An insidious institutional rot has long afflicted the Republican Party and the broader conservative movement. Historically, this has presented a vexing problem for grassroots activists desperate to change the status quo. Now, after Herculean efforts by players big and small, it appears that the rabble-rousing of the MAGA faithful is finally paying off.
New Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley and Vice Chairwoman Lara Trump have brought immediate change to the institution, working with senior Trump campaign advisor Chris LaCivita to streamline this leviathan. Whereas former RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney-McDaniel did not make the systemic changes needed to support a modern campaign infrastructure, the new team has wasted no time

It's about time these RINOs were accountable. They attack and sideline the conservative base. We even have RINOs leaving the House of Representatives to weaking the Republican majority (on purpose) in their slap at the rise of Trump and conservatives in the party.

Lord knows I hope this fellow right, but the sweeping changes he envisioins may take years to realize and the republic doesn't have that kind of time

Lara Trump is there for good reason. This Michael Whatley I don’t know. Hopefully, this is the beginning of real effective change. It is a shame that the organization has been such a joke. Time to get serious because anything less and we lose the country.
Maybe I am wrong but I thought Lara and Michael were co-chairs.

I believe the RNC has stipulated that if the chairman is male the vice/co-chair has to be female. I'm very willing to give this team a chance; we don't have much time, so expectations are supernova level.

I'm hopeful but some serious housecleaning in state orgs need to be done along with the auxiliary orgs (Young Republicans, Republican Women). Let's hope the housecleaning is thorough and swift.

I only hope that the new leadership of the RNC can help to put some courage in their Representatives.

Switching back to two party system from the Unitparty. Now we'll have the Dem-Communist Party and the MAGA Party.

Even as the RINO House prepares to hand the gavel to Hakeem Jeffries. I fear it's too late.

Not holding my breath. The RINOs and Democrats will have ways of working around the RNC just like they have plans to work around Trump should he become President.

We're facing an election this year with the stakes similar to the election of 1980, minus a Ronald Reagan, who essentially united the GOP and pulled in votes from democrats to boat race Jimmy Carter; however, unlike 1980 our nation's demographics have steadily changed through mass importation of third-world socialists (at best) and hard-core communists.

I hope this new leadership can get it done and clean house within the RNC. I don't know about Whatley but I do know about Lara Trump. Fingers crossed.
As for Colorado's state republican committee which is a total joke at best, a thorough house cleaning is equally and most urgently needed.

Getting rid of Romney's niece is a step in the right direction but it will take time to root out all of the squishy poseurs who think they can get elected and do what is in their best interests and not that of the American people. The party still has a lot of George Santos types, way too many.
Their performance during the 2016-2020 Trump term showed that both Don Jr. and Lara have the right stuff. Their father brought them up well.

Every time we get a Republican shakeup or a an honest head of the FBI, we're told things will be different. But like 'free bear tomorrow', it never happens. They're just dangling the carrot to keep us voting for the Pubbies.
