The Middle East on the Brink. Plus. . .

On Saturday evening a Hezbollah rocket killed 12 children on a soccer field in the town of Majdal Shams, on the Golan Heights in northern Israel. For many months it has been said that Israel is “on the brink” of all-out war with Hezbollah. It’s been repeated so often that the phrase has lost its urgency. I wrote it myself here in January after spending time in the eerily depopulated swath of the country just north of my parents’ town, Nahariya, in easy rocket range near the Lebanon border.

The countries that shield the terrorists are guilty of terrorism themselves. Hezbollah, Hamas, Houtti's are all living and operating in these countries with the permission of those countries. Just like Dearborn is in our own country. If the Government allows these people to stay there they are as guilty as the terrorists.

Zero and his puppet the Sniffer sent pallets of American Taxpayer Cash to Iran, and also let Iran make Billion$ selling oil to China, with no repercussions on China. Iran, flush with ca$h, then funds the Terrorists. So "The Middle East is On the Brink".... again!

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran by what the terrorist group said was an airstrike carried out by Israel early Wednesday morning as Iran’s Supreme Leader has vowed revenge. Haniyeh, who was one of the most senior Hamas officials, was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president when he was killed, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced. The Revolutionary Guards did not comment on how or who killed Haniyeh, but Hamas pointed the finger at Israel, stating the leader was killed “in a Zionist airstrike on his residence in Tehran after he participated in the inauguration of Iran’s new president.”
Team Harris Swears Kamala Won’t Kill

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has said she no longer endorses a ban on fracking, but political strategists and energy experts say the sudden policy shift will do little to move the needle with key voters in November. Harris said in 2020 there is “no question” she would end fracking if elected president, but her campaign recently told The Hill she no longer wants to outlaw the practice after videos of her endorsing a ban resurfaced following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race. The campaign can walk back Harris’ old fracking position as it pleases,

Since October 7.... the total of US taxpayer funds donated to Gaza as a reward since the massacre on October 7 to $896 million, or close to a billion dollars. A lawsuit, brought in December 2022 and updated in March 2024, by Rep. Ronny Jackson and victims of terror attacks in Israel, alleges that President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken "knowingly and unlawfully" provided more than $1.5 billion in aid to Gaza and the West Bank since taking office. Biden and Blinken have "known for years" that the US aid is providing "material support" for Hamas' "tunnels, rockets, weapon procurement, and command and control infrastructure,"

Kamala Harris is enjoying a honeymoon of sorts — the media handmaidens are giddy with excitement over her TikTok coconut memes. She is girl power personified, the female Obama, a strutting, dancing, exuberant Wonder Woman gushing on the phone with her besties Michelle and Barack. The belated endorsement by the Obamas caught on camera and pumped out on social media in a cringe-inducing campaign video last week was typical of her terminal inauthenticity and social ineptitude. The two Obamas haughtily uttered 55 words between them and were on the phone for a total of 20 seconds, but Kamala cooed and gushed so effusively you would think she had just won an Oscar.

Once again, the Democrats are offering up a woman candidate for president. And once again it is an unlikeable candidate who owes her career to a far more skillful male politician. In Hillary’s case, it is her husband Bill, a charismatic personality adept at the game. In Harris’ case, it was her lover Willie Brown who boosted her up the ladder and showered her with expensive gifts. When in 2019 Harris ran for president, she was highly promoted by the media but drew little support and dropped out quickly. The Los Angeles Times said she never should have even entered the race.

If you've had the stomach to watch the news for the last two weeks, you've likely noticed the Pravda press media mudpuppies trying to spin Trump's dauntless response to an assassin's bullet into a "meh" moment. Just when you thought MSNBC's Joy Reid couldn't possibly dishonor herself to a lower level of putrid, she took humiliation to a whole new level of cringe. Watch Reid majestically beclown herself as she suggests Joe Biden's "recovery" from an alleged case of the Bat stew flu is equal to Trump taking a bullet—bonus points for questioning whether Trump was actually shot in the first place.

France’s high-speed rail network was hit Friday with widespread and “criminal” acts of vandalism including arson attacks, paralyzing travel to Paris from across the rest of France and Europe only hours before the grand opening ceremony of the Olympics. French officials described the attacks as “criminal actions” and said they were investigating whether they were linked to the Olympic Games. The disruptions as the world’s eye was turning to Paris were expected to affect a quarter of a million people alone on Friday and endure through the weekend, and possibly longer, officials said.

Former President Barack Obama, one of the most prominent holdouts among Democratic party luminaries, and his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, have officially given Vice President Kamala Harris their endorsement for the presidency. Obama, 62, who had at least one publicly known call with Harris on Sunday, lavished praise on her, saying she has the “vision, the character, and the strength that this critical moment demands.” “Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend @KamalaHarris,” the former POTUS wrote on X Friday.

The president hasn’t been seen in public since last Wednesday when he traveled to his Delaware vacation home to recuperate from COVID-19 and is expected to return to the White House Tuesday afternoon. Biden will address the nation tomorrow about dropping out of the presidential race.

One of my great peeves of the Trump era is the Greenland effect. I belong to a small group of people who think America should peacefully acquire Greenland. It’s an old idea. The State Department pitched buying the vast arctic island in 1946, but the Danes didn’t want to sell their colony, alas. But given its strategic and economic value, it’s worth revisiting.

According to the website Michigan News Source, the group Republican Voters Against Trump is rolling out a campaign featuring disgruntled GOP voters who are standing with Kamala Harris this election. "Fiddlesticks," say you? Watch the ad below, says I. [Video] In addition to the ad above, Michigan News Source said the PAC had started a $500,000 billboard campaign in several swing states. The campaign is aimed at getting Trump voters to switch sides (and presumably sell their souls) and join Team Harris. The campaign includes 76 billboards showing alleged former Trump voters from Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin with the message:

Harris received President Joe Biden’s endorsement after he announced that he would not seek reelection.

I guess all I’m saying, for all the problems and calling her a loon and all that, and I get it. I know it’s political season, and that happens on both sides.”Kennedy said, “You’re putting words in my mouth. I said, she’s a member, she’s a member of the loon wing of the Democratic Party.

It's one of the wealthiest states in America, with residents of its fanciest zip code luxuriating in $3 million red-brick apartments. But the writing is on the wall for Massachusetts, says an alarming new study. The 50,000 non-legal migrants who've entered the state since Joe Biden became president are putting a costly strain on schools, healthcare, and other services. Jessica Vaughan, author of the report for the Center for Immigration Studies, says the state is destined for bankruptcy. That's because migrants will drain state coffers of a staggering $1.8 trillion over the next two years.

We're now getting some new details about how Democrats pressured Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race. We previously reported that there was talk about invoking the 25th Amendment, but new details, assuming they are true, add another layer of intrigue. According to veteran Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh, who has written for The New Yorker and The New York Times, there is no way you can describe what happened to Biden as anything but a coup. Here's how it went down, following Biden's shortened visit to Las Vegas on July 17, according to Hersh:

With a woman of color on the Democratic ticket, progressives have fallen back on their worst instincts: performative allyship and race essentialism. Politics by segregation. Last week, Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts organized a massive Zoom meeting — “White Women: Answer the Call” — for Kamala Harris. On the call, which drew over 200,000 participants, reportedly raised $2 million and has been dubbed the largest Zoom in history, Watts declared (with great humility, of course):

The two political parties in the state have called for the Georgia election board to go from using Dominion Voting Systems’ electronic voting machines to using hand-marked paper ballots, according to 11Alive News. The groups have noted how easily hackers can “manipulate elections.” After the 2020 presidential election, Dominion filed a lawsuit claiming that Fox News had suggested that the company had rigged the voting machines, leading to former President Donald Trump losing the election to President Joe Biden.
