too much. And I stand by that argument because it was always hypothetical; it could be true for any 82-year-old.

The latest Hollywood script revision has dropped — it’s Tim Walz, not Josh Shapiro — and left-wing celebrity influencers are falling in line to learn their new talking points: he’s “awesome,” “irresistible,” “strong,” and a “winner.”
There’s a “joyous feeling” going around the country. Even, “I’m Walzing on air!”
As recently as yesterday, Hollywood elites seemed pretty convinced that Kamala Harris was going to pick Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) as her vice presidential running mate. Deadline even reported that Shapiro’s name was “echoed around town” as an almost certainty.

Have you heard about Tim Walz’s folksiness?
Surely you’ve noticed the “folksy demeanor” and “folksy manner” and “folksy appeal” and “folksy mannerisms” of this “folksy former soldier?” If you somehow missed it, the “folksy governor of Minnesota” exudes a “folksy … informal vibe” and “folksy relatability.” But don’t forget his “folksy rebukes” and “folksy plain-spoken and sharp-tongued approach,” either. Kamala Harris’ vice presidential pick is a dedicated cultural and economic leftist who happens to inhabit the body of an average middle-aged bowling team drinking buddy.

The true beliefs of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are becoming clearer by the day as the highest executive in the Land of 10,000 Lakes finds himself in the national spotlight after being tapped as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.
In the days since Harris’ decision, old videos and quotes from Walz are appearing at the forefront of public discourse as Americans try to figure out exactly who the governor is.
A recently-resurfaced clip hints how extremely “progressive” Walz is, a position he admits is too radical for some Democrats.

Todd said, “[A]t a minimum, I think what the Trump campaign is hoping to do is make it harder to send him into a military community, make it so that this story, so when he goes to North Carolina to try to woo — where I think he could be helpful — to woo military veterans or goes to an Arizona, goes to a Georgia, … that, at a minimum, this story trails him.

Newly unearthed court documents from 2022 reveal significant contradictions from Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz’s (D-MN) claims from when he was arrested for driving under the influence. He also claimed he was “not drunk,” despite failing a field sobriety test and a preliminary breath test.

The concept in journalism of offering your platform for a diversity of voices and alternative opinions is generally a noble pursuit. But this does not mean that in that process, you need to abandon the use of common sense and subjective editorial oversight. I say this because it appears that at the New York Times, they just flung open their op-ed space to anyone with a modicum of literacy while displaying a rather imbalanced mindset.
I say this based on a recent “guest essay” that appeared in the opinion pages of the Times, written by book author Belle Boggs. Her entry is about an episode that transpired inside her home,

On August 2, many news outlets reported that the autopsy of Thomas Matthew Crooks had been released by the Butler County Coroner’s Office. The fact is that mainstream media are late to the party, and the Butler County Coroner’s Office released the cause and manner of death of Thomas Matthew Crooks to AbleChild nearly two weeks earlier on July 21.
Unfortunately, what the mainstream media don’t understand is that the cause and manner of death are not an autopsy, and although an autopsy has already been conducted on the alleged body of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the results of that autopsy may never see the light of day.

It’s the Trump policy agenda, stupid. That’s how to beat Vice President Kamala Harris — with policy arguments, not gratuitous personal attacks.
Over 90% of voters have made up their minds. The 2024 presidential election will be determined in a handful of battleground states by a few hundred thousand votes, and Ms. Harris’ best chance of winning will be to consolidate Democratic women, successfully woo independent women and peel off a fraction of Republican women.
Republican politicians, TV commentators and radio talk show hosts who play the Willie Brown card ridicule the Harris cackle or demean Ms. Harris as a diversity, equity and inclusion hire, which will only advance her strategy.

There’s a reason nobody expected far-left Kamala Harris to pick a far-left governor from a deep blue state as her running mate. It’s never worked.
In the wake of Jimmy Carter’s crushing defeat in 1980 and repeated Democratic losses thereafter, the party decided that to win presidential elections they had to at least appear as moderates.
Bill Clinton won by labeling himself a “new Democrat” and picked Al Gore, then a fellow moderate Southerner. Gore in turn tapped Joe Lieberman as his running mate. Barack Obama tried to position himself to the right of John McCain and ran with Scranton Joe Biden. Hillary Clinton picked

Gov. Tim Walz signed a law that strips parental protections from out-of-state teenagers and children who claim to want irreversible transgender medical treatment in Minnesota.
He also signed laws that install tampon-dispensing machines in K-12 schools to broadcast the state’s claim that teenage girls can choose their legal sex, and also a law that allows pedophilia to be someday legally protected under existing state anti-discrimination laws. President Donald Trump’s campaign is eagerly spotlighting Walz’s pro-transgender advocacy, and is describing him as “#TamponTim.”

Social media users appear to be divided as educators are revealing online how they are altering the way in which they teach young students the "ABCs."
Different from the classic "Alphabet Song," the latest version is switched up by separating the letters into different groups and changing the ending to, "Now I will never forget, I know how to say the alphabet."
On TikTok, literacy advocate and Florida resident Jessica Farmer shared a video of herself singing the "new" song on her account, @Farmerlovesphonics.

JD Vance appeared on the Sean Hannity show tonight and said that one of the questions he is asked the most by voters is why it is so difficult for Americans to buy a house and become homeowners.
He absolutely nailed the explanation in a very direct answer, which he laid directly at the feet of Kamala Harris and her party.
Vance explained that the two main problems are the flood of illegal immigrants into the country who make competition for housing much worse. And secondly, high interest rates which make purchasing a home that much more difficult.

Democrat Presidential candidate Kamala Harris made an odd sporting comparison between her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), calling it a match between the “varsity team and the JV squad.”
Harris made the comparison during her announcement of Walz as her VP pick on Tuesday, and referred to his time as a high school football coach. “When you compare Walz’s resume to Trump’s running mate, well, some might say it’s like a matchup between the varsity team and the JV squad!” she said before laughing.

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard may be on the watchlist of a secret domestic surveillance program designed to sniff out potential terrorists. And it may be related, in part, to her willingness to speak out about Vice President Kamala Harris’s shortcomings as a leader.Undercover DC is reporting that several Federal Air Marshal whistleblowers have come forward with information showing that Gabbard is enrolled in the TSA’s Quiet Skies program which has its own compartmentalized watchlist of suspected terrorists.

[T]he Biden-Harris administration has not only been vacillating on military support for Israel, but also endeavouring to micromanage Israel's war operation. A tragic outcome of these haphazard policies is that they are resulting in more deaths, prolonging the war and delaying Hamas's release of the hostages.
The vacillation and political gamesmanship by the Biden-Harris team have only encouraged Iran to develop its nuclear weapons for what the mullahs apparently plan to be the destruction of Israel and ultimately the US.

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Lamont, California, on Tuesday night and rumbled through a broad stretch of Southern California, including Los Angeles. The US Geological Survey reported the earthquake’s epicenter hit about 15 miles southwest of Lamont – and roughly 25 miles south of Bakersfield – around 9:09 p.m. PT. The survey earlier rated the earthquake a 5.3 magnitude but later downgraded it to 5.2. (Snip) “One of the myths is that the small earthquakes release energy and make a big earthquake less likely, and that is not true,” Jones said. “So I think it’s a good time to remind

According to the data, five percent of the global Syrian population now live in Germany alone, accounting for a “16-fold” increase in just a decade, which works out to be a staggering 1,520% jump in the numbers; here’s the story from a new report by the editorial staff at Remix News:
Ever since the 2015/16 migrant crisis, Syrians have arrived in Germany in ever-increasing numbers, and now number at least 972,000 at the end of 2023, according to Statista. There are 22 million Syrians living in Syria itself, meaning those in Germany represent nearly 1 for every 20 in their native country.

There's stupid, and there's Harris-Biden administration stupid, and now the U.S. is about to get it good and hard a second time from the deal the White House cut with Venezuela's dictator against all advice from diplomatic experts who understand that regime.
According to Miami-based news outlet UHN Plus:Here's a Google translate:
THE LATEST Dictator Nicolás Maduro said that if the United States continues with its “madness” of imposing a Guaidó 2.0 in Venezuela, the oil and gas fields signed with them would pass into the hands of the BRICS.

Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of “embellishing” his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit’s 2005 deployment to Iraq.
In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018 as he first ran for governor, retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said Walz retired from his 24-year tenure in the National Guard after learning that his battalion would be deployed to Iraq, despite allegedly assuring his fellow troops he would join them.

Barack Obama tried to position himself to the right of John McCain and ran with Scranton Joe Biden,

“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U.S., whose Presidency was Unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and others on the Lunatic Left, CRASHES the Democrat National Convention and tries to take back the Nomination, beginning with challenging me to another DEBATE. Progressives suffered a major blow in Tuesday night’s primaries as Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) became the second “squad” member to lose to a challenger this cycle.
Coming just hours after Vice President Harris announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate in a move seen as a win for the progressive wing of the party, Bush’s loss put internal party frictions over the Israel-Hamas war on full display. Along with Missouri, voters also headed to the polls in Kansas, Michigan and Washington state to set up key matchups for November.
Here are five takeaways:

Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to serve as her running mate in the 2024 presidential race. [SNIP] As governor, some of Walz’ political accomplishments include ensuring tuition-free meals at participating state universities, enshrining abortion rights into state law, banning conversion therapy and providing protections for gender-affirming healthcare. [SNIP] Walz also signed a bill last May expanding voting rights in Minnesota for an estimated 55,000 formerly incarcerated residents.

Even before Kamala Harris picked left-wing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, reporters were catching wind of Kamala Harris's honeymoon period ending. That timeline might have been pushed up with Walz, a midwestern version of Lenin. The Democratic Party opted for political suicide instead of picking Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, which was everyone’s choice because it made the most sense. We all forgot that Kamala Harris is an idiot. For those who wonder why her campaign imploded before the 2020 primaries began, this is why: she makes horrific decisions, among other things. Last night, Associated Press reporter Michelle Price warned that Harris’

This is an amazing reminder of how much has happened to the Democrats in this election in just a month.
At the beginning of July, Joe Biden was still the presumptive Democrat nominee but rank and file Democrats and their media allies were in total panic over Biden’s diminished mental state which had just been exposed for all to see.
As a result, Democrat governors from all over the country came to Washington, DC to meet with Joe Biden at the White House. Several of these governors emerged from the meeting and insisted that Joe Biden was just fine to run for reelection.

The media’s drooling over Kamala Harris for making Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz her running mate exposes the big picture: Democrats are offering voters the most far-left ticket a major American party has ever devised.
All the DEI boxes are checked, but there is no ideological or political diversity.
They are two people who are physically different but share a single radical viewpoint.
The contrast with just four years ago is stunning.
Then, Joe Biden was depicted as a centrist who picked Harris because of her biracial status and gender and also because she checked the progressive box with her left-coast policies.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), who was unveiled Tuesday as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, said last week that former President Donald Trump was a “threat to democracy,” and called Republicans “fascist.”
Walz seemed unperturbed by the fact that such hostile, incendiary rhetoric has been widely blamed for creating the context of fear and hatred in which a gunman tried to kill Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania just weeks before. Walz parroted the Democratic Party talking point that Trump and running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) are “weird.” But he continued: These guys are just weird. [Laughter] That’s who they are. It isn’t much else.

A lot of people don't realize that George Washington didn't win the Revolutionary War by being a master class tactician. His reputation as one is kind of mixed, actually. His main strength came from being able to pull his army through difficult times that would have stopped other armies cold. He outlasted his opponent until they succumbed to the problems he overcame through sheer grit and determination. Your opponent can be larger, better funded, well-connected, and technologically superior, but if you can last five minutes longer than they can, then all their advantages don't matter.
