One of the most annoying things about a lot of Joe Biden's speeches or remarks is that they are campaign speeches, trying to make him look better. So he's using our taxpayer dollars and the time he's in office to promote himself for 2024.
Even at the APEC Summit, where he's supposed to be talking about what he's done to benefit the country in terms of those relationships with other countries, he mostly repeated a lot of the same falsehoods about "Bidenomics" to promote himself for election.
Biden keeps claiming that Americans' real wealth/wages have grown under him, which is just manifestly untrue. He doesn't seem to care

If a Muslim in Texas had been able to carry out his plans, there could have been dozens, even hundreds killed. He was stopped, but others will keep trying.
Ahmed Mohamed Nassar, 35, a resident of South Austin, was on the terror watch list, but the feds clearly weren’t watching. They were too busy hunting for Jan. 6 “insurrectionists” and “white supremacists.” CBS Austin reported that on Saturday, “the incident began at 2:49 a.m. with a 911 call from a stabbing victim.” Police arrived within about ten minutes, and discovered that two others had been hurt as well. They were inside the house with Nassar. The situation escalated quickly.

Eight high school students in Las Vegas between the ages of 13 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of murder in the fatal beating of a 17-year-old classmate, authorities announced Tuesday at a news conference.
Las Vegas police homicide Lt. Jason Johansson said investigators were still working to identify two more students believed to have participated in the Nov. 1 fight that he said was over a pair of wireless headphones and a vape pen.
Johansson said the local FBI office assisted with the arrests Tuesday morning of the eight students. The two outstanding students will also face murder charges, he said.

Some may blame video games, others the music. Some may lay the problem at the feet of years of progressive education and politics, while still others point to the prevalence of social media. Some will point out that the nuclear family has been atomized over the ages through sexual liberation, federal intervention, and feminism. Others will look to conservatives who dithered about taxes while the country rotted from the inside. More than likely, it was all of the above that contributed to the chaos that reigns in the United States. To a certain degree, cops have always faced a certain level of animus.

Former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki recently posited that Donald Trump was a threat to the republic because he would prosecute his enemies, while the worst thing about Joe Biden was that he "occasionally trips over things." Clearly, she forgot that it is actually Joe Biden who is targeting and prosecuting his political enemies (Trump, pro-life activists, concerned parents at school board meetings, etc.). But the way she minimized the severity of what is going on with Joe Biden was a ridiculous attempt at gaslighting the public.
Psaki wants us to believe that while Joe Biden may have lost some spring in his step, he’s still firing on all cylinders.

A massive blaze that killed members of three generations of a Brooklyn family over the weekend stemmed from a lithium-ion battery used to power an electric scooter owned by one of the victims, FDNY officials said Monday.
The ignited battery created a “wall of fire” that made it extremely difficult for residents to escape 242 Albany Ave. in Crown Heights — where the three-alarm blaze erupted shortly after 4:30 a.m. Sunday, killing matriarch Albertha West, 81, her son Michael West, 58 and grandson Jamiyl West, 33, the FDNY said.
“The volume of fire we see from these batteries creates untenable conditions both for residents to get out, but also for

Democrat policies may have attracted millions to America with their open borders, but once those migrants get a taste of life under the American version of socialist banana republics, they’re turning around and going home.
The family went from sleeping on the floor of a police station, to a crowded shelter, to a house on the Far South Side, and then back to the floor of the police station after her stepfather Michael Castejon, 39, couldn’t afford the rent. He could not find a job that paid enough without a work permit, he said.
On Nov. 3, they set out to go back to Texas. And from there, they would go

Joe Biden’s regime is perhaps the most dysfunctional of all time.
First things first, let’s go over the massive threat to national security that the Biden regime continues to be, and to be honest, I hold each and every Democrat personally accountable.
In September, Bloomberg reported that under the direction of Jennifer Granholm, the Department of Energy invited high-ranking Chinese and Russian officials to tour a sensitive U.S. nuclear weapons site, to “prove its engineers aren’t breaking a three-decade moratorium against testing nuclear weapons[.]” The article also noted that this invitation came a number of months after Vladimir Putin withdrew his nation from an arms control agreement

Happy Thursday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Now that the Republicans in the House of Representatives have stopped the family feud for a while, they are finally getting around to focusing on the Democrats.
We have been hearing for months that the investigation into some of the Biden family finances has uncovered a few things worth further investigation. It's been a long, slow tease thus far, but it all should get more interesting soon, as Athena wrote yesterday:
"House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today issued subpoenas to President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, brother,

It's a safe bet that the residents of several Northern Washington communities are not voting for Joe Biden next November.
The Biden administration, apparently possessed by the spirits of dead grizzly bears, wants to go ahead with a plan to release up to seven apex predators in the Northern Cascade Mountain National Park every year for the next decade. It's hoped that there will be 200 grizzlies in the park by the end of the decade. Seeing a grizzly bear from afar is one of nature's most magnificent sights. But the 200 residents who crowded into a hearing about the government's plan to release the beasts

A Honest Reporting expose set the media on fire yesterday with the revelation that photojournalists working for the Association Press, CNN, Reuters and the New York Times had been embedded with Hamas in the Oct 7 massacres.
Four names appear on AP’s photo credits from the Israel-Gaza border area on October 7: Hassan Eslaiah, Yousef Masoud, Ali Mahmud, and Hatem Ali.
Eslaiah, a freelancer who also works for CNN, crossed into Israel, took photos of a burning Israeli tank, and then captured infiltrators entering Kibbutz Kfar Azza.
That’s where entire Israeli families were brutally massacred. Hassan Eslaiah, who provided material for the AP and CNN, has positions that are pretty clear.

The Washington Post has taken down a political cartoon after readers wrote it to the paper to complain the cartoon was “racist.”
David Shipley, editor of the opinion section of the Post, wrote in a rather confusingly worded “Editor’s note” (behind a paywall) that the paper would “continue to make the section home to a range of views and perspectives, including ones that challenge readers,” as part of the explanation of why it was doing the opposite of that.
The cartoon, by Michael Ramirez, was preserved in a post to X by Daniel Draymann, the chief product officer at Agot AI whose X profile describes him as “Passionate about … everything Israel.”
