Former President Donald Trump lashed out at Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel during the ceremony, calling him a “washed up” talent. “Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be,” he wrote. The former president issued his insult in a lengthy post on Truth Social. Trump then suggested that the network, ABC, “get rid of Kimmel” and replace him with George Stephanopoulos.

It's clear that NBC Meet the Press host Kristen Welker has two modes of operation: Democrats get polite questioning, often about internal party matters, while Republicans get hammered with rough questions and predictably interrupted with bickering. There was a dramatic contrast on Sunday between Welker's polite approach to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and her incessant bickering with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). I'll throw some math in. Schiff received six questions in his interview, and he spoke for 827 words. That's about 138 words per answer.

On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast, Joe and his guest, conservative education activist Chris Rufo, slammed Karine Jean-Pierre as a diversity hire and wondered if there has ever been a worse White House press secretary. They make some very valid points. Under Trump, every White House press secretary was routinely mocked by Saturday Night Live and the media, but KJP constantly gets a pass despite being completely inept. Transcript via Mediaite:

Chinese government documents and restricted military journals show how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is using social media like TikTok and Hollywood to target vulnerable young consumers and tear at the fabric of American culture, according to Peter Schweizer’s new book: Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.“The Chinese military and Communist Party officials have thought deeply and written extensively about waging ‘cognitive warfare’ on the United States. The CCP sees apps such as TikTok, video games, and movies as powerful weapons to wage psychological warfare against the West,” Schweizer writes.

While Biden gets on the stage and screams that the border disaster is not his fault and that he needs more legislation, his administration has actually been undermining efforts to solve the problem. Case in point, they tried to divert $1.4 billion in congressionally funded appropriations away from border wall construction. Don’t believe Biden when he claims he cares about the millions of illegals that have streamed into this country during his tenure because every single action he’s taken since he took office shows that he does not. On Friday, a federal judge in Texas hit back. A U.S. District Court handed Texas a win in the first round

The rebellion in Ireland against the government’s leftist, globalist policies continues with the defeat of two leftist referenda on family and women’s domestic roles. Breitbart reported on the early vote tallies, which have since been confirmed as indicating an accurate final result by The Irish Times. The two referenda would have changed the definition of family from marriage-based to “durable relationship” based, and aimed “to remove supposedly ‘sexist’ references to women and their role in organising domestic life to a gender-neutral concept of ‘care’,” per Breitbart. With early tallies pointing to a resounding defeat for two referenda seeking to change the definition of marriage and remove references to the pivitol

After Breitbart News exposed the numerous loopholes in the Academy Awards’ new DEI quotas, the New York Times has published its own version of the story, which includes unnamed Hollywood insiders trashing the diversity rules as little more than window dressing — “flimsy and showy.” Some Hollywood executives — who were also granted anonymity — told the Times that the mandates have changed little about how they make movies, in large part because the standards are so easily met. Spike Lee even used Breitbart’s description — “loopholes” — when he characterized the Oscars’ diversity effort to the Times.

Was Taylor Swift at the State of the Union speech and I just didn't notice? We've probably already spent too much time dissecting Joe Biden's rendition of "Angry Old Man Yells at Clouds," but the reality is that there were a lot of people watching that speech. Viewership was up a whopping 18% as compared to last year's SOTU, with more than 32 million people tuning in. That doesn't necessarily translate to good news for Biden as we'll discuss in a moment, but it was a welcome sign for the news networks. Viewership wasn't evenly divided among the networks, however. Fox News ran away with the ratings victory,
