If you are the parent of young children, are you OK with your kids hearing former President Donald Trump’s language and putdowns, like the ones at his rally last Saturday in Wildwood, New Jersey? One can hear a kid justifying his or her own swearing: “If Trump can talk like that, why can’t I?” Is this the way we want our children to be raised? They will learn swear words soon enough (and hopefully control their use of them or eschew them altogether).

Stormy Daniels’ husband and adult film actor Barrett Blade said Tuesday on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” that if former President Donald Trump is found not guilty, they will likely leave the United States.
Blade said, “If Trump is found not guilty, I think there’s a — I mean, either way, I don’t think he gets better for her. I think if it’s not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we’ll probably vacate this country. If he is found guilty, she’s still got to deal with all the hate that feel like she’s the reason that he’s guilty from all of his followers.

Vice President Kamala Harris dropped an f-bomb while dishing out advice during the annual Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) Legislative Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, on Monday.
Harris spoke to the crowd about breaking down barriers and handling opportunities and instances in which an individual is the “only one that looks” like themself.
Harris added that, in certain instances, they would “need to kick that f**king door down.”

Mayor Eric Adams has once again ignited controversy with his latest comments on the city’s lifeguard shortage. The mayor has suggested that illegal immigrants could be the solution to New York City’s staffing woes, specifically because “they’re excellent swimmers.”
This eyebrow-raising connection was made by Mayor Adams during a City Hall briefing when pressed about the challenges facing the city’s beaches and pools. With Memorial Day approaching and no clear resolution in sight, Adams proposed expediting migrant work visas for these critical roles.
“How do we have a large body of people that are in our city, our country, that are excellent swimmers and at the same time we need lifeguards —

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nicholas Kristof wrote in his new book that the American press should not remain “neutral” when it comes to covering former President Donald Trump because of the alleged threat he poses to democracy. (snip) In his book, he warns about Trump and his allies’ alleged attempts to “undermine democracy” and establish “populist authoritarianism,” according to CNN. Kristof also argues that, in a second term, Trump could weaponize the federal government “to punish or intimidate news organizations” and even carry out “assassinations.”

More than half of the foreign-born immigrant population in the United States under President Joe Biden’s administration is unemployed, according to a recent report.
The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released a report on Monday that showed that just 46 percent of migrants who had arrived in the U.S. “in 2022 or later” were employed as of the beginning of 2024.
“Immigration clearly adds workers to the country, but it just as clearly adds non-workers who need to be supported by the labor of others,” Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler, researchers with the CIS, wrote.

Stormy Daniels' fellow porn star husband Barret Blade said the couple will probably pack up and flee the United States if Donald Trump wins his hush money trial.
Blade, 50, was also heavily critical of women's groups and other objects of Trump's ire for abandoning his wife – whose $130,000 hush money payment from the former president's team before the 2016 election is at the center of the case – and spent two days last week on the witness stand in the ongoing trial.
In an interview Tuesday, Blade said he's saddened by what he describes as the anger toward his wife

President Joe Biden has proposed two debates with Donald Trump, throwing down the gauntlet in a video message directed at his rival, where he taunts him with 'I hear you're free on Wednesdays.'
Trump, who is in his fourth week of a hush-money trial in New York, is required by the judge to be in court for testimony. Wednesday is the only day the court is not in session.
Biden is proposing their first presidential debate be in late June and the second would occur in September before early voting begins. He proposes a vice presidential debate in July.

Jimmy Carter's grandson has revealed the 99-year-old former president is 'coming to the end'.
The Georgia peanut farmer and oldest living president has been in hospice care for more than a year after deciding to forego any further medical treatment.
Since then his beloved wife Rosalynn has passed away and he has been living at home with regular visits from his family. Jason Carter said at a mental health forum on Tuesday: '(My grandfather) is doing OK.
'He has been in hospice, as you know, for almost a year and a half now, and he really is, I think, coming to the end that, as I’ve said before, there’s a part

A Mercer County man who was in the U.S. Marine Corps until last week has been charged with making threatening statements about killing white people in a shooting rampage, federal authorities announced Monday.
Joshua Cobb, 23, of Hamilton, mentioned two possible attack locations, a Jersey Strong gym and an Aldi grocery store in Robbinsville, and said he had access to guns and the will to kill a lot of people, authorities allege.
Cobb also fantasized about the adrenaline rush and high he’d feel during such a shooting. “I’d probably OD on my own adrenaline after the 10th body goes down,” he allegedly wrote on social media in March of last year.

A vulnerable congressional Democrat in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania who previously dismissed a border wall as "silly," appears to have shifted her views on immigration, according to a recent op-ed calling for stricter border security.
"We may be a long way from the U.S.-Mexico border, but the problems created by a broken system affect us too, particularly with regard to the entry of illegal drugs into our country," Rep. Susan WIld wrote in an op-ed published last month in The Morning Call. Wild’s op-ed, which was headlined "Your View by US Rep. Susan Wild: It’s time to do something about the Southern border,"

Snopes, a fact-checking website, quietly changed a fact check about a diary belonging to Ashley Biden, President Joe Biden’s daughter, being real.
The fact-checking website describes the diary, which was written by Ashley Biden, describing “actions taken toward her” by the president when she was younger that are “not appropriate,” according to Snopes. This comes a month after Ashley Biden wrote a letter on April 8 to Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the Southern District of New York. The younger Biden acknowledged the existence of the diary, writing that she was “deeply saddened” to “even have to write”
