X CEO Elon Musk is taking a public stand for stricter U.S. voting laws, calling for mandatory in-person voting requiring identification across all 50 states in multiple comments on his social media site.
The tech mogul has recently made multiple posts on the matter, writing on Monday that it is “insane” to be able to vote without providing official identification.
“In the USA, you don’t need [a] government-issued ID to vote, and you can mail in your ballot,” he wrote. “This is insane.” (X) After being questioned on what could be done to fix the insanity, Musk said voting should work like purchasing alcohol.
“We should require government ID and

Jeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark is pictured for the first time in five years in exclusive DailyMail.com photos – amid continuing revelations surrounding the dead financier’s horrific sex slave ring.
Property developer Mark, 69, was dapperly dressed on top against the cold as he headed out of his New York City home on Wednesday.
It was the first time he has been pictured since the days following Epstein's August 2019 jailhouse suicide as the pedophile awaited trial on charges for his sex ring. Sporting a goatee beard and mustache, the younger sibling looked snug in a black and white patterned scarf, trilby hat and puffed jacket as he first dumped the trash.

The White House wouldn't say on Wednesday if President Joe Biden knew son Hunter was going to crash Republicans' contempt hearing on Capitol Hill, a surprising move that resulted in chaos in the Capitol.
Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she wouldn't detail private conversations of the president's and argued Hunter Biden is a private citizen who makes his own decisions.
'Hunter, as you all know, is a private citizen. He's not a member of this White House, but he makes his own decisions,' she said during her daily press briefing.

The judge in former President Donald Trump's New York fraud trial has barred him from speaking in his own defense during closing arguments later this week.
The former president, 77, is a defendant in the case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
His business empire in New York is on the line, and James has asked for his business to be fined $370 million for inflating property prices to get favorable loan deals. An attorney for Trump informed Judge Arthur Engoron earlier this week that the ex-president wished to speak during the closing arguments and Engoron initially approved the plan, The Associated Press reported.

Palm Beach, Florida — Former President Donald Trump, the 2024 GOP frontrunner for president, told Breitbart News exclusively that Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco is the person who is actually pulling the strings at the Department of Justice (DOJ), not Attorney General Merrick Garland.
While expanding on his earlier point about how Democrat President Joe Biden is “surrounded by vicious people,” Trump noted that Monaco seems to be the person really in charge at the Justice Department and that Garland is just a figurehead.
“Lisa Monaco, she’s really running the Justice Department, rather viciously and rather illegally, and that will be found out over the next year and a half, I predict,”

A decades-old claim about a former president’s allegedly self-described health condition resurfaced as Epstein court documents were unsealed.
Following an order from U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska, documents from Virginia Giuffre’s civil lawsuit against financier Jeffrey Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, were made public further connecting the conductor of the “Lolita Express” to high-profile individuals.
Among named names was that of former President Bill Clinton, prompting rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick to offer her own testimony to the character of the longtime Democratic Party leader

Republicans have voted to recommend Hunter Biden officially be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to sit for a closed-door deposition as part of their impeachment investigation into his father Joe.
The House Judiciary Committee was first to vote to approve the contempt resolution 23-14 along party lines, teeing up a full floor vote as early as next week.
If that gets cleared, Hunter's case would be referred to the Biden-led Department of Justice for prosecution and he could face up to a year in prison if convicted.

Donald Trump won’t deliver his own closing statement at his New York civil fraud trial after all — after the judge said he needed to stick to “relevant, material facts.”
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron emailed Trump attorney Christopher Kise Wednesday saying he was assuming the 77-year-old former president wouldn’t agree to the “lawful limits” and “therefore, he will not be speaking in court tomorrow.”
Kise first notified the judge in a January 4 email that after the lawyers give their arguments in the $370 million case on Thursday, “President Trump plans to present argument at closing as well,” court records show.
