Another new version of the Covid-19 vaccine will probably be coming this fall.
The US Food and Drug Administration’s committee of independent advisers voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend that the agency tell vaccine manufacturers to update the Covid-19 shots so they will be more effective against the JN.1 lineage of the coronavirus.
The committee voted on the question, “For the 2024-2025 Formula of COVID-19 vaccines in the U.S., does the committee recommend a monovalent JN.1-lineage vaccine composition?” All 16 of the advisers voted “yes.”
The decision now goes to the full FDA. If the agency agrees with its advisory committee, the new shot will be a monovalent vaccine, offering protection

Portland, Oregon, has earned its reputation as America’s most radical city. Its public school system was an early proponent of left-wing racialism and has long pushed students toward political activism. As with the death of George Floyd four years ago, the irruption of Hamas terrorism in Israel has provided Portland’s public school revolutionaries with another cause dujour: now they’ve ditched the raised fist of Black Lives Matter and traded it in for the black-and-white keffiyeh of Palestinian militants.
I have obtained a collection of publicly accessible documents produced by the Portland Association of Teachers, an affiliate of the state teachers’ union that encourages its more than 4,500 members to“Teach Palestine!”

It’s taken me a few days to get round to it but I wanted to say a few words about Fauci’s behind closed doors testimony in January 2024, which has only just been publicly released by the Republican members of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The text that has now been released is remarkable in several ways. (Snip) When asked where the 6 foot social distancing rules came from, Fauci replied that “they just sort of appeared”.
Asked if he had ever seen any evidence to support the masking of children he replied that he didn’t recall doing so, but “might have”.

Why are we not living in a Golden Age?
The most egregious theft of collective wealth and well-being -- and it is flat-out theft -- is the churn on “alternative” forms of energy production. Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama said last week in an interview with Steve Bannon that the U.S. has spent some $7 trillion over budget in the last three years, and 25 percent of that went to "climate change" projects. They are all like Solyndra, massively subsidized and within a decade, massive failures. "The investors take a tax loss," said Tuberville, "then move onto the next effort where they again loot the public."

When I drove 20,000 miles through rural America a few years back, I was struck by the dilapidated nature of, well, just about everything. The towns were rundown, there were thousands of abandoned farms and ranches and family houses. Sidewalks broken, every other shop was abandoned.(Snip)
Over the years, regulations had come down so thick and punitive, near everyone operated in a catch-22 situation. You might hurdle one set of regs, only to discover that your success meant another set of regs cancelled you. Now of course, I see it as actually fiendish, the work of evil. The government was deliberately ruining peoples’ lives, drawing them down, impoverishing them, with malice.

As everybody but the New Guinea tribesmen who ate Joe Biden's uncle knows by now, Donald J Trump has been found "guilty on all counts" - a quintessentially American expression because, of course, the multiple-counts racket is one of the many perversions of judicial norms that have long disgraced the US courthouse. (Snip) A governing party of a serious nation so indifferent to elementary maxims of prudence that it's prepared to invent out of whole cloth crimes with which to convict the leader of the opposition is not one you'd want to bank on to keep us from stumbling into, say, a third world war.

A fever of censorship has seemed to descend upon the British Isles lately, and the world—especially the U.S.—finally may be waking up to it. (Snip) But that is just what many in the United Kingdom seem to want. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, a longtime pro-life leader with March for Life UK, was arrested in December 2022 for silently praying within an abortion clinic “buffer zone.” A widely shared video shows a Birmingham police officer asking Vaughan-Spruce, “Are you praying?” as she stands quietly within the buffer zone, to which she replies: “I might be praying in my head.” Immediately after, the officer informs her that she is under arrest.

A Florida grand jury released its second interim report last week on its investigation into potential “wrongdoing” by Covid shot manufacturers and entities who promoted them.
Requested by Gov. Ron DeSantis and authorized by the Florida Supreme Court in December 2022, the grand jury was tasked with determining whether “pharmaceutical manufacturers (and their executive officers) and other medical associations or organizations” participated in “criminal activity or wrongdoing” concerning “their involvement in the development, approval or marketing of COVID-19 vaccines.” The jury released its first interim report in February, in which members confirmed the accuracy of many claims health “experts” and media apparatchiks dismissed as “misinformation.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admitted the other day that the virtue of the so-called “hush money” trial is that it keeps Trump off the campaign trail. She slammed the fact that Trump would even contemplate making lemonade out of that lemon by campaigning in the Bronx—her turf. That was fear speaking, and AOC was right to be afraid. What’s happening now in the Bronx is monumental. A crowd that was estimated to be a few thousand is currently in the tens of thousands and still growing. Yesterday, when Ocasio-Cortez learned that Trump would be coming to her home turf, she tried to insult him by gloating about the trial hampering

“But you’re Jewish!”
Other than “Why?” this is the most common reaction when I share that I attended a Christian college.
Actually, I attended two.
Recent events on college campuses have invited me to reflect on my own college experience — and what it could have been had I attended another school.
At Columbia, I would have fled campus to celebrate Passover safely, rather than hosting a seder of my own and inviting professors, as I did at Hillsdale College.
Hillsdale and Pepperdine regularly invited Jewish guest speakers, for whom students filled lecture halls and commencement spaces to the brim.

Since the advent of Castro socialism, Cuba has always been an economic failure, but does anyone know how bad it's really gotten?
Pedro Burelli, who has sources inside Cuba, provides a useful tweet report of how bad it's gotten, describing shortages, blackouts and public riots, much of which are affecting the party's wealthy elites, which have, up until now, been shielded from the deprivations ordinary Cubans endure:
Here's a Google Translate:
AGONY CUBA All the reports coming from Cuba confirm that the island is going through its worst moment. The terrible economic and public services management has left Cubans in the dark and with sky-high prices. Blackouts and inflation.

Recently, I made a stage presentation to a large crowd at the Calvary Chapel in Chattooga, TN. The last time I was there was December, 2021, in the heat of the pandemic, and the crowd pressed me then for the best treatment protocols at home to survive acute COVID-19. I credited Pastor Frank Ramseur for being correct from the beginning on masking, lockdowns, early treatment, and vaccines. The community needs to know when their leaders made the right calls and had the courage to hold strong. (Snip) The audience confirmed that not a single public health agency, medical school, or hospital system held public forums so people could ask questions

The wave of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activism is the result of the most rapid successful PR campaign I've ever seen. Instant brainwashing of young people who have little in their heads to begin with, guided by old commies who are eagerly watching their lifelong goal of destroying America playing out.
