Special counsel Robert Hur corrected Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal at a Tuesday hearing when she said his report exonerated President Joe Biden for his handling of classified documents.
Hur issued his report in February on Biden’s handling of classified documents, deciding not to pursue charges against the president because he would be unlikely to get a conviction. Jayapal asserted Hur’s report exonerated Biden, but the special counsel disputed her statement. “This lengthy, expensive, and independent investigation resulted in a complete exoneration of President Joe Biden,” Jayapal said. “For every document you discussed in your report, you found insufficient evidence that the president violated any laws about possession or retention

New evidence suggests that the FBI purposefully tolerated and encouraged political violence ahead of the 2020 presidential election so as to target perceived domestic extremists for arrest.
The evidence includes “[t]housands of pages of internal FBI reports and hundreds of hours of undercover recordings” that were obtained by The Intercept, a “progressive” news source.
“The secret files offer an extraordinary view inside a high-profile domestic terrorism investigation, revealing in stark relief how federal agents have turned the war on terror inward, using informant-led stings to chase after potential domestic extremists,” The Intercept reported last Wednesday.

Last month, the Hur report found that Joe Biden willfully retained, mishandled, and disclosed classified information but determined that he was essentially too senile to stand trial. Biden delivered an impromptu address to the nation that managed to make things worse for him. According to the report, Biden struggled to remember details, and he couldn't remember when his son Beau died. Joe Biden angrily defended his memory in his unplanned address and attacked Special Counsel Robert Hur for bringing up Beau during his interview during the investigation.
"There's even a reference that I don't remember when my son died," Biden said. “How in the hell dare he raise that? Frankly, when

There’s a general consensus on the Right. Biden’s State of the Union address was a nasty campaign speech. Among establishment shills, though, comes predictable silliness. Bill Scher at the Washington Monthly claimed that Joe’s rant was the “fiercest” such speech in history. Biden is at peak warrior, suggested Scher. Joe proved that “age is nothing but a number.”
Never mind all the contrary public evidence. Joe is a shuffling ditz who on Thursday night benefited from a cocktail of meds that would put umph! into a sloth. In fact, Joe came across like a hophead much of the night.
Biden’s speech? It was undoubtedly penned by radicalized, 20-something Harvard alumni

President Biden’s animus against Israel was patent in his State of the Union Address this past Thursday evening. The White House has posted the text of his remarks as given here.
JNS editor Jonathan Tobin sets forth a rounded view of “the moral failure” Biden’s remarks on Israel. Tobin separately addresses and elaborates on Biden’s demands on Israel, the floating harbor for Hamas, the two-state final solution, the lack of any statement on the explosion of anti-Semitism in the United States, and the the appeasement of Israel haters. We have noted these deficiencies in our own way, but nothing said here does justice to the points that Tobin makes.

Biden has never made a secret of his hatred for Bibi Netanyahu (and it’s easy to see why a stupid, draft-dodging man would hate an intelligent, accomplished warrior). Still, he’s now taking that hatred to new levels as he actively works to interfere in Israeli politics. For decades, leftists told us that it was morally wrong to try to affect a nation’s internal politics, but that doesn’t apply when the nation is a liberal democratic ally…and the world’s only Jewish state.
The New York Intelligencer reported on sources saying that Biden intends to overthrow Netanyahu, the democratically elected president of a U.S. ally (emphasis mine):

Women's professional golf tour, NXXT Golf, has changed its eligibility criteria to only allow biological female players to compete after transgender golfer Hailey Davidson sparked backlash for winning on the circuit.
Davidson, 30, who was born in Scotland but now lives in Florida, won the NXXT Women's Classic at Mission Inn Resort and Club near Orlando in January.
The victory allowed the Scot to take a step closer to the LPGA with the NXXT awarding its top five players with exemptions to the Epson Tour - a step below the top tier of the women's game.

Watching CNN is a bit like watching someone who locked their keys in a convertible … with the top down … except that it’s less watchable, and not nearly as fun or funny outside of the irony of the “most trusted name in news” lying like Pinocchio all day, every day.
It’s a frustrating, maddening experience, really more akin to listening so someone you know was out cheating on you, offer up a fictional story about how they were out visiting a sick relative, than a news program.
It’s not even news, it’s “news” (fictionalized current events themed advocacy based programming).
CNN doesn’t make it up as they go,

Joe Biden is delivering his State of the Union speech tonight. Apparently he will chide Americans for not appreciating his wonderful economy; declining real wages will not be mentioned. He will denounce “shrinkflation,” as though people are too stupid to know inflation when they see it. Nor will Biden mention the eight million or so illegals who have streamed across the border, wreaking havoc, since he opened it.
Biden has always been mean-spirited. He is a nasty person, and always has been. Take, for example, his recent interview in the New Yorker. The interview is replete with Biden’s trademark classlessness, but take just one example: his smearing of Justice Thomas:

“Nine out of ten of what we call new ideas are simply old mistakes,” noted G.K. Chesterton a century ago. This is brought to mind by the modern obsession with “new ideas,” typified by Joe Biden’s implicit touting of them during his State of the Union address.
The issue “isn't how old we are; it’s how old our ideas are,” he said Thursday evening. He’s right, too.
And, usually, the “older” the ideas, the better.
There’s an irony to Biden’s appeal: He doesn’t want to be dismissed out of hand over age.
But he does want ideas dismissed out of hand over age.
(Though there’s a contradiction here. More on that momentarily.)

There are a lot of reasons to be grateful to be an American. For all our nations' ongoing issues - a senile President, a corrupt Congress, uncontrolled borders, major cities slipping into a new dark age - at least we aren't (yet) being tossed in jail for something we might do. That may not be the case in Canada much longer, where their Parliament is considering a law allowing judges to place someone under house arrest if the judge thinks they might commit a "hate crime."

At least five people were killed and 10 others injured when airdropped aid packages fell on them in the Al Shati camp west of Gaza City, according to a journalist on the scene.
Khader Al Zaanoun told CNN he witnessed the aid packages falling from planes over the Al Shati camp on Friday but cannot confirm which nation was behind the air drop.
