America’s Lab Rats?

Half the country thinks something has gone drastically wrong in America, to the point that it is rapidly becoming unrecognizable. No, we're not lab rats in some grand research project. That ship sailed a long time ago. Like every other communist, marxist or socialist country, the transformation takes time. Think Cuba or Venezuela. That's the model Barack Hussein Obama is emulating. Once proud economically strong countries bow to the utopia promised by the hypocrites like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and now Obama, aka "Barry Sotero", aka "The Thin Man". Wake up already.

A concise explanation of the current dilemma we find ourselves in (just as you'd expect from VDH). The problem is - what are we going to do about it? The most elegant and effective solution was posited by Ayn Rand - we in flyover country must shrug. As long as the technocrats can reliably count on us to show up and fix their infrastructure (be it roads, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and build the housing for our replacements then the game continues. As VDH points out, there's far too much money concentrated in the hands of liberal elites for us to overcome by grassroots means - whether for political change or trying to change the dynamic from the inside. They aren't going to let enough of us become rich enough to threaten their hegemony - our candidates, our values, and even our lives must be crushed. A hot civil war lies down one fork in the road so we must look down another one for our path. Instead of lamenting the failed cities, we should focus on accelerating their demise - the feral packs of criminals will handle the messy tasks as mayors and the last vestiges of woke LEOs retreat to their safe (for now) enclaves. Red flyover country should begin a quiet program of only trading among themselves and shunning the blue cancers in their midst. There has to be a solution that doesn't require us to take up arms against our own countrymen... greyseal

We were literally lab rats for Faux-Chi and big pharma when they rolled out the inadequately tested Corvid shots and shadow banned know cures for the Wuhan flu so they could kill us of, line their pockets, and make it easier to steal the 2020 election.

‘Kamala Harris’ For President

If the candidate was as compelling as the media pretends, they wouldn’t have to completely reinvent her. Remember that time Joe Biden named Vice President Kamala Harris the border czar, and we all watched her fail to do anything about the crisis? You only think you do. Because Harris was never a czar. Not technically, since we don’t have czars in the United States. Everyone knows that. When Joe promised Kamala would “lead our efforts” to fix the border crisis, what he really meant was that the vice president would research some of the “root causes” during weekends, and maybe take a few diplomatic trips or whatnot. But czar, c’mon.

As Michael Kinsley defined it, a gaffe occurs when a politician accidentally tells the truth. Joe Biden passed the test when he explained why he was pushing a radical overhaul of the Supreme Court. It’s because Donald Trump made him do it. As Biden might say, “No joke, I’m serious!” The cognitively challenged president has been shoved to the back of the bus after being driven out of the race by undemocratic Dems, which is perhaps why he admitted the truth. Whatever the reason, Biden’s confession Monday at the LBJ Presidential Library perfectly captures the cause of the turmoil that has reshaped American public life in the last nine years.

Grassroots activists are warning Republicans that while former President Donald Trump has surged in momentum lately, the “belief that Democrats are in such disarray” following President Joe Biden’s ouster from the race could lead to dangerous “complacency.” Trump currently leads Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, by 3 points nationwide, according to a recent CNN poll. RealClearPolitics has Trump up 2.1 percentage points in its polling average. But if President Joe Biden could win an election from his basement, and if Sen. John Fetterman could win his election despite being severely impaired from a stroke, then Harris can easily win this November if Republicans

Long queues of voters gathered at various ballot stations even ahead of the polls opening at 6 a.m. (1000 GMT), the French news agency AFP reported. Polls are due to remain open until 6 p.m. Around 21 million Venezuelans are registered to vote. Tens of thousands of security forces have been deployed, with border control ramped up and public gatherings and protests banned.

Recently, I wrote a Hill column criticizing NewsGuard, a rating operation being used to warn users, advertisers, educators and funders away from media outlets based on how it views the outlets’ “credibility and transparency.” Roughly a week later, NewsGuard came knocking at my door. My blog, Res Ipsa (jonathanturley.org), is now being reviewed and the questions sent by NewsGuard were alarming, but not surprising. I do not know whether the sudden interest in my site was prompted by my column. I have previously criticized NewsGuard as one of the most sophisticated operations being used to “white list” and “black list” sites.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. should be remembered as a failed president, a cringy blowhard senator, perhaps the most shameless fabulist in American political history, the patriarch of a shady family, and a preternatural liar who couldn’t hold a single consistent principled position in his very long career. Of course they’re going to try to canonize him. Almost a week after breaking up with voters in a letter, Biden finally addressed the nation without bothering to explain why he abandoned the race. Doing so would have entailed admitting his declining mental and physical state. But, true to form, the president used the Oval Office,

Could this be Trump's plan for establishing peace in Ukraine and Europe? Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and David J. Urban, a former advisor to Trump's campaigns in 2016 and 2020, published an article last night in the Wall Street Journal, outlining what might be the Republican administration's plan if Trump is elected president. Israel is also mentioned in the plan. According to the authors, "While Mr. Biden stumbled into war through weakness, Mr. Trump could re-establish peace through strength." So what is required to achieve said peace? The authors list seven steps:

It looked for all the world as though Biden would survive his June 27 debate debacle. Biden had revealed himself to be woefully unprepared to challenge Donald Trump effectively in what many have called the most significant election of our lifetimes. Republicans warned that Biden was showing signs of senility or even dementia, and even Democrats worried

In March 2020, all the major Democratic primary candidates abruptly, mysteriously, and in near unison withdrew from the presidential race, ceding the nomination to Joe Biden. Yet Biden had lost the first three races in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada—and only won his first victory in South Carolina. Suddenly, on the eve of the Super Tuesday mega-primaries, the candidacies of front-runner Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and others simply evaporated. The fear of a front-runner Sanders’ socialist victory and nomination—and thus an enviable landslide loss to incumbent Donald Trump in the general election—had prompted the donor class and shadowy political insiders to act.

One of my great peeves of the Trump era is the Greenland effect. I belong to a small group of people who think America should peacefully acquire Greenland. It’s an old idea. The State Department pitched buying the vast arctic island in 1946, but the Danes didn’t want to sell their colony, alas. But given its strategic and economic value, it’s worth revisiting.

Last week, Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts organized a massive Zoom meeting — “White Women: Answer the Call” — for Kamala Harris. The groups have noted how easily hackers can “manipulate elections.” After the 2020 presidential election, Dominion filed a lawsuit claiming that Fox News had suggested that the company had rigged the voting machines, leading to former President Donald Trump losing the election to President Joe Biden.
