Tight security that surrounds President Biden was breached in spectacular fashion on Sunday night after a car collided with part of the presidential parked motorcade in Wilmington, Delaware. Secret Service agents drew their weapons on a black driver as the vehicle appeared to ram into an SUV that had closed down a street while Biden attended a nearby campaign event. The president and the First Lady had just emerged from the Biden-Harris 2024 headquarters in downtown Wilmington just after 8pm.

Sen. Ben Cardin has aired his disappointment over reports that a now-former staffer had taken part in filmed sexual activities in a Senate hearing room.
The Maryland senator spoke two days after Democrat congressional aide Aidan Maese-Czeropski, 24, was fired over the emergence of the tape - which was reportedly filmed in Hart Senate Office Building room 216.
The video depicts a graphic sex act between two men, and was reportedly leaked after being 'shared in a private group for gay men in politics.'
During an appearance on FNC’s “Special Report,” former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) called on viewers not to back former President Donald Trump.
She said she believed he would not uphold the rule of law.
Cheney said, “Every single president, Republican and Democrat, since George Washington, has ensured the peaceful transition of power. Donald Trump tried to seize power. Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott - fed up with apparent inaction from President Joe Biden on the current immigration crisis at the Southern border - has approved a sweeping new law that allows police to arrest migrants who illegally cross into the US.
The law will also give local judges the authority to order migrants to leave the country, as roughly 2,000 cross the border with Mexico every day.
The law, known as SB4, takes effect in March and allows any Texas law enforcement officer to arrest people who are suspected of entering the country illegally. Those who re-enter face penalties ranging from 180 days in jail to 20 years

This may seem counterintuitive in light of a recent spate of polls showing the former president leading Joe Biden, but this is primarily an artifact of the latter’s weakness. The most reliable polls show Trump bumping up against a ceiling of about 47 percent of the popular vote, which is consistent with his performance in the last two elections. An elected Democratic official in Washington, D.C., has been fined by the District of Columbia Board of Elections for voting twice in 2020.
Vanessa Rubio, an advisory neighborhood commissioner in D.C., voted in the District of Columbia and Maryland during the 2020 presidential election, according to NBC 4 Washington reporter Mark Segraves. She reportedly told the Board of Elections that since DC is not a state, she believed voting twice would be acceptable.
