Kamala Harris likes to play pretend. Fortunately for her, there's no better performance of make-believe than the cultural charade that is Kwanzaa. And since it's politically advantageous to do so, Kamala the Chameleon purports to be a lifelong celebrant of Kwanzaa.

For years, Kamala has told tall tales of cherished age-old Kwanzaa traditions in the Harris household. She has repeatedly claimed to nostalgically recall fond childhood memories of multi-generational Kwanzaa celebrations led by "the elders"® sharing stories of yore and lighting candles on the "kinara," a knock-off menorah. (The first "kinara" was forged from a desecrated Jewish menorah, in which two openings were broken off to create a seven-ring candleholder.)

I have numerous blacks in my extended family. Not one of them participates in this farce of a celebration. They are all solid Christians who work hard, are educated, pay taxes, own homes and businesses and have never received a single penny in entitlements,

Just another fake creation to pander to people who have no traditions worth celebrating. What would they celebrate? Mugger mania? Drug days? Shoplift Sunday? Sheboon smackdown?
At least it doesn't last a month.

FTA: “We lost our land through blood”.
What land might that be? The land is still there, if he’d make better use of it. Land he’s never seen. Most blacks couldn’t name an African country if you spelled it for them. They don’t seem to realize Africa is a continent.

Kwanza is just like Christmas, except that when Santa sneaks in through the chimney, instead of leaving presents, he steals your wide-screen TV and silverware to buy crack.

Liberals always flock to the make-believe. Kamalala also said she listened to Tupac's music while in High School. Tupac was about 4 years old at the time and was known as Lesane Crooks.

My church has lots of African families. Most of them are from the Central African Republic. None of them know anything about Kwanzaa and laugh at the idea of it. They are devout Catholics.

Like most things "Africa" written by blacks in this country, a total FRAUD.
The leftist race baiters made a movie about a black super-hero, who hailed from a totally fictitious country in Africa called "Wakanda," where everyone lives in total peace and prosperity. "Wakanda forever!", is the cry, but it should be, "Wakanda, was never!" The history of Africa is one of idol worship, violence, and human slavery. Wherever God does not rule in the hearts of men, Satan sets up camp.

This phony holiday is fading away. Years ago, when it was first implemented, the news media made a big deal about it. Now, not even the most Marxist tv station in this mostly black city mentions it after the first day.

Hallmark and the US Postal service are keeping the myth alive as are left leaning newspapers like Newsday in NY.

Re #2. I had black coworkers who are like your extended family. Two that I was friends with at work were an applied mathematician and an accountant. Both genuinely nice and intelligent middle class people.
I can't imagine how irritating it is for them to see how the worst of the country get so much attention, and the hard working good people get ignored.

The ironic thing is that all these race hustlers love to use Swahili words. Swahili is an east African language. Most American blacks came here from west Africa and no one in their native countries would even be familiar with that language,
