Chase announced Wednesday it has launched a new media business that allows advertisers to target the bank's 80 million U.S. customers based on their purchases.
The platform, Chase Media Solutions, allows brands to "connect with consumers’ personal passions and interests," while "customers benefit from personalized offers and the ability to earn cash back with brands they love or are discovering for the first time," the bank said in a press release. According to The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news, Chase will only charge merchants for the service whenever a customer makes a purchase through a deal on the platform.

So Chase is monitoring their customers' digital purchases? And selling those digital purchases to advertisers? And then sticks their customers with high consumer rates? Sounds like Chase is acting like the Chicoms - using a customer behavior score to make money but not passing that profit on to their customers. This is Chicom digital monitoring performed by a corporation. Just wait until the Fed goes to a total digital currency, no more coins and paper money. The Fed can do the same. Chase's action is the canary in the coal mine for central bank digital currency.

If I had a Chase card, I'd cancel it ASAP.
BUT, since Chase is the rotten globalist Rockefellers, already have avoided them.

We all knew EV's would not work, never be practical. Digital money won't either. My bank has made a few errors along the way, once showing I had a million dollars in my account. I had a good laugh, called them and a panicky operator said no, I can't spend it, it's an error. Multiply that by billions of people using the same big bank. Nope, never work.

It means my gun and ammo purchases will result in my being denied credit or an airplane ticket. We know what this means, in spite of the marketing gobbledygook.

ALL of this info has been available for decades.
Why else would our mailboxes be full of "targeted" junk mail?
Stop buying and living on credit and most of this goes away...

It's nothing that most other corporations are not already doing. Amazon is the worst. If you don't want a purchase in the data base, buy local and use cash. That still works for now.

Use cash as long as we're 'allowed' to.

I've been a Chase Visa card holder for years and an satisfied with the way they have treated me. That and the fact I am not a interest rate chaser and have no desire to have a billfold full of credit cards means I'm not apt to leave them for another provider (who probably is doing the same thing). I still hold the hammer and make purchases based on want and need, not some internet ad.

Number 2 you beat me to it. I would cancel my card too if I had Chase. Let's hope the other companies don't follow. I hope those that have Chase cards speak up and complain loudly.
