A small Texas county has declared a state of emergency as its population of 400,000 is set to double, and even triple, ahead of the total solar eclipse in April.
Bell County officials in central Texas are gearing up for challenges like traffic congestion, fuel shortages, and strains on first responders, hospitals, and food supplies, as thousands of tourists are expected to flood the town.
County Judge David Blackburn said the emergency declaration will help the county plan for the eclipse and protect both residents and visitors, as reported by the Dallas Morning News.

Donald Trump touted the unprecedented unity of the Republican Party Saturday night in a gracious speech after that state’s primary was called.
The Associated Press officially projected Trump as the victor at 7:00 p.m. EST – the minute polls closed. “There’s never been a spirit like this, and I just want to say, I have never seen the Republican Party so unified as it is right now,” Trump said in a fifteen minute speech after his projected victory. He used most of his speech to thank his supporters, singling out many officials on the stage, and touting the latest in his historic run in this year’s primary.

We all knew this would be the result for days. Donald Trump has throttled Nikki Haley in her home state. We don't know the final tally, but the race was already called before any votes were counted, marking another election humiliation for Ms. Haley. We'll update you on the final count later. For now, who wants to bet if Trump will beat her by more than 40 points? (X's) The former South Carolina governor had no chance to win this contest. Her former constituents might not loathe Haley, but it's Trump regarding the presidency.

Donald Trump took another step towards a general election rematch with Joe Biden by decimating Nikki Haley in her home state in the South Carolina Republican primary.
The result was called just seconds after polls closed in an embarrassing night for Haley who has vowed to stay in the race even as her path to the nomination rapidly closes.
Trump declared his swift victory at his Election Day party held on the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia, saying with a smirk: 'This was a little sooner than we anticipated.'

Former President Donald Trump crushed Nikki Haley in the Conservative Political Action Conference’s (CPAC) straw poll on Saturday.
Trump destroyed Haley with a whopping 94 percent to her five percent.
The poll concluded on the same day that Trump handily defeated Haley in the primary for her home state of South Carolina.
CPAC also polled attendees about their vice presidential picks — which South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy tied.
Just the News reports: Trump now stands as the all-time leader of the CPAC straw poll with seven wins, followed by Utah Sen. Mitt Romney with four, and Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul with three wins each.

As we reported on Friday, this comment on MSNBC from journalist Heidi Pryzbala, who is also an investigative reporter for Politico, had a lot of people going, "What the heck?" (X Video) The one thing that unites all of them because there is many different group orbiting Trump, but the thing that unites them as Christian nationalists, not Christians by the way, because Christian nationalist is very different, is that they believe that our rights as a Americans, as all human beings don't come from any earthly authority. They don't come from Congress, they don't come from the Supreme Court, they come from God.

Donald Trump: Developer, property mogul, billionaire, former president, defendant, Republican frontrunner and now 'dissident.'
He gave himself the new title on Saturday as he set out his nightmare vision of what a second Biden term would look like.
It is part of what aides say is a pivot to attacking President Joe Biden while Nikki Haley, his last remaining rival in the Republican nomination race, is heading to certain defeat in her home state of South Carolina, later on Saturday.

Big Tech is using AI and media ratings firms as new ways to censor conservative voices, but the fight to expose the bias and censorship is underway.
On the Feb. 20 edition of The Wayne DuPree Show, MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider raised the alarm that Big Tech is using its power and influence to remove media critical of the Biden administration from the public’s view. Schneider said that platforms such as Google, Meta and ChatGPT “are trying to radicalize the whole world” in the “worst possible ways” with their censorship tactics. According to Schneider, these platforms are using ratings from media outlets

Democrat presidential candidate Rep. Dean Phillips is open to being Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s running mate, not that she has a chance of getting anywhere close to the nomination.
Phillips revealed his interest in being Haley’s running mate for a supposed “unity ticket” while speaking with Minnesota radio station WCCO host Chad Hartman this Thursday.
The idea was introduced by Hartman. Listen: (X Video) “Wouldn’t all your listeners be more compelled by maybe Nikki Haley and Dean Phillips getting together on a unity ticket and actually doing for the first time, perhaps in our country’s history, what most Americans really want,

President Joe Biden attempted to appease Palestinians Friday by reversing a Donald Trump-era policy Friday that declared the presence of Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) to be legal under international law.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who has taken an increasingly hostile tone toward Israel, declared that settlements were “”inconsistent with international law,” reverting to a policy adopted by Barack Obama during the lame-duck weeks of his administration in 2016.
