Crews opened a second temporary channel on Tuesday allowing a limited amount of marine traffic to bypass the wreckage of Baltimore's collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge, which had blocked the vital port's main shipping channel since its destruction one week ago.
Work is ongoing to open a third channel that will allow larger vessels to pass through the bottleneck, officials announced at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. The channels are primarily open primarily to vessels that are helping with the cleanup effort, along with some barges and tugs that have been stuck in the Port of Baltimore.

The current status of the New York civil fraud case that New York Attorney Letitia James filed against Donald Trump, and that resulted in a huge ruling against him, thanks to Judge Arthur Engoron, is just a little bit of a puzzle. In the short term, Trump is on defense, but the wheels of justice should turn and place him on offense. Understanding that requires us to look at the logic of the law, a subject at once fascinating and exacting and, sometimes, very surprising.
The role of logic in law is one of the features of the law that most non-lawyers misunderstand.

When a future administration someday deals sternly with this nation-dividing issue of illegal immigration, they’ll need to begin by removing the job thieves imported here by cartels from South America and elsewhere. They’ll also have to heavily fine, if not bankrupt, some of the companies hiring these illegals.
They must start the deportations with construction workers here illegally in the U.S. According to conservative estimates, 25-30% of all construction workers in the U.S. are illegal immigrants. That thirty percent amounts to 3.3 million illegal workers in construction alone.
People who empathize with the imported job thieves misplace their sympathy at the expense of their friends, neighbors, kin, and themselves.

On the outskirts of the Chinese city of Hangzhou, a small dilapidated temple overlooks a graveyard of sorts: a series of fields where hundreds upon hundreds of electric cars have been abandoned among weeds and garbage.

Similar pools of unwanted battery-powered vehicles have sprouted up in at least half a dozen cities across China, though a few have been cleaned up. In Hangzhou, some cars have been left for so long that plants are sprouting from their trunks. Others were discarded in such a hurry that fluffy toys still sit on their dashboards.

Last year, bike sharing took off in China, with dozens of bike-share companies quickly flooding city streets with millions of brightly colored rental bicycles. However, the rapid growth vastly outpaced immediate demand and overwhelmed Chinese cities, where infrastructure and regulations were not prepared to handle a sudden flood of millions of shared bicycles. Riders would park bikes anywhere, or just abandon them, resulting in bicycles piling up and blocking already-crowded streets and pathways. As cities impounded derelict bikes by the thousands, they moved quickly to cap growth and regulate the industry. Vast piles of impounded, abandoned, and broken bicycles have become a familiar sight in many big cities.

Sheriff Bob Johnson of Santa Rosa County, Florida, stands by 2022 comments he made encouraging homeowners to shoot intruders and points out the odds of a dead intruder committing another offense are “zero.”
[snip] And we like those odds, which we do.”
He continued, “And in Santa Rosa County, we have a very high percentage of the population that have weapons, and I promote the use of them if you’re in your house. And somebody kicks your door in because they’re not coming in to give you a hug or to give you cookies, they’re coming in to commit felonies.”

oe Biden is flailing in the polls, trailing President Trump in all the swing states, and likely to lose in November.
Inflation, illegals, crime and wokesterism are among the best-known reasons for the shift.
But how many are aware that the nightmare of Obamacare is still with us, too, and likely driving Biden's poll numbers down?
VOTER: I thought I would share why I am no longer a Democrat... I was a two-time bone cancer survivor, still am. That's how I lost my arm. Having healthcare was extremely important to me. I heard all the talking points of "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,"

Conservatives, we need to disabuse ourselves of the idea that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a moderate.
Revealed just minutes ago, Kennedy has selected a running mate, a fellow Californian, Nicole Shanahan:
Written earlier today, prior to the announcement from Kennedy, an item out at Breitbart News reported on the “rumor” of Shanahan’s selection, and her past political loyalties:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s rumored choice for a running mate is a leftist ‘criminal justice’ advocate who has given thousands to President Joe Biden and Democrats.
More specifically, it appears Shanahan gave $30,000 to the Biden campaign in 2020, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) data.

In blue cities where illegals congregate, much of the long-term focus is on where the housing for 10 or 20 million "newcomers" is going to come from.
The problem, though, is much worse than housing. Out in the country, there are worries about where the food supply is going to come from with all this unvetted illegal immigration in the millions.
No, it's not just illegals eating all the food.
It's that unvetted illegals admitted into the country without inspection are bringing in untold diseases, which are already threatening livestock in border states like Texas.

On Monday, May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a man with a significant criminal record including a five-year sentence for an armed home invasion, entered a convenience store in downtown Minneapolis and made a purchase. The clerk at Cup Foods called the police after examining the bill. He believed it to be a counterfeit twenty. Two Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) rookie officers — Alex Kueng, black, and Thomas Lane, white — responded to the call. Floyd was in the driver’s seat of a borrowed car when Lane tapped on the window and told Floyd he was under arrest.

Donald Trump rode the escalator at Trump Tower (soon to be called Letitia’s Crib or Engoron Tower) in June 2015, promised to build a wall, and make Mexico pay for it. It was the foundation of his successful presidential campaign.
In 2015, there were just under 600,000 “Illegal aliens apprehended in the United States” according to Statista. Many of those apprehended were sent back home.
Today there are over 300,000 known migrants entering (and almost all staying in) the U.S. each month. Migrants are arriving from all over the world, including from geopolitical adversaries like China.

Comments:
Illegals are making up 1/3 of construction workers. They are dramatically depressing wages and need to be deported ASAP. And we need to massively reduce WELFARE, get those people to work.
