Conservatives told the truth about Biden.
Democrats failed to listen.

If I were a Democrat, I’d be furious right now. As an American, I’m appalled at the way President Joe Biden's exit from the 2024 election, announced Sunday afternoon, has played out. It’s far from democratic. Biden should have made this announcement last year, ahead of his party’s primaries, when Democratic voters could have had a say about who they want to run against former President Donald Trump. Democrats voted for Biden in large part because there wasn't a robust competition, and Biden’s advisers, family and many in the media tried to hide the president’s true condition from the public.

They got rid of Biden a few days after the Trump assassination attempt failed. Tell me, if Trump was killed, wouldn't Biden still be running?

No "robust competition"? There was no competition at all, the Democrat elite made sure of it so as not to expose the senile vegetable earlier. Now they are stuck with a post turtle hyena. Serves them right for their ignorant DEI policies.

It also shows the democrats are in charge. They actually forced out their own President. The Republicans had little to do with it. It shows who is truly runs Washington. Washington is home field for the Democrats. They enjoy homefield advantage. They may be down now, but don't be surprised if they pull out the win. Even if the away team does win, the home team still enjoys the advantage.

Indeed, we have known at least since 2020 when Biden campaigned, "campaigned", from his basement. Remember the rallies he'd have, talking to an assemblage of cars in a parking lot, which tooted their horns in approval to whatever the heck, muffled by the worthless mask, he said? lolol Not really funny, though. We knew it then, and the horrors of his administration, his entire cabinet, the retainers, all his advisers, all the "czars"--those Obama holdovers, those un-vetted people the big 0 had in his White House, who've been populating the deep state, including Rice and Anita Dunn, most never leaving at the end of 8 no good horrible years, remaining in order to pester the Trump Presidency. Now, the same people, the puppeteers, are possibly shaken up by the failed assassination, that what has been concealed may finally be revealed. This we must demand. Like excising a tumor before it has broken through its encapsulation to metastasize beyond remedy. We have "agents" a la WEF who have been conniving with traitors to our Constitution scheming to run the world in the most oppressive, expansive totalitarian fascist regime, not even the twin monsters of WWII, not the vision of World Communism or the 1000-Year Reich could have quite foreseen this: they thought they'd have to destroy us with military might! They probably couldn't see the depth of traitorous villainy with which we're grappling, fortunately we have a standard bearer for Truth and the USA in Trump/Vance. Keep praying.

The dems did not fail to listen. They chose to lie through their teeth and call the accusers awful names to CYA and smiled while doing it. I have been convinced from the beginning that the debate was set up to bring FJB down in a way the dems thought they could get away with. What, FJB has problems, you might be right. What should we do? From the opening question the knives were out and people were allowed to share their "stories". They lied everyday for years. And the msm was leading the way.

In the immediate wake of Joe Biden's departure from the presidential race, liberal commentators began effusively praising the president for his decency, humility, and willingness to sacrifice his political career for the good of the country. Ezra Klein called him an "actual hero" who had demonstrated what real moral character looks like. Historian Jon Meacham, a personal friend of Biden, compared him to George Washington and said that he had "taught us a landmark lesson in patriotism, humility and wisdom." Frank Bruni called Biden's action "utterly extraordinary." Economist Alex Tabarrok called Biden an "American Cincinnatus." The statements of Democratic politicians were similarly overflowing with tributes to Biden's selflessness. But

It wasn’t the plan and it wasn’t smooth. But when the cover-up of President Joe Biden’s physical infirmity fell apart, the left wing of the Democratic Party, led by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former President Barack Obama and supported by the American Left’s vast "dark money," carried out a coup. Out with Joe and in with Kamala. The out-of-power Clinton clique tried to prop up Biden but to no avail. The American Left is nothing if it isn’t ruthless in its drive for political power.

Democrats, in substituting a lucid 59-year-old for a fading 81-year-old, also replaced a career pragmatist with a lifelong left-wing ideologue. Vice President Kamala Harris, now that she is the Democrats’ presumptive nominee, should be forced to answer for her decades of extremist positions on foreign policy, race, abortion, and the environment, among others. Does she still hold these views? If not, what changed her mind? Harris, by some measures, was the leftmost member of the Senate, even more extreme than avowed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and the least bipartisan Democrat in her brief stint there.

With some hard work, pluck, the right boyfriend, and a bit of genetic luck, Kamala Harris has found her way onto the presidential ballot without having to secure a single primary vote. Don’t tell me the American Dream is dead. Sure, Harris is a demagogue who speaks in cringy, swirling, impenetrable platitudes. And sure, according to Joe Biden, Kamala was an identity hire. But “Morning Joe” says we’re not supposed to talk about any of that. So, let’s discuss her record and stated positions.

Desperate for an energetic, robust leader, Democrats have pivoted to the vice president so fast that Americans didn't get to hear the president announce the end of his campaign from his own lips. President Joe Biden is set to address the country from the Oval Office on Wednesday night, but his announcement on a summer Sunday afternoon that he was abandoning his reelection campaign − world-changing news that was suddenly dropped without the commander in chief bothering to show his face to American citizens − raises questions about his health, the Democratic Party's competency and Vice President Kamala Harris' integrity.

At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last week, “Biden replacement theory” was still that—a theory. By Sunday, President Joe Biden had announced via social media that he would not be seeking reelection. Less than 48 hours later, Vice President Kamala Harris had secured enough pledged delegates to become the presumptive Democratic nominee without a single vote cast for her in a primary contest. As rumors wafted from Capitol Hill to the convention floor in Milwaukee before Biden’s exit, The American Conservative spoke to California delegates at the RNC about the prospects of California Democrats, Harris and Gov. Gavin Newsom in a matchup against Trump.

The most striking thing about the Democratic move to anoint Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s presidential nominee is how incredibly fast it was. President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race early Sunday afternoon. Thirty-two hours later, less than a day and a half, the party’s top leadership, plus a majority of the nearly 4,000 Democratic convention delegates, had committed to support Harris. By late Monday night, the Harris campaign posted a message headlined, “Statement from Vice President Kamala Harris on Becoming the Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President.”

President Biden’s decision on Sunday afternoon to withdraw from the 2024 race should have turned the page on his presidency without much ambiguity. Instead, it has revealed in broad daylight the central themes of this presidential election. First theme: Strength versus weakness. Former President Donald Trump is shot in the ear and comes within a millimeter of losing his life to an assassin; arrives at the Republican National Convention to thunderous applause two days later. Meanwhile, Biden tests positive for COVID; disappears entirely for nearly a week as he remains in isolation. Second theme: Transparency versus secrecy and incompetence.

Immediately in the wake of the announcement at the Republican National Convention that JD Vance is Donald Trump’s pick for running mate, the leftist media predictably launched a fear-mongering campaign to demonize the young populist. The politics of personal destruction – it’s their go-to strategy, rather than addressing the issues. And one of the first scary red flags they warned about is the influence on the future Vice President of Lord of the Rings author JRR Tolkien. On Tuesday, MSNBC mainstay propagandist Rachel Maddow suggested that Vance and “his mentor,” venture capitalist Peter Thiel, were both inspired by “alt-right” and “Aryan” messaging in Tolkien’s vastly popular fantasy epic.
