Judge Aileen Cannon has rejected the request by Special Prosecutor Jack Smith to ban President Trump from talking about the DOJ/FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, and/or the circumstances that led to the Biden administration approving the use of deadly force. (image)FLORIDA – […] U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon turned down the gag order request Tuesday as she delivered another sharp warning to prosecutors that they need to make more concerted efforts at dialogue with Trump’s counsel before bringing disputes to the court.
“The Court finds the Special Counsel’s pro forma ‘conferral’ [with the defense] to be wholly lacking in substance

Well done Judge Cannon! You put the Special Persecutor Jack Smith on notice his little stupid Lawfare games are toast. Next throw the whole fake prosecution out.

Hey Judge Cannon, Strap on your Battle Dress and Sanction Hack Jack Smith with a massive FINE, like $50Million to be paid out of his own pocket, or he goes to PRISON to pay it off at $10/day!

Jack Smith is the gift that keeps on giving. The judge knows this case is a political hit job and she is waiting for the Supremes to weigh in on the immunity issue. Either way, she is going to throw this case back in the government's face and tell them never to bring such nonsense into her courtroom again.

Unlike Trump's trial judge Merchan, Judge Cannon states specific legal reasons for her actions. What a difference!

This judge knows exactly what’s going on here and she’s not playing their game. This is going nowhere.

Somebody remind Jack (the ripper) that he walked into a "U.S. Court of LAW," presided over by Judge Aileen Cannon, not a "Cabal of 'Lawfare'," run by Demonrat Goons.

Judge Cannon is in a precarious position. If she pushes back against Jack Smith and Jay Bratt too hard, they will appeal to the circuit court of appeals for her removal from the case for bias and appointment of a replacement judge. So she chooses to act carefully, deliberately, addressing each motion with care to justify her rulings with ample factual explanation and ample citation of statutory justification and federal appellate court opinion precedent.
It is my opinion that she is choosing not to green-light Smith's bogus motions in the hope that pending SCOTUS opinions on presidential immunity end the prosecution's witch hunt before the case can proceed to trial.

So many players in this farce, I can't separate the good from the bad. Cloward-Piven confusion in a major way. All that matters now is the verdict. With probably 3 score charges against Trump, they ought to be able to convict him of something. Then make him pay the $454MM fine...

Former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Aileen Cannon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, clerked for the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, was an associate at the international law firm Gibson Dunn, and declined an offer of employment from the Office of White House Counsel. The media's attempt to paint her as an inexperienced ignoramus is a bad joke.

I agree with #2. Pray for Judge Cannon. The pressure must be intense on her to rule against President Trump.
