Elon Musk's SpaceX turned a smallbore squabble about an alleged unfair labor practice into a massive assault on the administrative state that could result in the entire enforcement structure of the National Labor Relations Board being declared unconstitutional. In an opinion released Thursday, US District Judge Alan Albright of the Western District of Texas, a Trump appointee, ruled that SpaceX "has demonstrated a substantial likelihood of success on its claims that Congress has impermissibly protected both the NLRB Members and the NLRB ALJs from the President’s Article II power of removal." The case started with SpaceX firing eight engineers for circulating a letter criticizing Musk for alleged "sexist conduct"

Elon Musk is a certified genius and a very generous man. On the other hand every federal agency is lead by a vast number of mean, wicked, cruel and heartless deceivers who are at best dishonest, money-hungry unelected bureaucrats of questionable heritage.

I thought that When SCOTUS made those original decisions effectively stating that the PRESIDENT is in charge of the executive branch, PERIOD! that there would be a flood of corrective actions that would flow from it. This is the foundation of the unraveling of the Deep State's power. When the President says "JUMP" an agency's response can ONLY be "How high sir? ". When Trump is elected, there is going to be a flood of redirective orders issued that will be fought in courts and will ultimately go the President's way. The agencies and the media will scream but the stage has already been set.

Vance Pounces on Kamala Effectively 1 reply
Posted by Dreadnought 7/28/2024 7:10:10 PM Post Reply
From the moment Kamala Harris became her party's de facto nominee for the presidency, her team began cranking out advertisements attacking Donald Trump as you would expect. But she's also been attacking JD Vance as well. In one recent ad, Harris somberly warns the country that if her opponents are elected, Vance will be loyal only to Donald Trump, not to America. It's certainly true that loyalty is an attribute that Trump values highly, but going after Vance in this fashion was an obvious mistake. He's a Marine, after all, not to mention being a job creator. Accusing him of a lack of loyalty

The Israel Air Force struck Hezbollah facilities throughout Lebanon Sunday in response to a Hezbollah rocket attack that killed 12 Druze young people on a soccer field in an Israeli town in the Golan Heights. It was the deadliest attack on Israel since October 7, 2023, and stoked fears that the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza might broaden into a war between Israel and Hezbollah in the Hezbollah heartland of the Bekaa Valley. Yesterday, Hezbollah fired at least two rockets into the Israeli town of Majdal Shams. The town is mostly Muslim Druze, who retain Syrian citizenship under the 1981 law annexing the area and are not drafted

Former President Donald Trump condemned a rocket attack by Hezbollah on Saturday that killed 12 Israeli Arab children in the Golan Heights, blaming President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for their weakness. Trump commented just hours after a Hezbollah rocket killed at least 12 children in an Israeli Arab Druze village, Madjal Shams, in the northern Golan Heights. Trump told supporters at a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota: Before we begin, I want to condemn the evil attack on Israel that took place earlier today. A missile launched by Hezbollah killed at least a dozen children — young children. And they were playing, as you heard, on a soccer field

The University of Alabama is the latest school to close its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) offices, joining public colleges in Texas and Florida in doing away with the programs that encourage discrimination based on race and sex. The publicly funded university closed its DEI offices at its Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Huntsville campuses on Tuesday in order to comply with a recently passed Alabama law prohibits public institutions from promoting “divisive concepts,” according to a report by the New York Post. In March, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed Senate Bill 129 (SB129) into the law. It is set to take effect on October 1. The new law forbids certain governmen

Former President Donald Trump praised a female Secret Service agent at a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Saturday who shielded him with her body during the assassination attempt that nearly killed him at a rally earlier this month. The Secret Service has faced intense criticism since the event for leaving Trump exposed to gunfire from a nearby rooftop, and also for using female agents who were smaller than Trump and who, critics said, struggled to respond. The use of female agents has been ascribed to “diversity, equity, inclusion” (DEI) policies, which are a major target

Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance’s (OH) Secret Service code name has reportedly been revealed after a “friend” leaked it to the Daily Mail. While Secret Service aliases were historically used with a “real cloak-and-dagger purpose,” they are largely ceremonial in the age of encrypted technology, according to Fox News. Appearing to reference the mascots of Ohio University and Breathitt County High School in Jackson, Kentucky — the town Vance wrote about in his bestselling memoir, Hillbilly Elegy — the Daily Mail reported that his unique code name is “Bobcat.”

President Wilson’s incapacity for office in 1920 was concealed. In contrast, President Biden’s incapacity for office is being celebrated by the mainstream press and his party, while they simultaneously prop him up to remain in office as the titular commander in chief. It is his vice president and potential successor who is sent forth to read a speech rebuking a close American ally (Israel) and setting the foreign-policy terms for the future. An anonymous coterie in the White House will be making the key decisions for the next five months. There is no precedent for this.

A rocket attack Saturday on a soccer field in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights killed at least 11 people and wounded several others, including children, Israel said, hours after an Israeli airstrike on south Lebanon killed three members of the militant Hezbollah group. The strike, the deadliest attack on an Israeli target since the fighting between the two foes erupted in October, raised fears of a broader conflagration in the region. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning home as quickly as possible after a trip to the United States, his office said. Hezbollah said it struck a military base in the Golan Heights in retaliation

President Joe Biden is reportedly planning to unveil a dramatic Supreme Court reform next week in an attempt to overhaul the high court. Two people familiar with the matter told Politico that the president is likely to endorse establishing term limits for justices, and bring in a code of ethics. The 81-year-old is expected to push for an amendment that would limit immunity for presidents and other officeholders. His amendment would come directly after the court ruled that presidents are shielded from prosecution for officials acts, in a case brought by Donald Trump. According to the outlet, the specifics remain unclear and could still change sources said.

The dancers then went into a room and began to kiss some more. Lady Gaga also sang French songs in a prerecorded opening, while Celine Dion sang from the Eiffel Tower.

It's been a week since Joe Biden left the presidential race, and he's barely been seen in public. After a fumbling Oval Office address on Thursday in which he failed to offer any explanation for his sudden departure, the president headed off to Camp David. That would be the same Camp David he hid out at before the debate performance that exposed his worsening mental and physical condition. In other words, his heading back to hunker down there is a pretty big sign of how bad off he is. Biden just suffered the most embarrassing moment of his career, clearly due to worsening health.
