Britney Spears, an iconic pop sensation, recently unveiled a deeply personal chapter of her life in her upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me.” In this memoir, she candidly shares her experience of being pressured into having an abortion during her relationship with Justin Timberlake. Britney’s revelation has sparked a conversation about the emotional and psychological consequences of abortion, which often go unnoticed and unaddressed.
In her memoir, Britney Spears opens up about the anguish she felt, saying, “To this day, [abortion] is one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.” Her statement shines a light on the profound emotional impact that abortion can have on women.

Britney went nutzo bananas many years ago and still remains a troubled enigma. Expect her to be like that. Watch out if she has knives in her hands.

Britney, the revelation of this terrible experience will reach many people of all ages. I hope it is especially resonating with young women. Positive change can come from the most unlikely places. May your pain/regret have a gigantic ripple effect that encourages the keeping, rather than the killing, of precious little lives. I wish you peace.

Sorry to be callous, but maybe, just maybe most women wouldn't feel pressured to have an abortion of it wasn't perceived as a frontline method of birth control for unprotected sex in the first place according to the Dems religion. While I'm not naive enough to believe they will cast their lot for chastity until marriage, they sure have plenty of access and are bombarded with advertisements for readily available and affordable birth control methods, and that certainly doesn't excuse the men who are the willing partners from the very real consequences of their actions. These aren't fourteen year old girls for the most part so my violin is staying in its case.

Both parents were multi-millionaires, who never needed to work another day of their lives, and could easily have afforded unlimited resources to help them raise their child, which eliminates all of the usual excuses for an abortion. The circumstance of a young wealthy couple opting for an abortion illustrates just how completely our society has been brainwashed into ignoring the profound spiritual and mental harm that results from ending a life in the womb. These spiritual and mental concerns are far more significant than material issues. I will also never understand an unwillingness to carry your baby to term, and then choose adoption over terminating the life of your child.

Britney is mentally ill. She is bipolar. She is off her medication since the 'free' Britney movement. She is a danger to herself and others. I also think her recollection of events could be confused. Either way, tho, it is and always has been the woman's right to choose. I just don't understand her need to tell everyone. Some things are private and need to stay that way.

It has not always been a woman's "right" to choose to murder the baby in her womb. That horrendous act was only granted legality in a limited number of states in the 1960's, and did not become widespread until the '70s. Britney's need to tell everyone her side of the story likely comes from the example set by her lefty pro-abortion peers who "shout their abortion" at every political rally and public opportunity afforded them.
Abortion is far from a private matter anymore. It is a subject of public political debate. In a few weeks Ohio will be voting on allowing women to choose abortion up until birth. California already allows such infanticide to take place. This is what is at the bottom of the slippery slope of the "Pro Choice" political position; 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 3 months....birth. A "Pro Choice" position based on a woman facing terrible circumstances places an arbitrary value on the baby's life. Why is a fetus at 3 months worth life and a fetus at 8 weeks is not? Does the truth of your position make it uncomfortable for you to hear it talked about?
Is a woman's terrible circumstances going to be improved by an abortion? The woman does not need to keep the baby; adoption is always an option. As a society we could also look into well-run orphanages as an alternative to the dysfunctional foster-parent program. There is so much more we could offer women and children than abortion and death.
I speak from my own dark experiences and pray daily for the souls of my babies in heaven; Veronica, Simon and Bridget. And all the babies denied life because of frightened young mothers and fathers. I had no other children. God forgive us for our selfishness, and help us overcome this evil.

The pro-abortion crowd never wants to talk about the negative effects of abortion.
Increased divorce rate, suicide rate, substance abuse rate, and the inability to have more children.

"Abortion up to time of birth!" How long before "abortion" will be defined as up to one year old....or two?
Road to hell, indeed!

#8, please don't tell me the men don't suffer especially when a woman makes a unilateral decision to terminate a pregnancy without consulting him. All too often men find out their relationship is over when a woman informs them that she terminated the pregnancy.

Birth control pills have been available since the mid 60's. There are other methods available. Why are there still abortions?

Children are designed to be youngsters who are a product of marriage.

What is the difference between the abortion industry killing babies and HAMAS killing babies? Death is still death whether it’s one at a time or in mass killings. Christians who support either are seriously misled.
