A fourth co-defendant in the Georgia case against former president Donald Trump has filed a motion for the court to disqualify embattled District Attorney Fani Willis. (snip) The court filing Monday references when Willis first addressed the affair allegations in January during remarks she made at Bethel AME Church in Atlanta. (snip) Shafer argued in Monday’s court filing that, "The obvious intent of her remarks was to inject and infect the jury pool in Fulton County with unfounded allegations that anyone who dares question her or Mr. Wade’s conduct must have done so for racist purposes."

The far-left New York magazine’s Vulture is crying racism over Taylor Swift’s triumph at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, noting that Swift’s win for album of the year means she “now has more wins in the category than all Black [sic] women combined.”
Vulture played the race card in a post-show analysis — while Taylor Swift has won the top Grammy prize four times, only three black women have won the award — Natalie Cole in 1992, Whitney Houston in 1994, and Lauryn Hill in 1999. (snip) Vulture failed to note that multiple black men have won Grammy’s album of the year award, including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie,

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ Friday denial of corruption allegations left many questions unanswered, including details about the start of her relationship with Nathan Wade and his prior professional experience. (snip) Here are some questions that remain unanswered ahead of Judge Scott McAfee weighing each side’s claims.
Why did Nathan Wade file for divorce the day after his contract started?
In an affidavit, Wade stated that his relationship with Willis did not begin until 2022, after he was hired. However, he filed for divorce on Nov. 2, 2021 — the day after his contract with the district attorney’s office began.

Andrew Slavitt, the former Biden Administration operative who in 2021 helped conspire to violate my First Amendment rights and make Twitter ban me, has refused to comply with a Congressional subpoena to testify about his actions.
Slavitt’s lawyers told the House Judiciary Committee last Wednesday he would ignore a subpoena ordering him to testify under oath to the committee that day because he “had received a letter from the White House instructing him not to appear.” (snip) In a letter to Slavitt’s attorneys, Richard Sauber, a White House lawyer, said the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice will not prosecute Slavitt - or even bring a civil case against him.

Former President Donald J. Trump predicted in 2019 that sanctuary cities would lead to catastrophe. (snip) "We might as well do what they always say they want. We'll bring the illegals ... to sanctuary city areas, and let that particular area take care of it. Whether it's a state or whatever it might be."
"And let's see if they're so happy. They say, 'We have open arms.' They're always saying they have open arms. Let's see if they have open arms," said Trump.

The American Psychological Association claimed that "[h]iring the most qualified candidate might be unfair" based on one of its recent studies.
The study, titled "Can Selecting the Most Qualified Candidate Be Unfair?," examined people’s perceptions of merit-based hiring after learning more about the socioeconomic status of potential workers. While previewing the results, it argued that hiring the most qualified candidate could contribute to more inequality. (snip) "Members of marginalized racial groups tend to experience socioeconomic disadvantages more often than members of privileged racial groups, and the negative consequences of these disadvantages can be even worse for racial minorities," she said.

On Friday, Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani Willis finally admitted to having an affair with the prosecutor she hired to oversee the election interference case involving former president Donald Trump. Despite the admission, she denied the allegations of misconduct, insisting there was no evidence that her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade impacted the case. (snip) “That raises the obvious and important question: If they had nothing to hide in the first place because they did nothing wrong, then why did they intentionally not tell anyone about it until they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar?”

It’s sticker shock.
A Florida mom of three has been banned from dropping off and picking up her young from a Florida Christian school because she advertises her lucrative OnlyFans account on an oversize car decal. Michelle Cline, 35, told The Post she is now forced to walk her children across a busy street to get them to class — and that some parents want her family expelled from Liberty Christian Preparatory School in Tavares altogether.
“I don’t think it’s right,” she said. “People are going to be offended by all sorts of things, different bumper stickers, whatever. But at the end of the day, this is something that supports my family.”

Gavin Newsom revealed Wednesday that he once witnessed a shoplifter steal from Target without any interference from workers, one of whom blamed the California governor for emboldened criminals in the state before she realized who he actually was. (snip) Newsom said he was on the Target checkout line when he and a store worker saw the thief waltz out of the store with items he didn’t pay for, according to footage posted online.
“I said, ‘why didn’t you stop him,’” Newsom said. “She goes, ‘oh, the governor.’ Swear to God, true story on my mom’s grave. ‘The governor lowered the threshold, there’s no accountability.’
