If the Washington Post had questions about Sheehy's account of the wound it was only because Sheehy is a Republican.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The man who shot and killed a Minneapolis police officer this week was a convicted felon who was banned from possessing firearms. Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed, 35, was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office on Saturday. Mohamed died from multiple gunshot wounds Thursday night outside an apartment complex on Blaisdell Avenue South. National Democrats are deep into the planning for the convention in Chicago to be held in August. Biden's planning team is looking wistfully at the 2020 COVID convention when most events were virtual and the chances for disruption were greatly reduced. The US Food and Drug Administration’s committee of independent advisers voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend that the agency tell vaccine manufacturers to update the Covid-19 shots so they will be more effective against the JN.1 lineage of the coronavirus.
