Florida Sen. Rick Scott’s home in Naples was swatted Wednesday night, according to Naples Police spokesperson Lt. Bryan McGinn. Scott posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Thursday morning, stating: “Last night, while at dinner with my wife, cowards ‘swatted’ my home in Naples. These criminals wasted the time & resources of our law enforcement in a sick attempt to terrorize my family.” Swatting is a prank call made to authorities with the express purpose of luring them to a location – usually a home – where they are led to believe a horrific crime has been committed or is in progress. Not just a prank. It should be treated as attempted murder, and all stops should be pulled to find and severely punish whoever did the call. But that will only happen if the swats begin to be called against Planned Parenthood or some tranny event.

If this happened to a democrat, the perp would be tracked down and arrested in a FBI swat team raid.

One would think that in this age of advanced technology that the police would know the identify of both the caller and the target before they suited up in their swat gear. On second thought, both the police and the FBI love to play soldier when they get the chance.

There ought to be a serious effort made to locate those who do this and put them in jail for extended periods. A year in prison would seem about right for this crap.

Around 25 years ago, as a SWAT team leader for 15 years, I never initiated a tactical unit call out based on a phone call from an unknown person. Call outs were typically initiated by first responding patrol officer supervisors, senior sergeants or lieutenants, not some joker playing a dangerous game. At times, a nearby city police chief would call for assistance, when they needed trained and disciplined support, invoking a mutual aid agreement response. Citizens, well meaning or not, never caused a tactical response by themselves, therefore, I suspect blue city administration (democrat) collaboration in forcing these swatting responses on their police departments. If an innocent Republican is killed while reaching for his/her ID, the democrats would shrug it off and continue the game with renewed vigor, although the SWAT officer involved would undoubtedly be hung out to dry.

Where I live, here in eastern Oregon, phone calls asking for emergency assistance are answered by an operator who has an instant display of the caller's phone number, location, and I.D. Isn't that standard procedure in most USA locations? So how do the pranksters get away with it?

For those attempting to enter the U.S. legally, by following the law and visa application process, it’s a nightmare of rules, delays, cost, and frustration. In service of that goal, on Christmas Eve the Paper of Record ran a weepy piece by a prominent Gazan, someone who has witnessed the Israeli incursion firsthand. Did the Times give this plumb editorial space to a “moderate” Gazan, a known foe of the Hamas regime, one of those “innocent Palestinians” who have nothing, nothing whatsoever, to do with Hamas? It was later revealed that Card had a history of mental illness and had even threatened violence against his fellow servicemembers at a military base. In 2015, Edwards defeated a damaged Republican candidate, embroiled in a prostitution scandal. He campaigned as a conservative Democrat, with a military background and pro-second amendment and pro-life positions. For Gayle Harvey Heckman of Michigan, this might be the first time she could have some merriment on Christmas. The reason is simple: her mother is dead. Ms. Heckman went on a Genghis Khan rampage against her late mother, who she described as “violent, cruel, and hateful.” It didn’t stop there. The obituary also revealed disturbing allegations of serial sexual abuse, which floored the readership of Wilcox Newspapers. The piece was so shocking that the newspaper pulled the submission. For their part, management admitted they didn’t give the obituary a “good look” before publishing (via The Messenger):
