A year ago I was confidently predicting that neither Joe Biden nor Donald Trump would be on the 2024 presidential election ballot. The Democrats would be crazy to nominate Biden, and the Republicans would be crazy to nominate Trump. And yet, with the caucus and primary season about to start, here we are. With no sign that the Democrats have a way to get Biden off the ballot, and with mainstream Republicans like Tom Emmer and Tom Cotton lining up behind Trump, we seem destined for an election that neither candidate can possibly win.
In the Wall Street Journal, Barton Swaim writes about attending a Trump rally

What a ridiculous junior high level article! Rather than admit that he was way off base with his prediction that neither Biden nor Trump will be on the ballot, he fills his column with quotes of alarmists and defeatists and then closes by saying he agrees with them

Get a grip. You'll do better with crayons and coloring books than writing your nonsense. Biden will win the primaries and then at the convention someone else will step in, maybe even Michelle Obama. This is how the DNC selects, not votes for the person to head the ticket this cycle.

The never trumpers can become so tiring. Then of course there's the even worst part of our base The cry babies that say we have to get rid of Trump so they won't hurt us please don't hurt us. The cry baby's buying to the Notion The Trump is being treated the way he is because he's trump. What they don't understand is that any candidate will be treated the way Trump has been treated.

Look no further than this guy as an example of how we got where we are today. Look, President Trump’s policies are not complicated. They are very forthright and easy to understand. Any politician could have stepped up and pushed this agenda long ago but they did not because it would cost them something. Trump is willing to bear the brunt of the elites because he believes in this country. He believes what the American people have created can be resurrected. The political class tried its best to tamp down everything “American” and the embers just will not be extinguished. We are not giving up on the country. When Donald Trump came along and gave voice to a real solution, the political landscape changed. He did what no one else was willing to do. He put the gloves on and began pushing back on the political class and the way they ran things.
Most politicians believe we are a bunch of rubes out here in flyover country who need them. We are not. We believe in our founding principles and know that the political class has been a disaster. Hinderaker can believe what he wants but the American spirit is not dead. It’s just waiting to get the opportunity to step up and make this country great again. Donald Trump will give us that opportunity and Americans will jump at the chance. Clearly, the fear these elites have is that President Trump will be successful and the country will regain its footing and begin to realize its potential. We must shake off these doubters, pearl clutchers, and naysayers. Americans are ready to work hard to achieve meaningful change. Peace and prosperity is not some pie in the sky goal we cannot achieve. We can and we will. Americans are hungry for a second chance to make this country what we know it can be. It’s not going to be easy but it is doable.
Right now there are two camps in the country, the destroyers and the builders. We’re feeling the pain and suffering of destruction and no one wants it. It’s time for a new direction and we do not need whiners on the sidelines telling us what is and what is not possible. Get with the program! What have you got to lose? We have everything to gain and our children and grandchildren deserve to live in the country we all love and remember. We are not the radicals!

I think his point is that when Trump wins, the resistance he will face from the Deep State and 10-15 million illegals, BLM and Obama's Brown Shirts will be daunting, and he is right.
We are in a fight for the soul of this country and Trump is the only one who can win this battle, with God's divine help.

So whats his alternative? Elect another uniparty hack like McCain or Romney? Our dollars are worth just 2% of what they were a hundred years ago. We have been in nearly perpetual war our entire existence. We no longer have an American culture, American values, and few reasons for American pride. We have been flooded with 3rd world animals to further pollute our society, attack our citizens and drain our coffers.
We are swirling down the drain, and only someone bold and fearless will be able to slow that. The corrupt uniparty aint it because they caused it.

It was pretty much a foregone conclusion that trump would run, only an idiot would have thought otherwise.
It should have been easy to predict that Biden would not run, but here he is running until removed by the few sane people in the democrat party.

Too many of us watched an election being stolen that night. Is it really so mystifying to America's talking heads that voters would tolerate nothing less than a rematch?
The fact the Establishment is so desperate to prevent Trump's second term and risk populism becoming the dominant political movement is to me all the more reason Trump needs a 2nd term.

Sounds like Hinderaker would prefer a Romney or McCain type candidate because he didn’t recommend one. You can’t let the idiots on the left dictate who the Republican candidate should be. Trump has enemies on both sides of the aisle, because the swamp that he hates is made up of snakes from both sides. MAGA!

Hindraker has been an unhinged NeverTrumper for years and years. He is irrational on that topic. It is, in some ways, an interesting phenomanon. An otherwise logical and rational person, for no reason which they can rationally and logically explain just goes all bonkers and unhinged on the topic of Trump as President.
They invent and apparently believe all sorts of nonsense about how evil Trump was, is and will be in the future.
An no facts to back up their delusions.
TDS is a real brain disease. And apparently incurable.

Dare I say that my New Year wish is that we have a cage match for president in 2024. I'd like tosee Trump, Biden, Kennedy, Machine and even Cheney enter the race. It will give all sides their favorite candidate and all will have a choice.

A Trump win will ignite the fires of the left. Maybe as much as Lincon did. But that's not a reason to go with a RINO who will go along to keep the peace.
If the The Tree of Liberty needs to be watered, I want DJT in the WH.
MAGA
