President Wilson’s incapacity for office in 1920 was concealed. In contrast, President Biden’s incapacity for office is being celebrated by the mainstream press and his party, while they simultaneously prop him up to remain in office as the titular commander in chief. It is his vice president and potential successor who is sent forth to read a speech rebuking a close American ally (Israel) and setting the foreign-policy terms for the future.
An anonymous coterie in the White House will be making the key decisions for the next five months. There is no precedent for this.

Former White House Press Secretary and now MSNBC host Jen Psaki finally apologized Friday for saying in her book that Joe Biden didn’t look at his watch during a Dover Air Force Base ceremony in August 2021 honoring the 13 soldiers killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal.
During a transcribed interview, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) asked Psaki about her comments that she wrote in her book, Say More, that stated President Joe Biden never looked at his watch during a ceremony in late August 2021 honoring soldiers killed in Afghanistan returning home.
“The chairman asked Ms. Psaki about her comments regarding President Biden looking at his watch

A rocket attack Saturday on a soccer field in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights killed at least 11 people and wounded several others, including children, Israel said, hours after an Israeli airstrike on south Lebanon killed three members of the militant Hezbollah group.
The strike, the deadliest attack on an Israeli target since the fighting between the two foes erupted in October, raised fears of a broader conflagration in the region. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning home as quickly as possible after a trip to the United States, his office said.

Donald Trump promised on Friday that despite warnings from the Secret Service, he would hold more outdoor rallies soon.
"I WILL CONTINUE TO DO OUTDOOR RALLIES, AND SECRET SERVICE HAS AGREED TO SUBSTANTIALLY STEP UP THEIR OPERATION," the former president wrote on his Truth Social site. "THEY ARE VERY CAPABLE OF DOING SO. NO ONE CAN EVER BE ALLOWED TO STOP OR IMPEDE FREE SPEECH OR GATHERING!!!"
Sarah Matthews, a former Trump spokeswoman, said that Trump loved the big crowds that outdoor rallies afforded.

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Harris Campaign Co-Chair Mitch Landrieu responded to a question on if 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris no longer stands by her past praise of defund the police by stating “I don’t think so” and maintaining the clips of her doing so were “played out of context.” He also stated that “what I think she was trying to say there, and I think that many criminal justice experts would say this is true, that you can both be tough and smart on crime, that police officers are critically important.” And Her position has always been that

Don't believe your own eyes. That was the message from the far-left following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump as they spread conspiracy theories that he wasn't actually shot.
Claims ranged from "it was glass" to the entire shooting being staged. That's expected from the BlueAnon lunatics. It's less expected from the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As RedState reported, FBI Director Christopher Wray decided it'd be a good idea to spread the left-wing conspiracy theory that Trump wasn't hit by a bullet.

Elon Musk's SpaceX turned a smallbore squabble about an alleged unfair labor practice into a massive assault on the administrative state that could result in the entire enforcement structure of the National Labor Relations Board being declared unconstitutional. In an opinion released Thursday, US District Judge Alan Albright of the Western District of Texas, a Trump appointee, ruled that SpaceX "has demonstrated a substantial likelihood of success on its claims that Congress has impermissibly protected both the NLRB Members and the NLRB ALJs from the President’s Article II power of removal."
The case started with SpaceX firing eight engineers for circulating a letter criticizing Musk for alleged "sexist conduct"

Many people are wondering how and why the protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu got so out of control on Wednesday.
In addition to the vandalism, tearing down of the American flag, and general violence, the police trying to control the crowd were violently attacked. Well, there is a simple answer: there were only 29 Park Police who could defend the sites against the rampaging mob, and the Department of the Interior was unwilling to help those guys out. Dealing with a violent mob consisting of thousands of Antifa and pro-Hamas proto-terrorists, they were outmanned beyond belief.

Consider this the wrap-up to what likely will be the final day of whatever honeymoon Kamala Harris has. The Obamas literally phoned in an endorsement this morning, which means that unless Democrats dig up the corpse of FDR, the potential sugar highs from endorsements have come to an end. Harris may get brief news-cycle boosts from her Veepstakes pick and at the convention, but this introductory week held the most real potential to change the race from the hole Joe Biden dug.
And according to CNN polling analyst Harry Enten last night, that potential went largely unrealized. And in fact, Trump had a pretty good week -- again:

Donald Trump’s campaign on Thursday announced that he is not yet ready to agree to the details of a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, stating:
Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee. There is a strong sense by many in the Democrat Party — namely Barack Hussein Obama — that Kamala Harris is a Marxist fraud who cannot beat President Trump, and they are still holding out hope for somebody “better.” Therefore, it would be inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change their minds.

Former President Trump topped Vice President Harris by 2 points in a new poll from The Wall Street Journal.
The former president garnered 49 percent support among registered voters to the vice president’s 47 percent in the poll, conducted in the wake of President Biden leaving the 2024 presidential race.
Harris significantly improved on Biden’s performance in a Wall Street Journal poll from earlier this month when he was down 6 points to Trump. That poll was conducted shortly after Biden’s disastrous debate performance, which sparked the calls for him to leave the race.

The FBI said Friday that a bullet or fragments of it struck Donald Trump's ear during an assassination attempt on the former president this month at a campaign rally. “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle," the FBI said in a statement. The statement comes two days after FBI Director Christopher Wray, whom Trump nominated to his post in 2017, told House lawmakers that "there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear."
