Nikki Haley just lost the New Hampshire primary by 11 percent.
She had earlier come in third in the recent Iowa caucuses behind Ron DeSantis. But DeSantis, not she, dropped out of the race. He then endorsed front-runner Donald Trump. By contrast, Haley confidently announced that at last there was a two-person, head-to-head race. So she confidently headed to New Hampshire.
Her subtext was that if she did not win the upcoming two-person primaries, she would come in “second” rather than “last.” Her supporters outspent all the candidates in Iowa and would do so again in New Hampshire.

It's simple "stop Trump", any way, at any cost....NeverTrumpers and Uniparty DC Criminal Cabal are desperate, will fund her. Spending more than anyone else.....and LOSING.
I think she'll lose her home state of SC next, I wonder if that will be clear enough? The comparison to Bush is apt.....both are Uniparty RINOs and will stab us in the back at every chance.

I think she's betting on the slim chance that Trump will implode by reason of being convicted in one of these bogus criminal trials, losing a SCOTUS appeal, or having a heart attack or other health emergency. If he does any of these things, she wants to be the last one standing, claiming the sole right to challenge Biden in the general election, since everyone else dropped out.

I don't know how she's going to campaign here in South Carolina. Pres. Trump is 30+ points ahead of her.
Pres. Trump has collected endorsements from all but one Republican politicians in this state. I think people will tell her, everywhere she goes, to withdraw from the race--this is Trump country!

The really sad historical fact here is,
Reagan didn’t need Bush on his ticket. The country was over Jimmy Carter and the VP choice had little to do with victory.
However Bush’s had much to do with the downfall of this country.

Excellent analysis by VDH. I think Haley is already destined for something other than a political career after her shameless dalliance with the democrats in New Hampshire but let her go on making a bigger fool of herself, it matters not, she deserves it. We already tried one foreigner in the Oval Office and that has haunted America for sixteen years and is still doing so.

#4 I agree with you completely. They helped put all the infrastructure (agencies, laws and rules) in place that are now being used against we the people.

#4, Your are correct. GW Bush was an integral part of the slippery slope we are now speeding down. It’s a power hungry craving that cannot be satiated and comes along with an arrogant entitlement mentality. It really is one of the aristocracy that has no place in this country. The elitist mindset is toxic to a free society wherein every human being is allowed to pursue his dreams and secure the opportunities needed to succeed. These elites must be rulers, controllers and stationed far above the rest of us. This is not the American way. It is the antithesis of it. Couple that with greed and corruption and you have a breeding ground for our present condition. Strip this onion back to its core and it always ends with money is the root of all evil because it buys every other corrupt and vile desire of man. We are all flawed but it is our duty to restrain ourselves and allow integrity and character to form our choices in life. God has ways been the compass pointing us in the right direction and when individuals decided they no longer needed His authority or truth, things went downhill fast. Now we are suffering the consequences of a man centered existence instead of focusing on the truth and authority of God to guide us. I have to admit their boldness is shocking. The narrative of Deplorables and “less thans” grows thin when we can see they are not what they believe themselves to be and are actually the cause of most of our woes.

FTA - "An inert Haley would serve as the only remaining Republican alternative to Trump—on the chance he might be convicted and jailed and thus either be unable to actively campaign or wounded as the first felon to run as a major party candidate."
This is the dims' and her preferred option. May they fail bigtime and take their ball and go home - for good. Haley, you couldn't be this evil?

Haley is hanging on hoping that Trump will be convicted of something somewhere and have to dropout, which he would only do if he was sentenced to prison and maybe not even then. Unfortunately for her the money is drying up and she won’t have that option.

Excellent comment,#7.
There is nothing wrong with wealth and power. The problems arise in the attitude toward it and how it is used. [For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10]
There was no one with access to more wealth and power than Jesus. Satan certainly has his share. The account of the Temptation in Scripture reveals the perfect example of the difference in attitude toward it.
We see it played out in the lives of men today, and we see the effects for good and for evil.
America has been a shining example of the struggle between good and evil as a nation. Good has prevailed when the majority of her people stood for God’s precepts - the Source of all good.
May God grant US the grace, wisdom, courage & strength to stand for it now.

This is what happens with a person full of pride, they are self delusional. They think they are better than others, smarter than others, but in the end, they are not. They are like a balloon all puffed up with hot air, but soon a leak will bring them down to earth. So what is Haley's strategy? Take others' money, spend it, showcasing self and in the end, what is she left with?
Politics is a sad story of dysfunctional people trying to gain attention (and money) for their failed life.
President Donald J. Trump is the exception.
